I've got my sim card activated to send mms, but i need some sort of program to send them don't I :wink:

I have just recently arrived in Sao Paulo and have puchased a SIM card for my phone (TIM)
Phone works fine but no internet. My Portugese is not the greatest so I'm hoping someone can help me out. Maybe its something to do with my settings. My access point settings are as follows:
Name: TIM connect
APN: timbrasil.br
Proxy: -
Port: -
Username: xxxxx
Password: xxxxx
Server: -
MMSC: htt//mms.tim.br
MMS port: 8080
MCC: 724
MNC: 03
AUthentification type: PAP
APN type: internet and mms
not even sure if this is where to start. All was working fine in NZ...
Any ideas???
If you bought a Tim Brasil sim, then i guess you must change the apn settings according to your new network. Doesn't Tim provide a method of setting the apn automatically or info on their official brasilian site on how to set up apn manually ? You must verify if you have the correct settings

ïf you have wifi, for a second, you may wanna try the "APN Brasil" app in the Market.
MTN Internet Options Training = آموزش تنظیمات اینترنت ایرانسل
MTN Internet Options Training
Enter the wireless network settings and / or after you enter the mobile network / access point name
Click on the menu button and click Add APN
Each segment is now complete with the following
Name = mtnirancell
APN = mtnirancell
Authentication type = PAP

I was using tata docomo gprs for the last 10 days, but i cant access net after i chose 'KILL ALL' option in 'BATTERY SAVER'. I tried switching off and removing sim and then reinserting; restoring all factory settings ; to download from tata server itself; manulal setting with
