Reinstall 7.0 all partitions on Xperia xa ultra - Sony Xperia XA Ultra Questions & Answers

Hello, everyone.
So I recently encountered a problem with sony xperia xa ultra dual. I was trying to root my phone and it required a 6.0 downgrade. So i did that, all of a sudden the xperia was corrupting, and all system apps weren't working. So I tried other ways to solve the problem like relock the bootloader for it wipe the phone or erase the partitions. But I was searching on how to restore the full partitions back onto the phone but nothing turned out, i dont want to use flashtool, i want to fastboot to reinstall everything back on. If you can help me to get the xperia firmware on dual, and help me restore all the partitions that would be great. Im sorry that I sound stupid, but I really wanted to get the phone backup in running.

Can anyone help me with my problems
Android version 2.3.4
Build number 4.0.2.A.0.58- and can not update to .62
Everything starts something like week ago, when i have rooted phon, unroting and restoring to factory data did not help, what else i can do?
Maybe yu should flash yur phone brov... use flashtool & tft file to flash!
Does the phone act like this running completely stock? Try re-installing it via SEUS and check.
http://dl-www.sonyericsson.com/cws/download/1/110/61/1309763183/Update_Service_Setup-2.11.7.13.exe
The .62 contains some fixes for rebooting problems and should be available soon for all phones.
Let me know how it goes.
Try root it with some good kernel/rom combination like b-kernel+hyberom, and then go back to stock kernel if you don't like it...when you flash your phone there is allways a chance to rewrite something that you shouldn't, and the only way to fix it is to try different things untill problem is repaired.
Hi folks
Fortunately, i did updates via Companion2.0, after few reseting to factory data, and now i'm on .62, but the problem with self restarting still stay,
So i will try tu update by seus, mayby that will help, hope so...let u know later
ONE more question, that problem with self restarting is a general issue or no?
repair it with PC companion.
How repair in PC Companion? i haven't seen that option.
Re-innstaling via SEUS help just for first 19-20 hours, I did it yesterday, and today, the problem returned:/, in half-hour the phone restarted twice
This happens with an app free factory reset phone? Then its hardware related. Mine never did that. Else maybe some app is misbehaving and causingthe reboot.

[Q] Help needed for Sony Ericsson Xperia Arc S

I had rooted my phone without unlocking the bootloader and I hadn't used a custom rom. While trying to port xperia s apps to my device via cwm recovery, i accidentally wiped the system data. Now all it shows is the SONY on start up and gets stuck there. I cannot go into recovery mode either. The phone does not get detected by the PC companion so I cannot restore the phone as well.
I only have the system app's backup on my SD card.
Is there any way I could flash the stock android or any other roms on my device? Or do I have to send it to a repair shop? :crying:
I did try to search for any similar questions but couldn't find any.

I'm not an expert, but i think if it's bricked it should not even power on. I hope someone with great experience reply to my thread fast because i want my Z3 up and running ASAP :crying:
I fixed it !!! yey
I finally fixed my phone with a few simple steps:
1. I downloaded "Androxyde XPERIA Flashtool" and re-locked my bootloader. http://xperiafirmware.com/
2. Downloaded sony pc companion
3. I clicked on Repair Software and waited for about 20-30 minutes
And that's it ! My phone is like new. I hope this helped for people with the same or similar problem

Does Sony Xperia P have a factory recovery?

Sorry if there is already a thread on this topic. I was wondering if the Sony Xperia P (LT22i) has a recovery mode like most other android phones? If it does have one, does anyone know how to boot into it as i need to factory reset this phone?
Thanks in advance,
Cian
I have the same problem. Stock Android, tried a number of different guides. Phone restarts right after booting up, so I can't access any system settings.
Hi, I don't think so. Some Samsung devices have recovery option built in but Xperia devices have to be either reflashed or reseted in Options.
no the xperia p,go,sola and u dont have a buid-in recovery but you can install flashtool on windows and flash the stock rom on you phone .
