Unfortunately I have uninstalled the preinstalled Huawei E-Mail app from my Huawei MediaTab M5. I could make a factory reset to get the app but I don't want to do that because I have spent lots of hours to setup the tablet.
Can anyone post the apk-file for me? That would be great!
Is there a way to get it without root mate because I haven't rooted yet

I have no root, too. It's no problem to save any apk-file. You can install Super Manager from Play Store to do that. In Super Manager you must switch to page 2 "APK Manager", there you tap on "APK Manager". Now you can scroll down and look for the E-Mail app or you tap on the three dots on the top right and the on app search. With the search string mail you will find the app. Now tap on the app and tap on bAPK, then on original name and the file is now in the folder Super Manager -> MyAPKs
This is probably what you're looking for.
Thank you very much!

I have a NookColor with Zeam Launcher, Go Launcher EX and ADW Launcher installed. There are quite a few apps that I have tried to install, but always get the "app not installed error message" Not sure what I need to do to get around this. Please help.
Thanks
if you are installing them from the market, you may want to try this:
go to setting / applications / manage applications / market / and then clear the cache and data.
if you are trying to side load an apk make sure you have "allow mock locations" checked.
not sure where to find allow mock locations setting.

I believe he means the "allow unknown/outside install" tab in the settings menu, under "applications". Tick that so it allows any apk to be installed on the Nook.
Yes, you can install the amazon app store - go through the sign up procedure on the amazon website to receive an email with the download link included. Once you have that, open the email up through the browser on your Nook, click on the link, and you're on your way.
If none of the above work, install ROM Manager and then use its Fix Permissions option.

So I use the Amazon app store and GetJar for free 'paid' apps. Some of these apps are showing up in "My Library" on my Google Android Market account. Is there a way to remove them from the Android Market account?
One recent problem is Wave Launcher which used to be free on GetJar. I don't see it listed anymore on GetJar and I can't even buy it from the Android Market since it thinks it's already purchased (but declines the 'install' saying it's not purchased). A 'delete' button like in the Amazon app store library would solve all of this...
Short of changing google accounts, I don't see any options on how to fix this. Anyone have any ideas? The problem is on my market library, not my phone (I know how to remove market links, etc.). Thanks.
I to have this problem its very annoying their has to be a way to clean it up.
I actually used the 'report' app function on the google market and got a reply back. They have "forwarded your case to a specialist to begin working to resolve your issue as soon as possible". We'll see what comes of it. Amazon's app store has a simple delete button in that library. It doesn't seem like that would be too hard to implement.
did you ever get a reply for this?
would love to be able to remove all the apps i just simply try for the sake of testing and i want them gone.....
listen to your users G!
I believe Titanium Backup can do this if you are rooted.

You can "fix" market links with it by long pressing on the app in question.

On the website I don't see an option, but it is possible on your phone.
I am not sure if all versions of the play store have this option (I am using Jelly Bean 4.1.2):
When I open the play store on my phone I can remove previous installed apps from the list.
Go to: Play Store > My Apps > All
There you can remove an app by tapping the Ø icon

Yeahp. It works.
I deleted some yesterday on my mobile, but they were still on my web "Other apps in my library".
Today, I deleted some again and reloaded the webpage. They disappeared.
Thanks for the tip.
Ok, maybe it needs some time to sync. Great it works!

I have this issue as well--phone app has no provision for deleting the apps, on JB ROM.
Hi guys,
I was wondering if it is possible to add an app which is not listed after choosing a file i wanna open. I want to open a video with videoshop to edit it, because the in-app gallery is awful. It just shows all videos not sorted by name or date or folder so i would like to add videoshop to optional apps for opening videos from my normal gallery.
On a windows pc it's easy by rightclick and ''open file aa'' and then you have suggested apps and then the option to browse the pc for other apps. There must be a way to do that on miui too
Try installing this app.
It worked for me on a smarthone with kitkat, not sure if it's working with lollipop.
Thanks but this app doesn't solve my problem. I tried it and it only resets the default app after having chosen a default app before.
But I want to add an app to the offered apps to open it. I don't have chosen a default app to open videos. And when i click on a video and get asked, with which app i would like to open it then the app i want to use is not listed. I simply want to be a able to choose another app.
Isn't there any option, app or xposed module to do it?
Try "Amaze File Manager" from the Play Store.

Navigate to the file you want to open, and tap on it. You will get your options there.
I am considering buying a Samsung Chromebook 3 which based on the following link can support Android apps. Now, the issue is that it says that one must do a file system or profile migration in order to support the apps. However, I cannot find any information on how to do this migration. Google has instructions for Education and Enterprise customers but nothing for regular consumer.
How do I do this? I, of course, Googled how to do this and I end up with nothing. I need to know how I can install the Google Play store and run Android apps. I have instructions on how to install Google Play but nothing on the migration that according to Google is required.
Please help!
I have a Chromebook 3 and am running Android apps with no issue. It's fairly simple to do and now only requires the steps here: https://www.laptopmag.com/articles/get-android-apps-on-your-chromebook in a nutshell, this simply involves first open settings -> select about > under or around the "check for updates" button, click the "More info" link. An option will be presented to change to the beta channel. Select that and wait for the update to download and install (in my experience, the beta channel is way better than the stable channel anyway). After you restart, go right back to Settings, and scroll down until you see the checkbox for enabling the Google Play Store. Agree and sign in using your Google account. That's it. I've enjoyed using many Play Store apps seamlessly on the Samsung Chromebook 3.
Solution found
After half an hour on Google chat and Asus I got an answer. Very simple.
1) Click on your user picture in the lower right
2) Click the Settings cog
3) Scroll down to the easily missed "google play store" section. It's the seventh section down on mine and is only a single line section.
4) Click on "turn on"
Then just wait for it to do it's thing. It will take a minute or two and then will launch the Google Play Store app. Mine came up and said it wasn't responding but I clicked on "wait" and it popped up about 5 seconds later. I was able to install 2 "android" apps right off the bat. Super easy and quick. I hope this helps others searching for this answer.
Incidentally...if you don't have a touch screen Chromebook it seems that the arrow keys do your swyping for you in android apps. Kind of counter-intuitive though...I had to use the right arrow to "swype" LEFT. But it wasn't too difficult to figure out.
Accidentally deleted default weather app of my Mate 20 pro and now cant find it anywhere. Can somebody send me because dont want to use Factory reset. With APK extractor from play store you can find weather app and send it.Thanks and happy holidays

I am a bit late but hope this helps. you dont need an apk just download it from the app gallery. app gallery > manager > installation manager and just keep scrolling until you find it. thats where I retrieved mine.

Thought you'd cracked it there, but unfortunately it doesn't appear in my list :-/ Been using weawow instead - until Huawei decide to reinstate the app in the app gallery
It's not that important, it's not a system app which is why you can uninstall it in the first place, also there are much better weather apps on the play store.
Try ADB
adb shell cmd package install-existing com.huawei.totemweather
