Hi,
I'm curious if anyone has experience with one of these music stations:
http://www.insidepda.de/testbericht,music-dock,1.html
and the other one
http://cgi.ebay.de/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=290039058825
Both cost about the same (around 30€). I wonder if one of these has any major flaws and how the sound quality is. I know that they can not compete with a good home stereo.
Thanks for commenting!
This is the second thread on this:

Still don't know if/when I'll be getting one.
Just wondered what other people do to their camera settings to take good point and click pictures?
Seen that changing white balance to daylight seems to brighten things up so they look less washed out.
What do you guys use for other settings such as contract and sharpness?
Anyone try the new vivid display. It sounds interesting and might work very nice with googles new material design. Im going to give it a shot for a few days and see how it goes and if it affects battery life
It only works in Movies and Album
Just got my G5 two days ago and while comparing it to the S7 in the Verizon store I couldn't tell too much of a difference. Obviously the S7 is brighter with better contrast but when I came home I compared the G5 to my old S4 and pictures in on the S4 look so much better. The colors seems washed out on this phone.
Is anyone having issues with this? And does anyone know of a way to adjust contrast on the phone? I'm seriously considering returning it for the S7 at this point.

Mine seems kinda washed out. It's not all the time though.

Samsung phones over saturate all the colors as a way to sell the phone imo, so when you see it on display it tends to pop out more. So in contrast it will make the G5s screen look dull in comparison.
I've taken pictures with my G5 and compared the color to original object and it seems close to the true color temperature. My GFs GS6 on the other hand clearly looks overblown when comparing the picture taken to the object. With that said, I think the colors on the G5 are also overblown just a little.
Contrast is no comparison, OLED will always win.. Especially in dark environments. But I've been very impressed with the G5 in most lighting, although some lighting does expose weaker contrast.
you can't compare LCD to Amoled, obviously Amoled is more superior.
you should compare it to other phones with LCD display.
I've had my G5 for a few days now and I absolutely love it. Expect, recently my phone would dim on its own, just enough that it's noticeable and irritating. I've checked all the settings and the auto mode is turned off. I know other people have/had this issue. Is there a fix for this?
Thanks in advance.

On the G3
There was an option to increase contrast on the G3. I'm not sure whether it's on the g5 though. I can't post links yet but search in google- (droid life color adjustment g3.)

I've messed around with those and sadly it doesn't help. A simple option to adjust contrast or colors would work wonders., imo.
As for the previous comments, I should have been a bit more clear on my complaints. Yes I'm aware AMOLED is superior to LCD but the difference I'm seeing is bigger than it should be. The colors were better on my old HTC DNA. Just like any new LCD TV, you have the ability to adjust picture settings and I can't imagine why that's not an option on phones.
Aside from this complaint, I really do like the phone. From my understanding, LG has been really good in the past about Android updates so hopefully some of the complaints will be rectified with updates.

Its just a matter of waiting now, as soon as we get root a whole new world of possibilities will open up
Alright, so I found the tab S3 for $330 at Best Buy(new). The Silver color apparently did not sell as much as the black, so Best Buy has it on clearance in store only. I bought it and is coming in a couple of days. However, I'm concerned as to whether I should keep this tablet(for the price I got) or I should go ahead and get the tab S4(for discounted price of $549)?
I find that the tab S3 has a lot of mixed reviews regarding battery life, speed and speakers. I haven't researched the tab S4 as much. But most complaints I've found are about DEX and that it's expensive.
Looking for some biased and non biased responses.
Do you need DeX or pen functionality?
If not, go for the new Tab S5e.
Should have good battery life, has fingerprint reader, nice screen and it's already on Pie.

Mainly, looking for a tab where I can do medical charting with the S-Pen(good handwriting to text translation) and watch a movie from time to time.
Thanks for the response.
since i've own both device this is my opinion for your usage.
for your medical charting with s-pen. both will do but the s3 4:3 screen ratio give better reading and writing area then s4 16:9.
entertainment. i take s4 for its wide 16:9 ratio. the black bar on s3 with 4:3 ration is to big. its like watching old tv with current new wide screen format movie.
I too have both.
My S3 battery does seem to discharge quite fast.
Cases for the S3 are better, specifically the ones with hand straps.
Both look great, although the S4 screen looks much better.
In my opinion it isn't just better for media but also for work. With or without DeX the S4 screen makes Citrix workspace and MS remote desktop easier on the eyes.
If the Tab S4 still comes with the gear fit 2 pro, it's a better deal in my opinion, even if you don't want the watch, you can gift it or sell it.
