Need help unbricking LG Optimus L90 D415 - Android Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

I bricked my LG Optimus L90 and whenever I turn it on it gets stuck on the white T-Mobile screen. AFAIK this should just be a soft brick and it should be fixable. I'm able to boot into download mode and connect my phone to my PC via USB cable. When I do this, though, it fails to install the "MTP USB Device" driver and the device status says "This device cannot start. (Code 10)". What am I doing wrong? Should I be doing this a different way? Or could my phone actually be hard bricked?

Hi.
Need help with my phone. It has dead boot I think. Can't enter CWM,or dwn mode.
Is there any JTAG support for LG P920?
Or,can I use Octopus Suite for repairing the dead boot of my phone?

The phone does not power on.
Can't enter CWM,or download mode.
When I connect it to computer just a device "Omap4430" connects and disconnects permanently.
Whatever I do,the device keeps connecting and disconn. again and again.

Just a question
how did you do brick your phone ?
accidentally erase boot/recovery partitions?
or x-loader / u-boot areas ?

so you can't even enter S/W download mode ?
I have the same problem, maybe even a bit worse!
P920 bricked after a failed flash of CM9 due to battery running out.
Phone now completely dead.
No omap4430 when connected to my PC, all attempts to put the phone into download mode fail, so omap4boot, LGFlashtool etc do not work.
I've tested the battery in my other working P920 and it's fine so it's not a power issue.
Can anyone help?

Since your phone ran out power in the middle of flashing a ROM then all of the partitions the ROM overwrites with new data are only partially flashed and still contain data from your previously installed ROM. In the process of only partially flashing the partitions due to your phone losing power the partitions have been corrupted (Including boot partition and recovery partitions), which is why your phone isn't able to boot, access recovery mode, download mode, or be recognized by any computer program. At this point unfortunately it seems you have hard bricked your phone and JTAG is really your only option to attempt to revive your phone. However, I have heard the Optimus 3D's JTAG input isn't connected so it isn't functional. You should try bringing it into a repair shop and see what they can do for your phone.

Moto E 1st Gen bricked and not going into fastboot

Hi-
My old moto E first generation has recently bricked, and just stopped working - all that happens is when I plug it in and hold the power button, the notification led blinks a few times. When I try to enter fastboot, nothing happens at all.
When I plug the bricked device into my Windows 10 pc, It shows up in Devices and Printers as "Qualcomm HS-USB QDloader 9008 (COM4)". In device manager, however, it pops up, if at all, as "Unknown USB device (Device Descriptor Request failed)".
Please help!
Thanks in advance for your time.

[HELP] LGMS330 Still Black Screen But detected as LG Serial Port But no tools work

After being stuck in qloader 9008 mode, I decided to flash the kdz to a micro sd card using eMMC software download as I saw other people do it with their phones and it working fine. However, when I put the sd card into the phone, the screen was still black but this time instead of qloader 9008, it detected as AndrodNet USB Serial Port. When that came up, I thought I could use LGUP but there's a problem with every LG tool I used.
LGUP Would Show unknown model and show a com port number and nothing after it. When I did select that port it would say "you have to select a known model please"
When I used LG FlashTool 1.8.1, every time I would load a firmware and press the yellow arrow, It would say "Failed PreviousLoad()". (I know this software works because I have tried it on different phones and it would work)
When I use LG Bridge, I'd select update error recovery and it would go on "checking device information" and would return back with "connect your mobile device to the USB port. If it is already connected, contact LG customer service.
When I use LG Flash Tool 2014, It would say "problem with communication between cell phone and PC"
Does anybody have any other ideas or tools for me to try? All help I can get is appreciated. Or was it better to be stuck in qloader9008 mode?
