Hi,
Could someone who has a Stratos or knows what they can do help me answer these?
1. Can the Stratos sync data with 3rd party apps like Google Fit and Strava?
2. Can it do this automatically? I mean do I have to go into the app every day to manually sync or if I record a GPS based activity on Day 1 and don't open the app till Day 5 will data from days 1-5 all be available to view (and synced to Google Fit/Strava)?
Thanks hope that is clear?

1. Yes, with Strava
2. Yes, turn on Auto Upload (Common menu)

I am not sure I am posting in the proper place. I have a Gear Fit S2 that I use daily for workouts. I have used since August without issue. In November, the S Health app has stopped uploading to Strava. Strava says it is not them. Samsung says it is probably an update issue and I should wait a few months to see if it fixes itself. SERIOUSLY? Any help is appreciated. My Polar and Garmin upload to Strava without a problem.
I sync to Strava as well with my last run on Jan 9th successfully importing.
Strava recalcs the data and it never matches S-Health, but I've gotten used to it.
I was having the same problem recently. Thanks to a post on reddit from a year ago, found a solution.
Clear the cache on the S Health app, force stop, then reopen. Sync'd my ride (map, elevation, speed, HR) within 30 seconds from doing that.
I posted this a few weeks ago

A quick search for Strava would have found this.
Your original post:
"Have now managed to fix this problem with the following steps:
1. Clear cache for the Samsung Gear Fit app.
2. Clear data.
3. Force stop.
4. Re-pair Gear Fit 2 with the app again.
5. Re-enable GPS on the Gear Fit 2.
This appears to have resolved my issues and I have used it twice since i did this."
This doesn't work for me. Previously, I found that uninstalling the updates in the Samsung HEALTH (not Gear) app would get it speaking to Strava again, but this resets all the app's settings which is very annoying if you use the app a lot like I do. If you're going to try this, don't forget to sync your Samsung data first.
I'm finding that my morning rides are syncing to Strava immediately, but my evening rides, after 5pm (GMT) don't sync until precisely midnight. This makes me thing Strava is restricting Samsung's access to its API somehow.
google/facebook login
In my case I am using a gear S3 with S health.
Have tried the steps above but nothing changed.
Now I changed login method from "use google account" to the regular strava login with mail and password.
Seems to work now!
Had to delete the pairing between strava and s health and pair them again by using the regular login method.
PS: If you dont have a password at strava because you used the google/facebook login:
Logout, click the "regular" login button and try the "forgot password" link with your google/facebook email adress to create one.
Edit: Seems that it works better then with the google login, means the activities are uploaded to strava. Sadly they are sometimes uploaded with great delay, often at the next morning.
How did you unpair s health and strava thanks
How did you unpair s health and strava thanks
I am using the german translation, so maybe the steps are called slightly different in the english app then my suggestions:
Open the s health app on your phone.
Go to settings -> connected services.
Strava should be marked with a green dot.
Click on strava. The pairing should be gone (the dot is grey now).
Maybe there is a security question if you are really sure to unpair...
I'm coming from a Garmin Device where "Garmin Connect" elegantly takes my run activities, and my steps taken and imports them into MyFitness Pal so I can get a tally of how many calories I need to replace on a given day. This is a handy tool for me as I'm quite active and rely on this as part of my training plan.
So far I'm struggling to make this happen on my Amazfit Stratos Here's what I've done so far:
-Installed "Amazfit Watch" app on android and Sync'd to Strava
-Strava Sync'd to Google Fit
-Installed "Mifit" app on android and Sync'd it to Google Fit.
-Linked "Google Fit" to MyFitness Pal
-Turned off "auto detect workout" on google fit to eliminate the random "run" and "walk" activities that never happened from my phone.
This appears to be working almost exactly as I had hoped. However, the one major issue is that google fit and MiFit are not syncing step counts. So If I go for a run, and only have my watch with me with no phone the step data in google fit is wildly off. Yesterday my Amazfit Stratos tracked 15,000 steps and one run. Google Fit only showed 2200 steps (the time I had my phone with me before/after I ran).
Is there any way to get MiFit and Google Fit to sync step counts? Better yet, is there a better way to get step data into MyFitness Pal?
Take a look at fitnesssyncer.com
Should be able to do what you want

My stratos Syncs with MiFit just fine. It just doesn't transfer the Steps over to Google Fit and there's no way to link MiFit directly to MyFitness Pal.

