Hi All,
I'm new in this forum and in this android world. I have a Huawei mate 9, time ago I used Firmware Finder app to download and install a new firmware for my smartphone, after that, when restarting or turning on it, I receive a message that my phone has been unlocked and can't be trusted, also I have lost the functionality to change themes and the update system functionality. I have been trying to find a solution to have my update system functionality available again.
can you please help me with the instructions to fix this?
smartphone details:
Model: BLL-L23
Compilation: NRD90M test-keys
EMUI: 5.0.1
Android: 7.0
Any help will be appreciated

Hi there,
I bought Huawei G750-U10 Build 119B and rooted it.
However, several ways to try to upgrade it to KitKat have failed.
If anybody succeeded to do this, would you please post an explanation on how to do it?
Before all the complaints come - I have spent hours and hours trying to combine instructions for U10 112B and T00 Versions of the same smartphone and although I got root which is recognized by all root checkers and MTKDroidTool2.5.3 and made IMEI NVRAM backup -
and am able to come to recovery (CWM) - I am not able to upgrade to KitKat because the device tells me that it is not upgreadable.
And I can not believe that there is nobody out there who was not able to solve this problem.
Thanks for any and all help you can give me.

Have any of you guys found a reliable way to do this yet? Most of the links or guides I've seen on this so far seem a little be hand wavey in one way or another.
Also, you used kingo root to root it? It wouldn't work when I downloaded the apk, did you have to download it to your desktop?

Did you get it to work with google play? WHat ROM did you use, I'm unsure if I should use the GR3 (model TAG-L--) or the TIT-AL00 ROM.

Did you manage to get it working with google services?
I'm guessing the guys in this thread have either sorted the problem or no longer need the solution. However, if anyone else is in the same position, I'm just updating to let you know that I (with a lot of help from a friend) have got google play services installed and working on my phone. We used a combination of this thread which is the same process, but the device here is slightly different (TIT, not TAG) and therefore the CWM recovery file never worked on my phone. So using this thread, we were able to find the download TWRP instead (it links to another thread where you can download TWRP).
The entire process if fairly simple.
The hardest part for me was getting the bootloader code. I needed to contact Huawei consumer services (one of the European offices) and explain I needed the code. They told me I needed to contact the Chinese consumer services as that's where I bought the phone, they spoken very little English so it went nowhere fast. I contacted the same European office again and explained I cannot get the code via typing my info into the unlocker webpage, nor through the Chinese office. So they managed to get back to me after a day or so with the code (I needed to send a screenshot of the unlocker page failing to give me the code, along with the other phone info the unlocker page asks for).
Once you have that, just follow the guide for the TIT-AL00 (but with the TWRP recovery linked above). You don't need to root the device if you just want GAPPs. I have the device working with all the google apps etc, and didn't need root access.

I don't have this device but, your situation requires Rooting your device in order to remove (aka Debloat) any system apps from a device.
You may be able to obtain some member guidance within one of the following threads that's specific to your device.

Me too! I'm going to try and contact the Devs for twrp or Cwm and see if I can get a source code. Might be able to compile it myself for us when I get to my desktop. Is there support for lineage yet?
Your devices are AL/TL or LX1/LX2/LX3?

Fla-lx1. I've been actively looking for a way to root it safely, as huawei is going to stop unlocking bootloaders in less than 2 months. I did find a way to root it on a russian site, but i don't trust it.
I'd appreciate any development or help! thank you.

You're not with lucky, FLA-AL have 4 different Firmware releases so far and FLA-LX# have zero !
Without firmware released for your device you don't have a starting point.
@HatemB
what's your build ?
Example : Huawei P20L - ANE-LX1 8.0.0.126(C432)
Huawei Y9 - FLA-LX2 8.0.0.121 (C636)
@RememberZ
Only for FLA-AL or FLA-TL Firmware find with FirmwareFinder.
You need for your Device FULL-Update. Without FULL-Update it's very danger to flash anything.
If after flashing 1 error in phone - you have NO chance for self-repair !
@JamesBott
It's fla-lx1c185. I will wait in order to have a safer rooting process. But I do have a related question. I unlocked the bootloader, with no other modification. Will i receive updates normally? OTA and such.
@HatemB
if stock-rom installed OTA-Updates incomming "normaly" and you can install.
Only "point of attention" is : OTA-Updates need stock-recovery for install, not work with TWRP. That's all.
Bootloader unlockt OR lockt is the same : no differences for install.
i have Bootloader unlockt, TWRP installed, OTA-Updates incomming, i am copy Update to external-sd, flash stock-recovery and install the update. Thats work.
Me too need root and twrp
Actually, since Huawei is no longer providing Unlock Codes, it's almost impossible to find a solution. There's a chance with DC-Unlocker which calculates the Bootloader Unlock Code for 5 Euros or so. I was Asked for 20€ for the same service.
I have purchased a 10.or G2 (6gb ram / 64gb).
This is on Android 8.1.0 & the last security update was 1st April 2019. -This means the software version is nearly 1 year only now.
I wrote to them & below is their reply
"Greetings from 10.or!

Heelo sir/mam please upload android 10 custom rom for tenor g2. All my friends are using nd enjoying android 10 features and i am stuck with android 8.1.0 please help me out i am unable to find any updates regarding tenor g2 anywhere please help.
It supports Treble so you can try flashing GSIs/SemiGSIs from fastboot.
Check if you are able to unlock it's bootloader
You can patch boot.img using magisk manager and can flash it using fastboot if your bootloader is unlocked
