Standby Android drain after changing battery

After replacing the battery in an Xiaomi Redmi 1s with a Nohon one, the phone is draining in standby around 1% per hour with airplane mode. With original battery its 1% every 2.5-3 hours on same settings. According to battery stats its caused by 'Android' keeping the phone awake.
When I put back in the original battery, it stops. Android % drops and standby drain reduces. Any ideas why this would happen? Doesn't make sense to me.

Battery Drain

Hi guys on standby time of 15 hours untouched my Mate 20 Pro is loosing 8% battery. Coming from my previous phone Pixel 2 XL which in the same time frame would loose 5% at most. Considering the Mate 20 Pro has a much bigger battery this equates to a higher battery drain as opposed to the Pixel 2 XL. How can I fix this drain and find the cause. The drain should be no greater than 5% in 15 hours of standby
Hi
battery life heavily depends on the applications installed and used. What I do in those cases is:
a) install a battery monitoring app (e.g. BBS )
b) once the offending package has been identified, it can be deactivated
c) in case its wakelocks you could also go and disable the offending ones
HTH, cheers,
Axel
I have the same issue; it seems my mate20pro is has the same baterry life as my s8plus. Huawei told me to fully charge and leave on airplane mode for 12 hours; it the charge looses more than 5% then its a fault.

In airplane mode enabled you won't lose more than 5% as nothing will work on the phone with no live connection

POCO F1 - Extreme Battery drain

I have been experiencing quite the significant battery drain on my Poco F1, 9.1.24 beta rooted with magisk 18.1. Please find graphs attached, from BBS. Also, I found that there is huge no of *job delay* alarms from android, the cause of which i am not able to decipher. The phone is not sleeping when screen is off. After numerous factory resets, the situation is till the same. Sot is nowhere near the 9 hr mark as people are reporting. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
From 91% (I usually charge my device till 91%) with 10% still left.
Have you made any changes to the stock miui settings, with regards to battery consumption ? Could you post the gsam and BBS stats for your usage too? Thanks!!

11_A.34 firmware and battery drain

I'm experiencing huge battery drain with this update.
Only getting 5 hours of SOT.
Before 7-8 hours.
Anyone else experiencing this?
same here
i'm also experiencing heating issues even on simple, casual activity

Yes I have also noticed a drop in battery life after the update
Actually I noticed better battery life on the 90 Hz refresh then on the AUTO.
Getting 6-7 Hours SOT with this enabled.
I know that 60 Hz is probably even better but that's not an option for me!

Question Realme GT battery life

I'm not really satisfied with battery life of my less than two months old Realme GT 12/256 GB.
What is your average screen on time on this phone?
Mine would be in the 3.5-5 hours range in a day and a half, maybe more if I watch a movie or something.
I'm not playing games and only have Viber, WhatsApp, Facebook... usual stuff.
I didn't see any tanglible difference between "auto" and 60 Hz screen mode regarding battery life.
Also, what percentage of battery drain do you see overnight?
I'm on latest firmware, tried every possible battery saving combination, but always have at least 3% battery drain overnight (usually around 4% in 7-8 hours) and that with radio and all apps off and various battery saving settings applied (global and per app).
I'm starting to believe it's "normal" for this phone and its SD 888 chipset.
Thanks.
Same
I have very similar results as you. Battery life is just ok.
Current battery life:
from 93% to 28% in 1d 19h, SOT: 3h 15min.
Before this I had Poco F3 for a month or so and I don't recall exactly, but it was something like a 1%, 2% max. drain overnight with pretty much the same usage pattern.
Also I have Lenovo tablet with far weaker MTK CPU but not much bigger battery (5000 mAh and 10.3'' screen) and that one almost doesn't use battery in standby mode (beats all phones I had).
I'm currently disabling various apps and testing and I'll post here if I find out something useful.
Optimized standby - Ultra standby makes exactly no difference in my current setup so I turned it off completely.
Quick device connect is also turned off and not in use, as far as I can tell.
