Just got my Amazfit Bip and the Touch is broken. - Amazfit

Paired it with my phone, it got all the updates.
When I try to scroll it just clicks, sometimes it scrolls but then it scrolls 4 pages and starts clicking as soon as I touch the watchface it seems like it's registering 1000 clicks and swipes. Unusable.
Really hope there's a fix becuase 40 days delivery time Is not fun if I have to return this...

Very slow in landscape

my TP is extremely slow only in landscape. the touch flow on the internet is fine, loading speed, ect. but when srolling through emails there is a tremendous amount of lag. there is probably a 1-3 second difference between when i press the down arrow to when the highlight moves from one email to the next
and text input is the worst! sometimes i have to wait 5-10 seconds for the text to catch up with me.
is this common? is there a fix?

Happened to me last night. I erased my entire outlook from all messages and it worked fine after that. I think the main cause was an influx of picture mail. It seemed to speed up after that but I went ahead and just erased everything then did a soft reset.

another way to freeze your Mozart

1. set an alarm time at 7:00 am or whatever time in the morning at night before you go to bed.
2. when the alarm set off at the set time, do not touch it until a quite long time later, let's say, 9:00am.
3. then start the phone, try to slide the hood up using your finger. you can move it up, however it can sometimes only moves to halfway of the screen or completely. but either way, then you get it frozen there.
4. to use the phone you have to switch it off and restart it again although luckily WP7 starts up quite faster than those using WM6.5.
ps: in my case, i set the alarm at 8:30 am, but i didn't do anything when it alarmed until it became quiet itself. when i tried to use it at about 10:00am, it froze. until it happened to me quite a few times i realised that it could be a bug of it. it happens even after i did the hard reset.
by the way the ROM is from Orange, UK.
same here, every morning the alarm does not wake me up then when i wake up at look at the phone its frozen. and im guessing if i call orange they will ask me to hard reset the phone, lose all my settings and apps ( thatn sounds so iphone,....apps) for the problem to continue!!!! any one else want a rant about this problem.

Please try to do the same as i said using only one alarm time in my post instead of three times. And if interested, try the procedures in http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=845321, too. Many thanks.
Actually: here's my whole story... kind of a lil different experience for me...
Scenario 1:
Created three alarms, each one 15 minutes apart... they helped me in walking up and i would click the dismiss button and such... but most of the time, even though the phone worked without any problems, NO AUDIO! Even when i played any song on the phone or got a call or anything... Plus, the Power button only unlocked but never shut-down the phone so had to take out the battery to reset... A few times though it wasn't frozen but while unlocking or going into a hub or something, it would end up freezing.
Scenario 2:
Disabled one of the alarms and by the time i wake up, i usually find the phone frozen and unresponsive... Sometimes it would work but same problem as before, no audio at all....
Scenario 3:
Only one alarm enabled now every noon ('coz i wake up at 1:00 PM), i always find the phone frozen and have to reset...!
Scenario 4:
No Alarms enabled! Phone works SUPER DUPER FRICKIN' AWESOME!!!! Well the only time i usually do end up resetting is when Marketplace crashes out on me and doesn't start back up (which has really happened only once in a while)

Call me crazy but despite this annoying bug i'm really loving my Mozart!
Not sure if this is a HTC issue (most-likely) but I do hope that these issues are ironed out in the January/February updates!!! Keeping my fingers crossed...

I've two ararlms, set 3 min apart. if i dimiss the first alarm before the second goes off, all works fine. but if the first is not dismissed then after the second alarm i need to restart the Mozart.
Agree with others that despite all these annoying things Mozart is a great device. I wish Microsoft releases the next update asap.
Similar problems here since day 1. My issue though was caused by hitting the snooze button each time the alarm went off (instead of actually getting out or bed or hitting the dismiss button).
After about half dozen "snoozes" the phone hangs and needs the battery removed (power button will not turn the device off, screen unresponsive to touch input, only the screen can be turned on and off with the power button).
Has anyone tried to replicate the issue with "vibrate" turned off under "ringtones & sounds" settings? I've turned this off which solved some occasional sound stuttering when receiving emails or sms, and I can't say that I've noticed this alarm bug since.
Maybe worth a try?

Reading this really makes me wonder, whether there was a decent Q&A involved...
Especially, since the WP7 runs way better than WM6 (or 6.1 or 6.5) - but fails in seemingly small applications.
(My problem regarding the jump-to-letter feature in the Zune application is purely based on the German language -.- . I've set my Mozart to English - just to try it - and suddenly the letters appear correctly and allow me to jump directly to a letter (like in the contacts) in the Zune application. If the language is set to German, all letters are grey and only the "#" is active...)
I really hope that these bugs will be fixed in the next update.
(Additionally, my phone has not crashed since I stopped using the alarm clock)

If you don't dismiss your alarm, phone freezes when the next alarm goes.

