The original Rom, which is for the especial edition doesn't work on redmi note 3 pro. Actually it doesn't get installed. So, every Rom for the special edition have to be ported to work on redmi note 3 pro.
It is possible to port this android 6.0 rom from Letv 1s to redmi note 3 mtk?

by reflashing the ROM via fastboot is the only way.
Searched the forum for this information, but couldn't really find it.
I'm wondering how to know which is my device version, and codename.
My device is an Xiaomi Redmi Note 9s bought in México, which seems to be a Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro for global market
So far this is all I got right now

Note 9s IS already the codename for global version.
Only in India it is called "Note 9 Pro".
The global Note 9 Pro has Codename "Joyeuse".
That is nearly identical with the Indian "Note 9 Pro Max", which has codename "Excalibur" ?
