I had rooted my phone without unlocking the bootloader and I hadn't used a custom rom. While trying to port xperia s apps to my device via cwm recovery, i accidentally wiped the system data. Now all it shows is the SONY on start up and gets stuck there. I cannot go into recovery mode either. The phone does not get detected by the PC companion so I cannot restore the phone as well.
I only have the system app's backup on my SD card.
Is there any way I could flash the stock android or any other roms on my device? Or do I have to send it to a repair shop? :crying:
I did try to search for any similar questions but couldn't find any.

hello everybody ...
excuse me if this is not the right place for my thread ...
my device keep on restarting after " update to ICS " interruption by accidentally power off the computer ....
i can't force it to turn off , neither root it nor do anything ...
please help me ..
I'm so disappointed
ics ?
Ics on the xperia s ?, i take it you have done this via flash/root of some kind as its not released on the xperia s yet or do you mean the arc s or another phone,
the only thing you can try is going to sony pc companion and choose repair the phone, this will wipe the phone completely but restore it back to normal,
thats assuming you can still get into flash mode,

reflash stock Rom may solve ur problem u soft-breaked ur phone
if PCC or SUS or other xperia tools detect ur phone try to flash and control ur phone by them
but as u have access to recovery u can flash stock rom through it.

Hello all experts,
Yesterday I unlocked my Tablet by Sonys site successfully.
I wanted to get root access and followed this guid today :
gadgetunlocker.com/root-xperia-z3-tablet-compact-advance-kernel
I did all steps and installed the superuser but after reboot Im stuck in a boot loop.
I really need help now to get out of this loop. I have tried factory reset and wipe cash but i doesen't help.
The one who can give me an idiot proof guide to how to get out of this loop with or without root access I will try to reward. I'm new at this so I need download links and what programs to use. I have installed flashtool now on my computer and fastboot is working. I can get in contact with the tablet in fastboot.
I have the Sony Z3 Tablet compact LTE.
Please help

Sorry if there is already a thread on this topic. I was wondering if the Sony Xperia P (LT22i) has a recovery mode like most other android phones? If it does have one, does anyone know how to boot into it as i need to factory reset this phone?
Thanks in advance,
Cian
I have the same problem. Stock Android, tried a number of different guides. Phone restarts right after booting up, so I can't access any system settings.
Hi, I don't think so. Some Samsung devices have recovery option built in but Xperia devices have to be either reflashed or reseted in Options.
no the xperia p,go,sola and u dont have a buid-in recovery but you can install flashtool on windows and flash the stock rom on you phone .
Hello, everyone.
So I recently encountered a problem with sony xperia xa ultra dual. I was trying to root my phone and it required a 6.0 downgrade. So i did that, all of a sudden the xperia was corrupting, and all system apps weren't working. So I tried other ways to solve the problem like relock the bootloader for it wipe the phone or erase the partitions. But I was searching on how to restore the full partitions back onto the phone but nothing turned out, i dont want to use flashtool, i want to fastboot to reinstall everything back on. If you can help me to get the xperia firmware on dual, and help me restore all the partitions that would be great. Im sorry that I sound stupid, but I really wanted to get the phone backup in running.
