Hi everyone, I am a new user to this site, I have an unbricked Time2 GC1044E Tablet which I want to root in order to upgrade from OS Android 4.4.2. to any OS greater than 5.0. This tablet falls under the category of cheap Chinese import.
There is very little data about this tablet on line and the last thing I want to do is brick-it.
The Firmware is on Rockchip RK3188-T and the firmware identity on the motherboard is RK3188- T105 V1.3 20140715.
I have obtained a copy of the " XDA Developers Android Hackers Toolkit" to help me during this journey and I will gladly share all backup firmware image files etc and also document my experiences of rooting this tablet. Best regards Buster1958

Okay Iam a bit new to all this flashing and rooting stuff....
My wife and I both got the Samsung Galaxy s2; and i rooted my phone very easy and installed a couple of different roms on it. I've read a lot about this, but i just can't find any information about the 8" tablet my daughter owns.
Follow-up.... ( i sure hope i won't be the only one anwering this post.... lol)
Hello Everybody!
The last couple of weeks i have been busy to get the tablet my daughter bought for herself rooted. So far; no luck at all.... So please... all information or tut's are more than welcome.
Situation:
I have followed a couple of different guides to get the tablet connected to my computer. And it seems like i accomplisched that (i think)
- The tablet is recognised by Windows as: CHM805HC
- I tried to install an ADB-driver, but this didnt went easy....
-- I installed some stuff from Oracle (java SE Development Kit)
-- After that i did install Android SDK tools
-- Some guides say this should bring me the ADB-drivers i need for this tablet.
-- Unfortunaly this wasn't the case. I also needed to install PDAnet; and this did installed the right ADB-driver.
- The tablet is now known as an Android Phone and is calles Android Phone Interface.
- When i installed PDAnet on my Windows 7 PC, it also installed the android app automaticly on the tablet. ---> This proofs that there is a connection between my computer and the tablet.
And at this moment iam completly stuck... I dont have any idea what i have to do at this stage....
If there is anyone out there with some kind of answers.... PLEASE...
Regards! Klazi

I have a prestigo multipad 4 which I want to reinstall the android os on it. Currently it has android but its limited to my company's software which it doesnt let me do anything but login on its software.
I need a guide how to delete all of its data and do a clean installation of android os. I saw from the manufacturers site that supports android 4.4.2. It would be nice if u can help me with that.
Thanks in advance.
Does a delete all data and just install the 442 firmware from the manufacturers site is the right thing to do?
Hi mates..
This is my 1st attempt to ask for help on this site, mainly cuz I've always found what I was looking for in the past without any trouble.
Anyways, I just received a brand new Huawei ascend mate 2 (Chinese version MT2-L05 running Jelly bean 4.2.2) and I honestly have no past experience with Huawei phones.. Ive been jailbreaking iphones, rooting Samsung phones for a number of years now, but never a Huawei.
Therefore, I would really appreciate it if u guys can help me root this one properly.
Thanks in advance.
