Hi, I don't know what I've changed on the AOD but the bottom on screen button doesn't work to move to the lock screen, it only works with the power button, many thanks.

You turned off unlock with home button in display/nav bar setting probably.
I think you should likely Google the features on your device and/or hit you tube...they are good sources for people new to samsung devices.

My device is S6 edge tmobile. There is a circle setting button always showed up when some app's open. It''s totally useless and sometime makes the screen not working. I know some Tom disable this feature but I just want to know how to do that. Screen shot is here. Anyone knows how ?

Tools toggle -swipe down, uncheck tools toggle.
S6 only has 3 buttons. Multi tasking, home and back.. Android has a 4th button for settings and the floating 3 dots is the 4th buttons and only appears when an app has it in its code for the 4 settings button.
Other android phones that have on screen buttons also has this as part of the navigation

Are you sure you don't mean the white circle with 3 dots on the right of the screen
Yeah I mean it.. Sorry. But I know some rom can disable it. like VN 3.0. This button really buzzy me.
It's part of Lollipop for apps that haven't updated to the fact phones don't have hard menu button. App needs to be updated by Dev.

Not possible
This button acts as a replacement for the hardware menu button on older devices.
thats the menu button
Hi guys,
I picked up a Galaxy S9+ Duos in the Czech Republic yesterday and one of the first things I tried to do was disable the Bixby button - but, after logging in with my Samsung account and setting up Bixby, I find there's no settings cog as per screenshots from Galaxy S8 phones, and the triple dot menu only has very limited settings within, no option to disable the Bixby button unfortunately. Has anyone else had this problem? Could it be down to the way the Bixby app behaves in the Czech Republic?
Thanks!
Do you have this ???
No, I have a vastly simplified Bixby - it's missing Bixby voice entirely for example. See attached.

I have 2.1.09.7. Seems like mines old wondering if Samsung is Removing that option in latest update.
I have the exact same problem. I'm writing this problem everywhere. Support page of Bixby home didn't help. I already asked them 3 times. All they say is just hit the disable button which we don't have
Have you tried with bixby button remaper app? I have it and it woarks great

Hello there,
I recently purchased a Xioami Pocophone F1 after using LG for the past 4 years.
I am so used to double tap to unlock and lock my screen that I find myself constantly doing the same on the Poco.
Is there a way to enable that feature on the Phcophone?
How come LG is the only company that has that feature enabled by default? Is it something on their hardware or is it a part of Android in general?
I find it to be a great feature and personally, I don't like phones with buttons, especially on the right side of the screen.
Thank you,
It´s standard in MIUI 10. You can find this option under Settings -- Display.
If you are on MIUI 9, wait a few days. Xiaomi is rolling out the MIUI 10 stable in waves.

I prefer installing nova launcher and use double tap to lock screen.
to turn off the screen I use the following apps:
for dt2s on home screen - DTS Widget
for using the fingerprint scanner - fingerprint quick action
for status bar - all in one gestures (no longer available in play store, google apk)
Just posting the fine work of @Tulsadiver
Swap the location of the back button to the right side of nav bar for those who like it that way. Magisk module
https://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=80389367&postcount=35
Dont get it to work. I activate the 3 buttons navigation, made a reboot, install the Modul und still the Backbutton is on the left side.

Delete that one (but keep in your hip pocket) but try this one instead. This one should give you navbar swap and active edge (leave the active edge module off or deleted. All you need is the app).
I will give it a try. Actually i don´t offten use Active Edge.
I give you a feedback if it works. :good: :fingers-crossed:

Did your navbar buttons swap?
Hi, I tried the original one by tulsadiver on my pixel 3 and it is working. But when auto rotation is deactivated and I tilt my screen the small rotate button appears near the home button and not on the right side of the navbar.
When using the edited version this feature is working fine. The buttons change and the rotate button appears on the right side, but unfortunately although I have deactivated active edge the phone registers a squeeze when it's done. Nothing happens besides the phone vibrating and the Google colors appearing in the navbar as if Google Assistant is triggered. So not that major but a bit annoying. If I activate active edge it stays the same, only vibration and colors but no action.
I've got LOS 17 on my phone, but I really liked the 3 dot interface that was stock. With such a little screen it seems a waist not to use the 3 dots for something. What apps or mods have others used to bring functionality to the 3 dots?
Thanks to a suggestion in another thread; I'm using it to control sound as the device lacks physical volume control.
By using Button Mapper I've got it set so that:
Single tap: Volume +
Double tap: Volume -
Long press: Do not disturb (toggles on/off)

not quite. I'm talking about the capacitive three dot button located below the screen, not the navigation buttons on the screen

How did you get LOS 17 on your device? I don't see any mention of it being supported.

I followed the directions in this thread. It is long and detailed and you can see where I and others had asked questions. It was worth it for me though because I love this ROM: https://forum.xda-developers.com/android/development/guide-to-treble-gsi-palm-phone-t4101947
