Prestigio Multipad 4 Quantum - Android Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

I have a prestigo multipad 4 which I want to reinstall the android os on it. Currently it has android but its limited to my company's software which it doesnt let me do anything but login on its software.
I need a guide how to delete all of its data and do a clean installation of android os. I saw from the manufacturers site that supports android 4.4.2. It would be nice if u can help me with that.
Thanks in advance.

Does a delete all data and just install the 442 firmware from the manufacturers site is the right thing to do?

[ROM] Prestigio Multipad PMP 5097C Pro - rooted V1.0.6

Here you can download latest ROM for Prestigio Multipad 5097C Pro tablet, which I rooted. Tested and root is working ok.
I had to remove eReader-Prestigio.apk from ROM (not enough space for Superuser.apk), but if you want it, it's included in archive.
As a new user, I cannot post link so daddycruel posted it for me.
Here is the link for download, thank's to gregyk!

Here is also rooted 1.0.6 ROM but with larger space for applications (1GB instead of 512MB), thanks to member Ficik:

Great work! Having a rooted tablet makes it so much better for me without all of that Prestigio bloatware. Just a quick question, does anyone find that this tablet lags quite a lot, and if you have, how did you solve it?
Many Thanks

Yes, it lags quite a lot . specially after unlocking it. I reset it to factory settings and tried not to install apps that I not need and then it works quite well. It's strange that an quad core tablet is so laggy.
For those who would like just to root the tablet refer to my post here
Prestigio 5000 pap duo
Does anyone tried to root Prestigio pap 5000 duo with JB 4.1.1? I tried with some of the apps like z4root 1.3.0 or universal androot but it didn't work... Does anyone have a suggestion?

Solution
Mine came with 4.2.2, rooted it, shown me there is an update available, I updated, lost root and after - damn - hours I managed to root it (on 4.4.2) with iRoot (have no idea where i got it from, google it). After that I removed iRoot or whatever it put on my tablet and now Superuser works fine.

root solution 4.4.2
Hi ERRORFOUND and any others,
I don't know what status this post is if you already found a solution??
Anyway, I found a solution but can't post links here cause I'm not that active here, but wanted to share my experience with that lenovo a7600-h.
Here my solution: (copy of my blog: blog[dot]wohlfilmen[dot]de - check here for download link of iRoot Software)
Dear Tablet Users!
Nowadays there are several programs for windows etc. to root your smartphones and tablet devices. None of them worked for the Lenovo A7600-H with latest update from July 2015.
Update Information:
Lenovo-A7600-H_Screenshot_2015-07-04-00-53-24
Modellname: Lenovo A7600-H
Android-Version: 4.4.2
Baseband-Version: A7600-H.V34, 2015/03/24 10:29
Kernel-Version: 3.4.67
Build-Number: A7600H_A442_000_029_150324_ROW
Solution: After searching the half web I found a new version of "iRoot" (v1.8.5) with Model library Date: 150618.
iRoot is a Chinese root software and it will install a chinese version of Google Play Store. Then it ask's which chinese application you want to install. Just exit the app. After you got root acces you have fully control over every application with SD Maid or similiar apps. Deinstall it.
ATTENTION: I do not guarantee for any kind of bricked devices or that it will work with your device.
Links:
Download link of "iRoot Software: (Sorry, cant Post link - check my blog) (Sa, 4th July 2015 00:50). Attention: The name of the *.exe file is still: "iRoot_1.7.9" but after installing it says: v1.8.5.
Be careful with other iRoot download sources, I catched a few virus by searching for the right one!
ATTENTION: I do not guarantee for bricked devices of any kind.
Proof:
SD Maid by "Darken"

Re-rooting

Hello awesome developers,
I need some help from you about my Lenovo a6000 android device.
So it contains android v4.4.4 OS. Now just 2 days before I rooted my device by searching the xda developers forums, here is the link of that page= http://forum.xda-developers.com/chef-central/android/how-to-temporarily-boot-cwm-t3053394
I rooted it and It was working great. But on yesterday I got a notification saying the upgrade to android 5.0.2 is available for your mobile. So because of the new OS, I upgraded my mobile to 5.0.2 OS. Its successfully updated. After that I installed the root checker app and its said that there is no root access on your device. To confirm again, I installed Super user app. And it said= You just upgraded to Lolipop, you need to re-root your device.
Then I repeated the same rooting process but its now giving me error at the steps when you select the supersu.zip file in recovery mode.
Its giving 2 errors = 1 is something dmb error and the 2nd is certificate error. And installation failed.
So what I need to do in order to root my device again?
Thank You
Hello again,
I found one app named Kingroot 1.8.5 with the help of which I successfully rooted my lenovo a6000 android v.5.0.2 successfully. I see the king root app installed on the home screen. The app is easy to use just like the xda developers apps
Is there any app from xda developers which can root this device which is going through this type of case I mentioned above?
Than You for taking my question in to the consideration. If I mistaken somewhere, I apologize. As even though I am a Hardware Engineer, I am newbie in Software Development Industry.
I am looking forward to your valuable replay.
Thank You

Time2 GC1044E Has anyone successfully Rooted this 10 inch Tablet

Hi everyone, I am a new user to this site, I have an unbricked Time2 GC1044E Tablet which I want to root in order to upgrade from OS Android 4.4.2. to any OS greater than 5.0. This tablet falls under the category of cheap Chinese import.
There is very little data about this tablet on line and the last thing I want to do is brick-it.
The Firmware is on Rockchip RK3188-T and the firmware identity on the motherboard is RK3188- T105 V1.3 20140715.
I have obtained a copy of the " XDA Developers Android Hackers Toolkit" to help me during this journey and I will gladly share all backup firmware image files etc and also document my experiences of rooting this tablet. Best regards Buster1958

IMHO trying to upgrade your phone's Android doesn't make sense because device has only 1GB RAM etc.pp . Look inside here where device's hardware requirements with regards to Android 7 are listed.