Hi guys, i have problem with syncing my activities from amazfit watches app to strava. In amazft watches app a i have added my strava account, so i could sync them. Syncing ends well, but no activity appears on strava(activities are with gps coordinates, such as cycling and running). Can you hepl me solve this problem? Thanks
Amazfit Watch app version 2.5.0.1
Strava version 52.0.0
Watches ROM version 2.0.24.0
Logout from Amazfit app, go to Strava website, Settings -> My Apps, revoke access to Amazfit. Then login back to Amazfit, your watch should be paired automatically, then add your Strava account again. If it doesn't work, then you may need to do this again but unpair the watch first (it will erase all data on watch) and answer NO when it asks if you want to restore old data to watch. Note that only new activities will be sent to Strava, old ones only manually.

If you have revoked Amazfit access to Strava as explained and then activated it again, probably it's a problem with Huami servers and it should be fixed in one day or two (sync is done via the cloud, not the phone as most people think). Be aware that old activities, saved before you activated sync, won't be sent to Strava, you must do it manually by exporting them as GPX on watch, copying them to computer and finally importing to Strava website.
How to send send data in GPX format from watch to phone? And where to find it on the phone?

how do you get it working ?
Did you find it?
I have a problem with syncing steps to the iOS Health app. It seems that the Health app is prioritizing the steps from the iPhone and not the Bip.
I tried delete the iPhone step data from the health app and then sync Mifit and then the Bip data is presented correctly. Just like I want. But I don't want to delete iPhone steps every day.
Any ideas?

I solved it. If I go in to the healt app > steps today > sources. Select 'change' and I can drag the Mifit app to the top of the sources and that's it. Works fine!
For a long time now, after upgrading to the Zepp app, I have a problem syncing my Stratos 2 watch. The app is endlessly syncing without ever completing synchronization. This might take half an hour, so I close the app. Sometimes, I try to close the app and relaunch it, but with no success. Once in a while, the synchronization is successful. This may happen once in a week. that is 1 out of 10-15 tries.
Has anyone else a similar experience with the new Zepp app?
Also, what I have noticed is that, after a sync, my settings regarding on the various sports have changed to the default values, so I have to do the settings all over again. That's very frustrating.
Sync on your Stratos 2, it's more reliable
Yeah, Zepp syncs hit-or-miss style here.
What I do is turn bluetooth and GPS on on my phone, start Zepp, then use the Sync option on my Stratos 2 - using wifi it syncs 100% of the time; it's pretty slow, but under like 90 seconds everything's uploaded to the Zepp server (so to my Strava account too).

Thank you for your advice. Yes, it's working all the time and it's much quicker than the Zepp sync.
Meanwhile, I had sent a question to Amazfit Support and I got the following reply, if that is any worthwhile:
>Thank you for contacting Amazfit/Zepp.
>
>Regarding the syncing issue, could you please reboot your watch and phone to have a try?

>If it doesn't work, please attempt the following steps:
>* Swipe down from the watch home screen and you can see a nut icon Settings
>* Tap Settings to open.
>* Swipe UP until you find Data Sync
>* Tap Data Sync and choose Manual Sync to upload the watch data
>* Reinstall the latest Zepp app
>* Reboot your phone and your watch
>* Clear Bluetooth cache and data
>* Turn off and on the Bluetooth on your phone
>* Log out of the app and re-login to connect/sync the data
