Hi, in the past i have used button remapping tools on Android phones, and was wondering if there is any app available or possible to be made so any app can be opened with available 3 hardware buttons on the amazfit stratos.
I tried a few apps but they didn't work. Button Remapper for wear app got installed but had no idea how to use.

Is there any app for rooted xt910 RAZR which will allow to assign custom actions,
like for example launch another application,
to those 4 buttons on bottom of device, physical buttons:
Menu, home, back, search ?
There is something like that in some roms, but currently i am using rom without such function...
So maybe there is standalone app allowing for it?
Hi, I'm trying to simulate a long press of the home button in order to launch 'Google now on tap' as my phone (elephone p9000, stock 6.0, rooted) has got rid of the navigation bar in favour of a single capacitive button, which uses the long press function to launch recent apps instead of Google now on tap and I can't find any other way to launch this service. You can bring the navigation bar back but this interferes with other functionality I have set up now. Can anyone please tell me either an app that can run a script to simulate the home key long press or alternatively another way to create a shortcut to launch Google now on tap as right now I'm having to go into settings reactivate the navigation bar, long press home and then deactivate it after. Not exactly streamlined! Thanks for any advice.
Would be great to be able to assign Google now on tap to the fast access Button on the left. I miss it myself and dont want to use one Screen Navigation.

There's actually 2 very straightforward ways of doing this, one of which is I thought I'd tried but obviously not very well. You can launch the Now on Tap feature by assigning it to a gesture in either LMT pie control or another 3rd party app called All In 1 Gestures. If this isn't clear just ask.
Anybody figured this? What would the shortcut show up as using a third party app. I can see Google but how would you access Google now on tap? Doesn't show up as a shortcut.

I'm trying to remap a double press of the power button to open an app. I have tried powy but the app chrashes and I don't think you can remap the actions to a specific app so it doesn't work for me. If anybody has found a similar app or an xposed module that does this please reply.
(Rooted android 8.1)
Is there a way Remap the buttoned for Google as it's not needed as you can old the white dot on screen down for the same result.
Just did a quick Google search. There are a number of remap apps available for doing this. The one featured in xda is called assistant remap or something similar.
working for me
I used button remapper app (or button remapper pro)
and it works great
you have to first disAble the "Google Asssitant Button" from settings
then run the button remapper app
in my cases it asked me to ad some adb permissions via an app tool
but it is working great
now I have
double click - camera opens
single click - take a picture

Click to collapse
I was actually going to ask if it could become the camera button. Something perfect on the Lumia's that im surprised never took off on Droid phones.
Thank you for this.
Works great.
Not working
Hi,
I have few Camera apps installed, it works on the Google camera port and most (except Camera PX)
https://forum.xda-developers.com/nokia-7-2/themes/gcam-nokia-7-2-google-camera-port-balu-t3981019
also I had to buy the "button remapper pro" app
since the regular version does not have the action "camera shutter" available
other than that, it works well for me

Could be possible to customize any of the 4 Amazfit T-Rex 2 buttons to directly launch the Torch and keep it on as long as you want? Currently you can launch the Torch from the slide-down control panel, but would like to know if can be done without having to touch the screen. When wearing gloves in the night would be really helpful.
The Amazfit T-Rex 2 allows to customize the SEL button, so you can launch directly the Torch/Flashlight with a single press, once the screen is unlocked.
The watch "Honor Watch GS Pro" also has a customizable Down button so can put Torch there.