I'm using my mozart every morning as an alarm clock - no problems until now. But normally I wake up and hit "dismiss".

Notifications on Pace badly delayed

My Pace started to baaadly delay notifications It started about 2-3 weeks ago, it's irregular, about 1/3 notifications does not goes in-time. Delay is sometimes 10sec, sometimes 40 seconds or even a few minutes! The most annoying thing is that sometimes I have a call (not notified on Pace), I pickup, end it in 20 seconds, put my mobile on desk and...bam! - notification on Pace pops out. Very annoying.
I did a factory reset after WOS installed, nothing helped. I enabled screen-on if notification arrived on mobile, still no-go. Do you have any idea what's wrong with my setup?
I'm using Huawei Mate 9 EMUI 5 Nougat, Watch App v2.3.0/v2.3.2, Amazfit Pacefied rel 39 (v1.2.51) and WOS 2.6.0.12

Thanks for tips, but unfortunately does not help at all :/ It looks like watch app service is delayed somehow....
Are you sure that Amazfit app is not being killed while it's in background? Some phones have strict settings that would kill non system apps in background to save battery, even disable Bluetooth. Unless the watch has a Bluetooth problem, the culprit is the phone. Can you pair the watch to other phone for tests? Did you change anything on your phone at the time the notifications started to lag?

I have a small problem and I really welcome any suggestions! When I try to sync a new watch face (either mi fit or gearbest) it takes sometimes 3-5 minutes and even only takes it once out of 3-4 tries. I 'fixed' it somehow by turning off and back on the Bluetooth connection and right after connecting, the watchface sync takes about 10 secs (waaaaay better) but as soon as i try another one it goes back to slow sync. Although my temporary fix (on/off BT) speeds up the sync it takes about a minute or 2 to disconnect and recconect with the device, so it's not really a fix that i can rely upon. I have an older ver of Android 4.4.2 but don't think that's the problem. I forgot to mention that same thing happens with big files (like 30-40k .bin) or small ones (15-20k), so I don't think is the filesize.
How long it takes the sync for you guys?

Have to reboot it to sync. I let it go by itself but after 15 minutes, I did reboot. Also have to reboot if I lose Bluetooth connection. My wife bought me this watch thinking it would save money from the Apple Watch I wanted. Very clunky and too much time spent for such a simple data gathering. This was a bad purchase.
I use the Notify & Fitness app and loading a watchface takes just 10 - 30 seconds, depending on the size of the file.
I can load watchfaces without having to reset Bluetooth. The app requires Android 4.3+, so it should work for you.

Amazfit GTR - screen doesn't turn off - bug

Okay, so I got this error a few times now and I'm wondering if anyone is facing this issue. Basically, what happens, I get a notification that goes something like this (not exactly):
"Unable to sync data to the device. Please update the app to the latest version and try again"
An icon is also presented, it's a phone that shows a little upward pointing arrow
This is more like a system message on the watch (I can dismiss it on the watch screen) so it's not really a notification from the phone but more like something that the watch sends to the screen internally. Kind of..? I'm not sure about that.
And after that, the screen is stuck. More precisely, the timeout never happens. I can operate the watch, go to the menu, do everything I did before so it does not freeze. But my timeout is set to 7 secs but after that nothing happens. If I press the red button and "close" the watch manually, the screen turns off. But if I get a notification, lift my wrist or turn the screen on with the red button the screen is stuck again in "always-on" mode.
The only thing that solves the issue is a reboot. I had to do this a few times in the past 2 weeks or so and it's super annoying.
Anyone has experience regarding this or has any idea what might be going on? It usually comes out of the blue every single time, the app even says the watch is connected and the icon on the watch is also telling me that the watch is connected...
I have the latest app firmware 1.3.7.16 (no update available), GTR 1. 47mm, bought it like a month ago, no issues so far. Android 10 running latest emui on a Huawei Mate 10 Pro.

I Have the same Bug it Happens very Random sometimes after 2 weeks or 4 Times a day. I have no clou what the problem is the Zepp App and the Watch are Up to Date and the rest works Fine.
Im using a MI 9T Pro with Android 10 and MIUI 12 EU Version.
I wonder that its says something about the App but it works well the Sync the Watchfaces no Problem at all

I contacted amazfit support both via the app and the online support page regarding this. I received a reply fairly quickly in about two days. They told me (and anyone having this issue) to make screenshots/video about the exact behavior and send them so they can look at this issue and possibly fix it in the upcoming updates.
