Battery use - recording 720p vs 1080p

Hi
Does anyone know if there is a big difference in battery consumption when comparing 720p video recording to 1080p.
I can image 1080p using more but is the difference big enough?

s2 movies

my cellphone have "zoom" when i film at full HD resolution - 1920x1080, and filming with 720p it's normal.
720p - videobam . com/mglIZ
1080p - videobam . com/IehLG
(remove the spaces)
Now, my question is, Is my cellphone good, or have a problem?
the S2 can record 720p or 1080p but can take 8mp (3456x2304 almost 4k hahaha) pictures ;D
so... its good :highfive: don't worry

What are the slow motion video options?

I'm looking to buy the mate 10 (or 8 plus) but struggling to find details on the quality of the slow motion video.
Please can anyone tell me what resolution and FPS it does?
Thanks
FullHD with 120 FPS
720P with 240 FPS

Hi! I have a problem with that part. When I recorded a video in slow motion in my Mate 10 in HD quality resolution (1080p) it happens that when I SAVE my final slow motion video after editing with the bar, it saves with a resolution of 1072p! Why is that? Anyone has the same problem? Thank you.

Video quality

Your friends are never going to believe what you did. The only way to prove it to them is with that video you took. Rate this thread to express how videos shot on the Samsung Galaxy Note 9 come out. A higher rating indicates that videos are smooth (and not choppy) and that auto-focus works very well, and that the camera adjusts quickly to different lighting conditions while recording.
Then, drop a comment if you have anything to add!
Hello,
what format of video recording do you prefer ? UHD 60FPS are cool, but video has no stabilization and videos are too big.
Is it chance in future there will be QHD (2K) with 60FPS ? Not only 30FPS

Most likely it can be achieved via root and custom ROM on the exynos. The exynos 9810 have higher capabilities regarding that part compared to the sd845 so it can achieve higher FPS, but samsung can't release it officially as it will make the two variants different. The exynos note 8 for example has already unlock for 4к@60fps while stock is up to [email protected], all because the snapdragon 835 doesn't support 60fps on that resolution while the exynos does. Same is for our phone, the exynos has better capabilities in encoding video.
And:
what type of video recording do you prefer ? and why ? thanks
30 fps on android has better details, dont need to use 4k60 unless you pan a lot or shoot sports, zoom is also mediocre on 60fps

Longer 480fps slowmo recording?

Hi! Coming from OP6 which have SD845 SoC and its capable of recording up to 1minute of 720p 480fps video, resulting in 16min playback video at 30fps. I wonder if my S9+ can do the same if it have also the SD845 and better camera sensor, 240fps mode its ok but the 960 and 480 modes are too short! According to the SD845 specs it support up to 480fps recording (as far as i know 960fps its possible on the s9 because the camera sensor has a dram cache that makes it possible).
There's a way to extend the 480fps mode to at least 30sec or 1min ? Thanks
