Hi Everyone,
Alot more apps seem to be detecting root nowadays, and after Googling solutions I can't seem to find anything that works anymore.
I used to just deny the app in SuperSU but this doesn't seem to work anymore with the Sky Q app and Android Pay.
Im currently using Pixel.
Does anyone have any apps or methods?

Use Rootcloak Xposed module to hide apps detecting your root. Add apps that you want to stop detecting root.
Download it from here. You need to install Xposed framework.

Brilliant, does it work with Android 7 though?

Unfortunately both Xposed and Rootcloak not supported to android Nougat.
You can use hide my root app developed by amphoras to hide root access. Download from play store. I don't know it supports android Nougat.
Developer not given information about Nougat compatibility. Try and see
If it helped. Please thank me.
Iv already tried it, didnt work. Hopefully something comes up soon
Thanks

Use suhide app developed by famous android developer chainfire.
It can hide root on per app basis.
It is in experimental stage and it supports to android Nougat.

Thanks again!
i tried it, but it caused a boot loop. I Looked through the thread, and it seems to be an issue with November's update. I'll wait for him to update the app and try again but it looks promising.
thanks very much.

Confirm magisk manager app still working on S9+ (use menu: Magisk Hide)
Hello guys
I want to use the SEQR app (https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.seamless.seqr&hl=de) with my G900F and an installed LineageOS. Is there a way? The app constantly says that I am rooted. But LineageOS isn't rooted. It is an app for payment in shops. It simulates a card for contactless paying.
Best regards
David

I've never heard of SEQR, but if it checks safety net for compatibility then yes it will work.

ro.build.fingerprint=Xiaomi/hermes/hermes:5.0.2/LRX22G/V8.2.1.0.LHMCNDL:user/release-keys

Hi,
I'm using Greenify with root and activated the module in XPosed on CM13 but I updated to LOS 14.1 yesterday so I'm wondering how do I get Greenify to work as official XPosed isn't released yet on Nougat.
Thanks

Boost mode, Agressive doze and hibernation works without XPosed?
Do I just install Greenify and it will work, no need to do ADB etc?

Just install greenify. You can enable all the features that does not require Xposed.

So no need to do ADB or dump permissions, just install Greenify?
Also, should I install the version from Play Store or use the beta?
Thanks

its simple
1.root with magisk nd install greenify4magisk- it make greenify to work as privileged app to boost performance
2. install greenify beta or stable
3.enable aggressive doze nd whatever u want
but u can't use xposed features cuz magisk is nt the same

Once you installed it, make the settings you desire and poof, you're done. I may ask you to enable one permission in settings just to work right. I have the version from play store. What i did, was just to make the settings it asks in the beginning and then I added the apps i wanted to hibernate. And that's all. Enable root access, but not xposed in greenify.
it make hibernate apps quickly just like with xposed
it make greenify to hibernate apps as fast greenify do with boost mode

If you used the Xposed by PurifyOS, then Greenify will not work as an Xposed module. It is not compatible with that version of Xposed.
You can use Magisk and install the Magisk module of Greenify to enjoy something better than Boost mode in Greenify. Still the Xposed based functions of Greenify won't work.
EDIT: Or you can simply use Greenify as a root app without Boost mode and Xposed based functionalities.

...along with "unofficial Xposed" which is not officially supported...until it is...which is not currently the case.
Great news! thanks to @SamwiseStenner who develop the xposed module.
Note: TWRP recovery and root(supersu o Magisk) is needed.
In our stock roms, face recognition is not available in smartlock. If you have a cutom rom with face reconition enable, skip step 1.
1a. Nougat: Flash open_gapps-arm64-7.1-nano-20180201_FACEUNLOCK4.ziphttps://drive.google.com/open?id=1zZ3CKy9HhrCmeJ1j7LN8DU8k6QhB8ODF
1b. Oreo 8.1 open_gapps-arm64-8.1-nano-20171215-UNOFFICIAL_FACEUNLOCK https://drive.google.com/open?id=1N-_qWvdgX05KPL4Rab4Wt-O1THUlG1Sc
1.c Oreo 8.0 FACE_UNLOCK_8.0.zip https://drive.google.com/open?id=1t6bLiDqGxkqM0XRwTXPVO5ZtVLW-5IoB
2. In settings/security/trust agents, enable smart lock
3. In setting/security/smart lock Trusted face will be available. Configure your face.
4a:AEX 8.1 release newer than version of 10th February 2018: Enable settings/Extensions/Lockscreen/Locks creen UI/face auto unlock. All done! skip all the following steps.
4b:Nougat and Oreo 8.0. Install XposedInstaller_by_dvdandroid_31_10_17.apk.
5a. If you have supersu you need to install xposed with the Xposed installer just installed.
5b (my option). If you have magisk, you can install the magisk module Xposed Framework (SDK 25 for Android 7.1 and SDK 26 for Oreo 8.0) under in Magisk manager under Downloads menu.
6. Reboot. The reboot time is quite long...about 3 minutes...WAIT.
7. Now in app Xposed installer you would get the green status (Xposed framework active). (If you get the orange status you have to rebbot again. If you get red status, Xposed is not installed: try step 5 again)
8. In Xposed installer menu "Downloads", search InstantFaceUnlock. Enter, move to tab VERSIONS and push "Save" and the application IFU will be installed.
9. In Xposed installer menu "Modules", check "Instant Face Unlock"
10. Reboot.
11. Have fun!!!

well, if you get robbed or you lose it on the street i don't believe that they'll get a photo of you. It's enough.
This might be useful for stock. But I can't see why you can't just flash GApps Stock package for literally any other rom then this is not needed at all, face unlock works perfectly without the need for this fuss.

AEX has the option to unlock without swiping up, just sayin.
