Sorry I just woke up and am on my phone in bed... Can't find stuff easily. Retry huawei update finder to search for full current rom. Use honor multitool and unbrick method follow the instructions and then use huawei update extractor to get the required files
Check recovery on phone is stock if not flash using multitool
finally , my phone received ota update to b321

Firmware Finder

I have two Mate 10s, one is the ALP-AL00 and the other is the ALP-L29CC636. Firmware Finder shows that updates are available for both of these devices but when I select to download them the System update says 'No updates'. How do I update them?

As of June Huawei started using https so FF can't send it to System Update. You would have to use HWOTA or TWRP with HuRUpdater.
Thanks ante0
Does that mean I should wait for the official updates from Huawei instead? And does using HWOTA require root?

HWOTA requires unlocked bootloader, same as TWRP.
You could wait, AL usually get updates fast
And FW shown on FF can be beta and test too, so just because a new fw appeared doesn't mean it will be pushed to devices eventually.

The ALP-L29 8.0.0.138(C636) is actually approved for installation according to FF. So it shouldn't be to long...

Software Install Failed Using Dload Method - ANE-LX1

I have ANE-LX1, i wanted to install android 9.0 beta for ANE-LX1 i got the firmware from Huawei Firmware Finder, installed it using dload, and boom software install failed i use System 8.0.0.046 (0CFV) (i tried to unlock bootloader and had to downgrade but failed sucks that you have to pay to unlock a bootloader) i tried to install newer android 8.0 but still software failed any fixes?
Dload does not work with updates from Firmware Finder. Those updates are not signed by Huawei so they don't work.
You have to download the update from here: https://androidhost.ru/search.html

Mate 10 pro L29C432 stuck at .161

I've got an unbranded L29C432 mate pro but been stuck at the .161 firmware for ages, tried using HiCare but can't seem to find new firmware.
Can I do a manual update? (dload method?) and which firmware should I download? Too bad FF doesn't work anymore :crying:
Same here. No OTA,no hicare and stuck on November security patch.

Is there a new or more up-to-date method to root and flash fw on Mate 20 Pro?

Hi,
Does anyone know if the Mate 20 Pro rooting and flashing the fw guides here are still working and should still be used? I do have a code to unlock my bootloader, but it appears that the guides, and the software recommended to install/use in those guides are either outdated or no longer accessible.
I'm kind of reluctant to follow the guides to root and flash my fw, that my risk the chance of bricking my phone. Does anyone know of any guides that still work today?
I'm currently on 9.0.0.265(C636E10) that was flashed by the previous owner through FunkyHuawei. The phone was purchased from a Canadian carrier (Rogers) and the fw should be associated to the C792 region. I would like to root and re-flash my fw back to the C792 region and start receiving OTA updates, but I'm unable to find a complete and up-to-date guide to help me achieve this.
Any help from you experts is greatly appreciated.

service firmware also updates cust and preload specific to your region.
Thanks! I was able to successfully update my fw to 9.1 and back to my region by using this method.
