Hi there
I used to use devine beats previously. That one worked great for me. But unfortunately it doesn't support Oreo. So i tried Ainur Sauron which is good but it lacks control. So what do you suggest?
Is there any way to install dolby & v4a without magisk.
I personally use "Dolby Atmos Oreo unity" it works great. Just flash it in recovery.
I'm on Havoc-Os-8.1 with agni v12.9

These are the best sound mod you will ever listen... Forget dolby or Arise... These work magically... Setup your viper and XtremeMusic Engine app and feel the magic of 32 bit audio... Compare yourself to believe it.
Note- XtremeMusicFx which is based on AM3D Zirene app doesnt runs on some roms, but dont worry that is only 10% of whole sound mod, apart frm it.. everything works like charm.

Add the file into the / folder the root folder of your device. When ainur installs it automatically detects the file andere install the proper drivers.
Hey man, the legend returns to give us even better audio!
Loved your viper work and this is whe even better!
One request - since you're on Ainur now - any chance of a JamesDSP config to replace ViPER. It ties in to Ainur better and is a little easier on battery life. I know you may not get identical config but it would be awesome if you could port as much as possible. Then we can sit entirely in the Ainur camp!
Cheers!
Mind me asking what IEMs/Headphones you are using?
Hi black_file,
From the moment I found out your profile in V4A. It's always my daily profile.
Then, I see this topic, I was like "Wow, cool, I must try this"
I'm using Fiio F5 with your profile. Nice volume scaling, perfect bass (not too much which will cover other sound details, bring out the bass in some songs that my Fiio fails to produce)
I tested with Fiio F5 in-ear, bluetooth speaker, phone speaker (with Stereo Speaker Mod)
I have to say your profile take my experience to a smoother level
Thanks for sharing :good:

Any filemanager or text editor can do that. It's a simple text file
Are you still on Sauron?
Since the JamesDSP version on magisk downloads seems to have more recent updates.
Or doesn't it really matter which version of Ainur it is?

Roflmao,
Sometimes a person should take 15 minutes to just read and do......
Was that much into just tweaking your V4A v2 profile after the Pie update, and refused to taking that extra mod cause of liking the previous.
Damn did I make a fool of myself...
Thnx buddy, my Sony WI-1000X (BT) never sounded this good on any of my favourite songs.. ever...
Time to test my old wired Sennheiser 9xx....

thanks
Hello @black_file,
Could you please re-upload the file.
This thread is missing its core component.
I've just tried your V4P 5.0 profile and it works really well. I'm also very interested in this project but unfortunately the link is dead.
Please re-upload it some time, I really want to try it with V4P. Thanks!
Hey guys!
So I wrote up this post over on the XDA Portal on how to increase the headphone jack volume on the OnePlus 6. I then realised when I updated my device that that change had reset. As a result, I spent a couple of minutes putting together a Magisk module to make that change for you. It works for every OOS version released so far. Just download it below, install it in Magisk and you're good to go! It should work on custom ROMs, but I haven't tried that yet.
Google Drive
I have also made a module which enables acervenky's stereo speaker modification too.
Google Drive
Let me know if there are any issues
Works like a charm!
Could you make another one with the value at 95

Sure thing! I'm out at the moment but I'll be sure to do it later. I'll label them in the post
Why dont't you upload it to magisk itself?
Can you make a version that works with the latest stereo speakers mod (v3) ?
sorry

Okay so it did work for me, but it only works for YouTube, not for the stuff downloaded. Whenever I play downloaded music from my music player, it doesn't sound loud, rather it sounds the same. Is there any way that I can increase the volume from my music player?
Is there anything you could do about the Bluetooth volume? That would be really appreciated mate. Thanks!
Morning, when I try to download the file on my OnePlus 6 it's saying it's an unsupported file type

This really sucks because I have the same problem. I'm using a systemless root with Magisk and I can't directly edit the mixer path file without it reverting. Likewise, I'm unable to load this .zip file in Magisk because it says unsupported file. Any idea how I'm supposed to get this working? I'd really like to see if adjusting this to 90 would help drive my B&O H6 headphones!

This would be great, Bluetooth headphone users don't get the flar2 gain control so we can only alter volume with v4a, which doesn't output enough imo
Thank you brooooooo this world great! :highfive:
Why don't just use V4A FX? it will loud all system volume, you can choose between headphones and speaker and can perform every changes or just loud up the volume...just a suggestion
Guy's, just rename name of the file, for example boost.zip and everything is fine, flashing on magisk work like a charm.
Doesn't work on havoc rom latest version 13/11 bootloop

Because v4a isnt systemwide. It breaks on notifications without another magisk module to patch that, and the gain is limited, and the effects arent reliable, they tend to randomly do "Processing: No"

Its systemwide in a Sense, but not really, There is audio ducking on notifications, hence the module "notification_helper remover"
And v4a hasnt Been updated in years, only some People modded the ui and Called it new, unfortunatley There hasnt Been anything touched in v4a's processing in years

Hi Guys! I'm a little bit confused between Dolby Atmos and Viper4Android. I am a Kenzo user and currently using NOS O latest build.
So please suggest me which one should I flash? Dolby or Viper
and please give the best settings for it if you have.
Thanks in advance
Search FIRE SOUND in XDA (in our forum RN3 Pro)
Have Dolby and V4A and much other tweaks.
I love this mod
Edit: Link
Dolby, but you have to make sure that you flash the working version - some versions seem to work but actually do nothing and to make sound virtualizer work is not trivial.
Try Jetaudio music player, their plugins are actually working and doing the job great.
I have my Creative Outlier Sports and equalizer is greyed out when using them, but when you use wired earphones, it works properly.
I didn't have a problem like this on my previous phone (nexus 5x).
Non rooted phones: Several music apps with good build in equalizer like for example poweramp
If your phone is rooted you should install viper4android its one of the best equalizers android has
Thanks, i'll look into it. And what about ARISE sound systems ? Is there any major differences between multiple equalizers?

Well arise is just a package of equalizers and players but best in the package is viper
You should install it through magisk if youre rooted you can find viper4android in the downloads section of the magisk app: "viper4android fx materialized" working perfectly on miui 9 and 10 or any custom rom
Gotcha, will do. Thanks again.
Has anyone been able to install Dolby Atmos on the Pixel 4a? I have tried several versions, but they fail to install. I have Viper4Android installed, but uninstalled it before trying the various Dolby mods.. I have tried Dolby Atmos on my iPad with Apple Music and it sounds really good! I am not able to replicate the sound with Viper either… Viper sounds excellent, but I can’t get the spatial sound as good as Dolby Atmos.
it works fine for me
10.0 OS - Google Drive
drive.google.com
Thanks! It worked, but this seems to be Dolby Digital… I use Apple Music and my wife’s Samsung S21 the Dolby Atmos switch is present in the app, on my Pixel 4a it’s not. Even with this mod it’s not possible to activate. There is a track on Apple Music, «From sterero to spatial» with The Weeknd’s Save Your Tears with a voiceover talking about Dolby Atmos. Halfway through the track, Dolby Atmos is activated and the change is extreme! Sadly, on my Pixel there’s no change in audio even with this mod.
So, what I am looking for is a Dolby Atmos mod which enables Dolby for Apple Music as well..
You can use Razer Phone 2 Dolby Atmos, which is one of the best modules ever made. Below is the zip file, as far as I know it works on all Android versions. If you are using A12, yes, it works. I tried the same on stock Android and Lineage OS, but in PE, but it was going to bootloop. But not in any other os.
