Happy holidays too !
Im receiving signature error when im trying to install this apk
I am a bit late but hope this helps. you dont need an apk just download it from the app gallery. app gallery > manager > installation manager and just keep scrolling until you find it. thats where I retrieved mine.

Thought you'd cracked it there, but unfortunately it doesn't appear in my list :-/ Been using weawow instead - until Huawei decide to reinstate the app in the app gallery
It's not that important, it's not a system app which is why you can uninstall it in the first place, also there are much better weather apps on the play store.
Try ADB
adb shell cmd package install-existing com.huawei.totemweather
Sent from my HUAWEI LYA-L09 using XDA Labs
This one has worked for my Honor 10 COL-29

Hi. I am hoping someone can help. At some point I added a swipe to answer app or APK. Anytime I get a call, the app over rides the stock answer method. I need to remove this app as it's not working well, but cannot seem to find this app anywhere. Anyone know how to have the stock answer swipe back? Do I need to reinstall an APK?
Thanks for the help.

The first thing we need is a little more info. Is the device rooted? Was it an app from the Play store or is it an APK that you pushed on through a file manager? Do you remember name of the app or APK? You might try going to settings/general/application manager/all applications and disable it there.

I believe it was an APK. It is nowhere to be found in my applications. I reset my default app presences and that made it go away, but is now popping up again. My phone is not rooted. Thanks for the help.

If you're sure it's an apk that you installed, you should be able to find the apk easily in an App Manager type program. I'd honestly recommend Titanium Backup for this, but it requires Root, so it's not an option for you. I tested out Android App Manager, and it should work for you. You can find any installed apks with this app. I'd uninstall it once you're done, as it has a persistent notification, but it should be able to find any installed apks.
Hope this helps
I recently installed the "Secret Phone" trial app from play store. Im not able to uninstall the app from anywhere. The app is not listed in the app settings section. Not even in other uninstalling apps also.
Can you tell me how to remove it

If it's not listed in app list then it is not installed

Hi,
The app is installed. Im able to open it. But the app is not listed, because that is a functionality of the application.
As stated in play store
"Its completely hidden in every way, there will be no icon in your application list and no trace of this app ever being opened. Complete stealth!"
Now I dont want a phantom app running in my phone. So please help me remove the application

Found it.
The app wont be listed in the Settings->apps
Instead we need to go to My apps in Play store. From there Im able to uninstall the application.
Thanks all.
Hi guys,
I was wondering if it is possible to add an app which is not listed after choosing a file i wanna open. I want to open a video with videoshop to edit it, because the in-app gallery is awful. It just shows all videos not sorted by name or date or folder so i would like to add videoshop to optional apps for opening videos from my normal gallery.
On a windows pc it's easy by rightclick and ''open file aa'' and then you have suggested apps and then the option to browse the pc for other apps. There must be a way to do that on miui too
Try installing this app.
It worked for me on a smarthone with kitkat, not sure if it's working with lollipop.
Thanks but this app doesn't solve my problem. I tried it and it only resets the default app after having chosen a default app before.
But I want to add an app to the offered apps to open it. I don't have chosen a default app to open videos. And when i click on a video and get asked, with which app i would like to open it then the app i want to use is not listed. I simply want to be a able to choose another app.
Isn't there any option, app or xposed module to do it?
Try "Amaze File Manager" from the Play Store.

Navigate to the file you want to open, and tap on it. You will get your options there.
In my Play Store app, it says that the Quik app needs to be updated, but I could not find this app in the drawer, where is this app coming from?
I think it is the photo editor app.
I even do not know it is in my phone until I got the update notice since I cannot find it in the app drawer. How can I launch it? Is this the gallery app uses for editing?
This App can be found under the system processes where you can seel all the system Apps. It's safe to just deactivate or delete the App.
By all accounts it was a forceful update in error according to Huawei. They claimed the Quik app was pushed out in error and via their servers and was ment for a select number of devices. Honor 8 was not supposed to receive such update or file. The Quik app ment to show up within the photo gallery menu..
It's safe to Uninstall

I lunched it from play store to see what it is, then I deleted it. It's a Go pro app to edited video.
It is included in every version since B389, more or less.
Quik is kinda video editing tool and come by default on L04 US variant of Honor 8
Unfortunately I have uninstalled the preinstalled Huawei E-Mail app from my Huawei MediaTab M5. I could make a factory reset to get the app but I don't want to do that because I have spent lots of hours to setup the tablet.
Can anyone post the apk-file for me? That would be great!
Is there a way to get it without root mate because I haven't rooted yet
Sent from my ASUS_Z012DA using Tapatalk
I have no root, too. It's no problem to save any apk-file. You can install Super Manager from Play Store to do that. In Super Manager you must switch to page 2 "APK Manager", there you tap on "APK Manager". Now you can scroll down and look for the E-Mail app or you tap on the three dots on the top right and the on app search. With the search string mail you will find the app. Now tap on the app and tap on bAPK, then on original name and the file is now in the folder Super Manager -> MyAPKs
This is probably what you're looking for.
Thank you very much!
