Hi all,
Wondering if there's an app that can tell what can turn ringer on by itself...
At night if I turn my ringer off, texts wake me the next morning by vibrating.
If I turn on do not disturb texts wake me with full ringer notification sound. Changed dnd schedule to off later in day, didn't do anything. Changed dnd to priorities off and no schedule, still wakes on texts.
I have no idea if it's the texts pushing through, or something turns it back on through the night.
I've not installed anything prior to the issue. Since it started I installed a new router app and cam app, but again was happening before.
Losing sleep is getting to me so I'm ready to do a hard reset. Hoping however there's a way to track via a log what could be causing this.
I did update a large amount of apps, so I'm guessing that is the trigger. Just zero clue what is really causing. Would take ages to install a few apps at a time then wait for morning to test...
Any guesses?
Thank you,
Sleepy android user...

My wife has the MoPho with the latest updates. Bone Stock and not rooted. Every couple of days all notification alert sounds just goes silent. This includes text, emails, alarms, timers, etc... It's as if it goes into silent mode. All settings appear to be in order and the only way to fix this is to reboot.
Does anyone know what's going on? This is a real inconvenience esp. if audible alerts go dead causing her to miss her wake up alarm.
Edit::
Thanks! Removing scramble solved my problem! You're a life saver!

I had this same problem up until about three weeks ago. After doing some research, I found Scramble with Friends to be the culprit. I uninstalled it and haven't had the problem for weeks. Hope this helps.
Thanks i'll give this a try. Currently on one day without the problem creeping up again.
Hi all,
I am still on stock ROM (unmodified and unrooted) G925FXXU2QOH8.
I have noticed, that WhatsApp messages quite often come through exactly when I turn my phone on via the home button. So when I wake my phone. Coincidence? Unlikely
And yesterday someone tried to call me three times and I neither got the call nor a notification of the missed call until I woke my phone.
Does anybody know what is causing this? Seems like WiFi and mobile are effected. Somehow the phone does not seem to wake properly when it receives a message etc.
Hope someone can help me out
Guys please help: I recently purcashed a LG Vista LG-D631. Within the next 24 hrs the phone was changed to 5.0.1 without my knowledge. That's when I started to notice that the sound changes to Priority, or No Interruptions automatically. Most of the time, the settings get changed at around 500am. My alarm is set for 530 am so I do not have any sound to wake up, only vibration. I have checked almost every morning, in the settings, Sound , Interruptions, and it is set to ALL, no check marks on calendar, incoming or new messages. The schedule section remains unchecked for all days of the week, and the From and To times are not highlighted. I have gone through each of my apps to determine if one of the Apps has a notification set, but none of the apps have check marks next to them. Lately I have rooted the phone, which works great, except for the NO INTERRUPTIONS that turn on by itself.
I have been searching the internet on how to change the settings with no luck. Please give some ideas.
Thanks in advance.
Good Evening,
I'm fairly new to the Amazfit Stratos but up to the last ROM update all was fine.
Since then my Silent Time settings are not being honoured.
I have them set from 22:00 to 07:00.
For example at 22:05 the setting is not activated and the watch will disturb me with notifications.
If I go into settings and toggle the Silent Time off/on, the Silent Tim becomes active.
However, at 07:00 Silent Time is not deactivated.
Again going into settings and toggling off/on causes the Silent Time to deactivate but again come 22:00 the setting stays off.
Anyone experiencing this? Its really annoying as I can no longer wear in bed in case I get a notification and it wakes me up.
I have tried a factory reset and setup things again. Still no joy.
Seemed OK under older ROM before 2.3.2.8 last week.
Any help appreciated.
Did you try the classic "unpair then pair again, reboot both watch and phone" yet?
Thanks for taking time to reply. Yes. Complete factory reset and app reinstall. Still no joy.
Think it’s the phone ROM itself as the Silent Time does not kick in or out when time comes.
I have reset and tested various Silent Times tonight and it now seems intermittent. Have one active now and will see if it deactivates in morning and reactivayes tomorrow night.
my GS9+ is on the verizon network if that matters.
In the last 4-5 weeks my notifications, especially those with sound have become severely delayed. It is especially noticeable with apps such as:
SmartThings (when doors open and close at)
Nine (Exchange email)
HikVision Connect (Doorbell camera motion notifications)
It seems to happen more often when on wifi, but i can't confirm that.
When I get up at work from my desk it is like the phone wakes up and all of the sudden I get 5-10 notifications all at once. This also happens at home. It is like the phone wakes up and catches up with a bunch of notifications that it forgot to report.
SMS notifications don't seem to ever be delayed.
Was there a software update or app update that someone knows that might be causing this problem?
Granted I don't have Verizon at all, but my s9+ isn't having any notification issues.
Did you try disabling battery optimization? I turned mine off so that the phone wouldn't put apps to sleep and etc. Power savings for wifi turned on? If so try making sure that's turned off so your phone stays connected to wifi when the screen is off.
Any of the power savings mode enabled or other power savings apps you may have installed?
Mobile data plan permitting try running the phone on mobile data only (no wifi) to see if the issue happens as well.
Are there other apps effected by the issue your having? If a select number of apps are effected (and others are not) try getting in touch with the app developers and let them know what is going on.

I'm on Verizon. Similar deal. I let a system update get applied "Just security patches, no big deal", and it broke some of my notifications. Not all of them. Just some of them. I thought this was early Sept, but might have been in late Aug.
It's "doze". It used to only happen if your phone sat still for 20 min, but it was supposed to wake up with movement. Now mine kicks on after 3 min and movement doesn't impact it at all. You are supposed to be able to whitelist apps you don't want put to sleep, but it seems to be ignoring that setting for some of my apps. After three min I can send my phone a message, and it won't alert me at all. It's not until I turned on the screen, that they all come rolling through.
