I'm interested in the project but can't seem to get it working... Has anyone had any luck? (Xposed just bootloops) https://forum.xda-developers.com/android/apps-games/app-microg-gmscore-floss-play-services-t3217616
So far I found what's needed is, since no Xposed ???
-deodex rom
-signature spoofing
Found a way I posed in the guide section

Well, it might be noob in this forum section, but hey! Give me the opportunity to share what I'm thinking of:
- Pure AOSP 4.4.2 ROM
- Xposed Framework with GravityBox KK and App ops Xposed modules built-in
- ART Runtime is enabled instead of Dalvik
Well, we know that Xposed framework is anti-ART runtime and it reverts the device back to Dalvik. That's what I'm trying to get walkthroughs about:
GravityBox KK for example allows user to enable certain features in a pure AOSP ROMs like battery percentage (for example), I have a set of options (mainly found in my thread here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=49577744 and I want these options to cook it by default in an AOSP 4.4.2 ROM. Would this be possible, in such we can enable ART runtime in the meanwhile the options are pre-installed without the need to have the Xposed framework?
Also, what tools do I need to cook a custom ROM based on AOSP?
Thanks!
On XDA you can find some tutorials how to make a rom for example this one:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1801690
And of course good luck with building a custom rom,it's always nice to see some new roms on our device.
Thanks, what about scripts mods by GravityBox?
okay, i was searching all over the net and didn't find any xposed version that wanted to work on our devices. closest to success was solarwarez xposed for miui tablet. it installed but bootlooped tablet.
there are however xposed installers for 6.0 and 5.0 versions of android but not for 5.1.1., but there is patch on github for x86_64. although i have no idea how patching works, i could try following instructions if somebody knows how patching things works.
that is if anyone is interested in having xposed which would really give our device some life, because there are no custom roms for it.
i tried editing build.prop and added some tweaks. they worked, but that's the extent of my knowledge.
Hello guys n girls how you all doing? OK I hope
Messing around with my firesticks just now and was wondering if any of you know of any decent mods available via magisk or Xposed for lineage Os mod?
I read somewhere that a few of the guys had successfully installed magisk modules on CM 12.1 firestick. However I cannot find the posts to the details of which add-ons people are using in search.
Any help or pointers in the direction of these would be great
Thank you for taking time to read my post. Much appreciated :good:
I want to install crdroid vanilla custom rom. I want to know whether microg is device specified like custom roms. I have a redmi note 10. Is there any specified micro g for redmi note 10 or can i install any mciro g. Also please suggest which is better from microg, nanodroid, nikgapps. I am also curious to know its pros and cons.
crdroid is unfortunately discontinued as vanilla build ( I still wonder why.. ) you better stick with other vanilla ROMs then.
however, getting Signature spoofing working on vanilla LineageOS is currently a mess and very tricky (as long as there is no official microG version), so many ways that worked before don't work anymore. nanodroid isn't working, the spoofing is not working. you have to manually extract framework files, deodex files, repack, upload again etc.. cumbersome.
if you have a vanilla ROM that supports signature spoofing out of the box, the best way seems to be having Magisk and installing the unofficial MinMicroG.zip with it. That was the only option that worked for me now on Android 11.
there is also no device specific MicroG version. To get a working MicroG installation it depends on 2 factors:
1. MicroG itself. the current version is kinda buggy on Android 11
2. the way it is installed and bound into the system (priv-app, userapp, as system installation or magisk module)
both need to work hand in hand, that means there are many combinations available that might work and might not work, and it's changing everyday (like, microg community updates fixes and adjusts the code, then google releases next update and nothing works anymore)
again: if your chosen ROM supports signature spoofing out of the box, installing microG is a piece of cake (if you know the right combinations that currently work, f.i. A11+magisk+minmicrog, or (currently not) nandroid, official microG apks only, etc.)
otherwise it's a lot more difficult, because there is currently nowhere a working one-click-solution to add signature spoofing.
(oh, and that's at least my experience so far, if anybody knows better, feel free correct me or add infos, I'm eager to hear)
Hello, I was wondering if anyone had a working overlay for A13 GSI's on the T220. The one that is merged from the Treble repo doesn't work on the T220 (or at least I can't get it to work). I've also tried a Magisk module that @tom.android made but couldn't get it working either. I've seen a couple threads with a couple screenshots where it looks like there's one floating around that works but the download artifact was not there any more. Thanks all for all you do for the community!
