Questions on data recovery from possibly bricked LG Optimus Elite - Android Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

I've got an old VirginMobile LG Optimus Elite (LGVM696) phone that won't boot, and I'm wondering if any data recovery is possible. The device itself isn't important, but I want to find out if I can recover photos.
When I plug the phone into a Windows PC, it shows up in the device manager as Qualcomm HS-USB QDLoader 9008 (COM3). ADB or fastboot don't recognize the device, on Windows or Ubuntu (not sure if I got everything installed correctly on Ubuntu, though).
If it's recognized as this QDLoader 9008, does that just mean it's toast, or is there some way to load a recovery image or something? Would that erase the internal storage?
I've found a lot of threads on here about this, but I don't know enough about Android to really figure it out. Not sure what everything means, like the difference between recovery and a custom recovery, download mode, fastboot, etc. I don't think I've found much for this particular phone, either.
I'm also seeing a lot of mentions of .dll, .tot, .kdz files. What are all those in regards to Android or LG specifically? I've found a .cab file that is supposedly the stock firmware for this phone.

I think I removed the kernel with cmw and detects me a HS-USB QDLoader 9008 in Windows. Is there a way to connect the phone (with battery or without, eg) with some key (or key combination thereof) that entered the phone in fastboot mode? I do not see anything in adb devices and there is no bootloader - dark screen (battery ok).

hdx8.9 bricked

i've deleted the system partiton when i try to flash cm14 in safestrap twrp.
so i downloaded the stock rom, rename it from *.bin to *.zip in order to install it in the twrp.
and i installed the newest twrp in fastboot mode after unlock sucessfully.
Finally, the black out happened. no pic in any time, only find qualcomm hs-usb qdloader 9008(COM4) when connect to PC make me know it still alive.
As far as I know qualcomm hs-usb qdloader 9008 means Emegercy Download Mode. the I tried some tools such as QFIL and Miflash, but nothing good happen.
It didn't work either when I found the link below

LG L80 (D375) Qualcomm HS-USB QDLoader 9008 brick

Hello everyone.
so, as the title says, I got this hard brick, I can't turn on the phone in any way (I don't even got a boot loop). it happened suddenly when I tried to turn the phone on, it had a stock rom (not the one that comes with the phone because it was corrupted by some kind of malware), the phone didn't turn on and the pc recognized it as QHUSB_Bulk, but after I installed the drivers the pc recognized it as Qualcomm HS-USB QDLoader 9008.
I tried with BoardDiag and QFIL but it doesn't worked. I just cant find the TOT file, I tried replacing files like partition.txt from other phones TOT files like the LG G2, but It doesn't works. with QFIL I tried but mixing D325 and D375 files (because I got the kdz and the dz from the D375 so I got some files to use), using the CMD I manage to make it finish the whole proces, but the phone is still bricked.
if anyone can help with the TOT file or another method that I didn't find it would be aprecciated.

HELP - I Need Unbrick.img for G900v

Hey all,
I am looking for a working unbrick, img for a hard bricked G900v that currently doesnt go into recovery mode or download mode. Windows recognizes the device only as Qualcomm HS-USB QDLoader 9008.
I honestly dont remember what version BL or FM i flashed it with last and I have been searching for days online and through xda-dev for versions of unbrick images to mount onto my sd card to enable it to get to download mode so I can try and revive this device.
I have tried PD1, NCG, among the ones i remember, none of which have worked.
Can someone help?

Moto G7 unable to boot, screen black, no sign of life

So i have my Moto G7 right here, and recently i tried to jailbreak it, which worked fine
i then tried to use Magisk to root, which resulted in an eternal bootloop
i tried to reflash stock onto it, still bootlooping
in feeble hope that the other boot slot had a boot partition that worked, i switched to slot B
now nothing is working, however, Windows detects the device, as "Qualcomm HS-USB QDLoader 9008 (COM4)"
how do i switch the boot slot back? ADB and Fastboot do not recognize the device, so DONT GIVE ME INTRUCTIONS FOR ADB OR FASTBOOT. just tell me how i swap bootslots without loading Fastboot
@CodeWritten
I think the device is unrecoverably bricked.
Would pulling the battery and lettings the cmos battery die not work then?
There has to be a way

What is the point of that? Forcibly emptying/cleaning the memory chip / CMOS chip does not help.
If you power on an Android device, the Bootloader ( comparable with BIOS/UEFI on computers ) gets startet which makes accessible the RAM-disk , loads the Linux kernel into RAM, and then starts the first process called init. This is also valid for A/B-ed Android systems.
To me it seems the Bootloader is broken because you obviously can't boot into Recovery.
According to a few things iv'e read, apparently if the device is recognized as it is now (Qualcomm HS-USB QDloader 9008) it is savable
EDIT: I need the .mbn file for Moto G7 XT1962-1
