[Help] Mate 10 Pro (BLA-L29) Back to Stock - Huawei Mate 10 Questions & Answers

Hii Good day,
I'm trying to return back to stock after making a mistake of not making a backup of my original system.img.
I have tryed the https://forum.xda-developers.com/mate-10/how-to/guide-mate-10-flash-oreo-update-package-t3716814 guide but I cant seem to get it to work.
I can boot into RROS for now and use my phone but it's not working smoothly.
If anyone would be so kind to help me restore back to stock.
I have the BLA-L29 from Holland.

You'll need to download the update.zip, extract the system.img with this tool and flash it via fastboot.

I already tried that. But I wont let me install it.

I see you're from Holland @Luinwethion can you tell me what model number you have?

What error do you get? I had the same when I flashed LOS, and I could flash the extracted system.img without any problems.

Have you followed the extract guide step by step.? This looks like the system.img is corrupted.
On which version where you before flashing rros?

That's the problem. I don't know what version I was using. Just that it was the latest version available in Holland.
As for the app. It's straight forward right? Dissable 'Verify header checksum' and right clicking the system.img and extracting it? Right?

What's your kernel build date?
Which version have you downloaded?
I might have the system.img that I extracted when I flashed EMUI back, I might be able to upload it for you later if you haven't figured out a way by then.

BLA-L29C33B129 (8.0.0.129)
BLA-L29C432B137 (8.0.0.137)
I tried those. But I cant get to my kernel build date because my phone wont boot anymore.
So I only got Fastboot working for me now.
And as for my branding, I dont know. I guess the same as yours.
And if you could upload your file. That would be awsome!

zelfde vraag als gogoffm moet je meer flashen of alleen de system.img want op dit moment heb ik een fw extract en die zorgde voor een bootloop en nu kan ik alleen in twrp recovery en bootloader graag wat hulp als het kan. ik zal laten weten of jouw versie werkt en een laatste vraag, zorgt deze ervoor dat je telefoon niet meer rooted is?
