Hi guys.
I have a samsung a5 2017 (a520f)
I know it is a ridiculous question but I wanna know shall I enable "allow oem unlocking" in developer mode to flash twrp and root with magisk?
If so, shall I unlock bootloader or no?
Please answer as soon as possible.
And sorry for my bad English.

Yes, you need to unlock your bootloader in order to flash a custom recovery.

Now this is what needs to be worked on...I spoke to Asus myself and told them the need to release it and let some good developers support this device because they sure haven't...
How did you root it?
Hello people from XDA!
From what I have read time and time again while looking for a way to change my Bootloader unlock allowed:NO to YES, there should be a way to install a custom ROM and recovery without unlocking my bootloader (since it's apparently impossible to unlock it). And if there is a way, please let me know.
Additional information:
My device is rooted (Kingoroot)
I'd really apperciate some "light" on the subject. I've searched for weeks and there seem to be absolutely no threads regarding the subject, although there are people claiming they have done it.
Thanks in advance.
What Android version is your phone running? 5 or 6?
5; 6.0 hasn't been released in my region (Latin America)??

I just read it, and I don't see anything about doing it while my bootloader is locked (I can't unlock it because in the menu it says "bootlocker unlock allowed:NO" which means it's impossible to unlock it).

Find and activate OEM unlocking within the developer option in the settings menu. It may or may not work - but its worth a shot.

You asked the same question 2 weeks ago and I told you that there's only the official way. There simply is no other way to do it and everybody successfully unlocked their phones using Mi Unlock Tool.
If you are getting an error message when you try to unlock your phone, we can help you out.

Exactly, you just have to enable the developer options and there turn on debugging and OEM and and wait until the oem letters turn gray.

In UK yes, US/Canada no.
Goto Thread '(R&D) [How to] [Working] V5_Root S23Ultra (S918B_WA6)' https://forum.xda-developers.com/t/r-d-how-to-working-v5_root-s23ultra-s918b_wa6.4548883/
You say you can't find Unlock OEM, assuming you are UK, see here::

Have you ever rooted a Samsung mobile before, especially a more recent generation version ?. Not for the feint hearted !!
I offer NO responsibility of any damage to your phone as a result of any information I offer or imply.
To be honest I cannot offer any easier instructions than the OP of this thread:

AND instead of using the Magisk apk in OPs 1st post use this :
