Hi everyone,
I saw a post in which there were talking about changing the s6 battery by a s7 battery.
Do you know if we can change the s6 edge battery by a s7? The s7 battery has a better capacity and it will be great to have a better battery.
After checking the different battery, i think that it's not possible. people who have a S6 are lucky because they can swap their battery with the s7 edge battery.
I'm trying to found a better battery for the S6 edge ....

I've been reading lot of about this battery from the other S2 forum. It seems nice but I have yet to seen the battery with nfc support. Our ATT S2 has battery with NFC.
This seems like perfect size. Increasing the size of battery without adding too much bulk. it would make the phone flushed.
Does any one here know, if these battery would work on our S2? I found a 2000mah battery with NFC support in korea. However, lot of people are saying that battery fits, but the back cover does not.

Yes, I mistakenly bought the NFC battery for my international S2 and the battery does fit but the cover does not. I have the mesh case over the phone without a cover and it works fine.
I just ordered another battery with the right case. I think it look better that way.
The question is do the other battery covers fit and work with the 2000 mah battery with nfc.
I voided my warranty and your mum.
After seeing the coverage of Galaxy Note 5 and Galaxy S6 Edge+, the most impressive feature seems to be fast wireless charging. Can anyone give information whether Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 Edge too support fast wireless charging? Since these are based on same chipset, it does seems logical that there is some sort of support in these phones too. What do you think?
I may be wrong, but I did not see anything that supports fast wireless charging.

From what I can see fast wireless charging is only available on the Note 5 and the S6 Edge+

The fast wireless charger is compatible with the S6 and S6E though the site suggests that it won't charge any faster than a standard Qi charger. So basically, save your money and buy a cheaper standard wireless charger because it won't make a difference unless you have the Note 5 or the S6 Edge+
FWIW the "fast" wireless charger doesn't yet seem all that fast as it's only 1.4x as fast as a normal wireless charger. In other words a more truthful product name would've been "less slow wireless charger" but that doesn't have the same appeal
Fast wireless charging is still 120 minutes that your device has to be in contact with the wireless base. Semantic arguments would better label it 'faster' wireless charging than 'FAST' wireless charging

Am I the only one pissed that they just forgot to implement the wireless fast charge on our Galaxy S6 Edge phones and decided to put it on the New Edge+/Note phones? I think it's evident now that it's not new technology if it only took them 4 months between the releases to make it happen! Wouldn't be surprised if we don't get the new Quick Apps feature that the new phones are getting when I'm sure all it takes is a simple update!
Other than battery life I love my Galaxy S6 Edge phone but the stuff Samsung pulls is getting ridiculous. I don't blame others for wanting to leave them!

I also enjoy my S6E but Samsung are loosing their edge despite creating one.
They are Loco in thinking Europe will just jump on the S6E plus by the Marketing of Bigger equals better.
Sorry Samsung the S6e is very much suitable and I don't think that extra few mah is going to make the world of difference.
We already have a port of the features so what else does it the plus have over the S6e bar an extra 1gb of ram and 5.7" screen?
Oh I left out faster wireless charging but we have fast charging and I use my wireless charging overnight so hmmm not alot done.
Perhaps this is the rubbish as a turnaround and new direction which end result might be good. As it stands now, all that is achieved as good the S6e+ and Note 5 is Alienating alot of users.
With other OEM's producing great phones likes of xaimoi spelled that wrong but you get it I'm sure lol and others then its going to get very tough indeed.
Look at the Moto X pure/style wow value for cash and its Moto maker now that is something.
I checked it out well the X play and designed to my liking and embossed quote or whatever you like and 32gb memory the total was just over £300
Compare that to the £849 S6e plus and that was 64gb obviously non expandable.
The battle is on and Samsung is not apple. We all know Apple retains a high price wherin the Note 5 and the S6E plus will be worth £400 and declining after just mere months.
Samsung you ain't apple and you'll never be.
Wake up smell the instant coffee and get a grip lol
Hi,
I am currently on marshmallow 6.0.1 S925I Galaxy S6 Edge. This is a international unlocked phone used for Tmobile. Attached is a screenshot of remaining time left on battery at 100% charge. Does anyone's s6 edge phone showing more than 10 hours at 100% charge? If so can you direct me on some things I can do to improve my battery life. I feel like the remaining time should be more in the 17-24 hr range. This time was done after a factory reset from lollipop.
can someone please help me with this? Thanks.
S6 edge has battery issue as it having only 2600 mah battery.
6 hours maximum on wifi usage.
Its problem with every s6 edge
It's not really a problem for everyone else Sam, to get the most out of your battery I use Greenify (xposed module, with aggressive doze enabled), Also in conjunction with DS Battery Saver (selecting what profile for given situation ie: @work switching on Agressive mode).
Also down tuning CPU and GPU with custom kernels make all the difference. Plus using dark themed apps also saves huge power consumption.
My stats
Mines says the same thing. Even before the marshmallow update. It can last more than that but it's really how much you use your phone. Heavy usage I get about 3 hrs on screen time but if its moderate or light use can get up to 4/4.5 hrs on screen time. Which is pretty good.
dear i need baatery for alpha
can i replace battery with other samsung model like note 3 or etc
pls let me if available 2500mah battery anywhere in india
Just buy it on amazon, it's simple
The 2500mah battery is out of production. So if you want the original samsung battery you might buy the 1860mah battery
