So i'm trying to root my phone but can't get it to work, i've tried this https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Bh6_KxQZx9Q to no avail...I get permission denied at the end even though i followed everything step by step
Is there another solution ?

All i did was follow the tutorial, the reason it wasn't working was because i was using nova launcher, so make sure you're using the default launcher.

Having successfully defaulted to Go Launcher (thank you!) - does anyone know how I can access my Kindle books? I have tirf installing the Kindle Reading App apk but it refuses to install.
Any help would be really appreciated as this is the only thing missing from the Launcher now.

Unfortunately it seems that after rebooting the kindle app does not work...

it looks like after reboot it upgrades to the system app

OK figured it out and updated thread:
A way around this issue would be to side-load the Kindle app. But not any Kindle app, a hacked version I made with a different signature and package name. That way your device will allow the installation and will not downgrade each boot. Download the APK below to get your books working:

there is no other rom available , but you can root and remove yourself the preinstalled apps ! let me know if you need help with that

Use Kingoroot https://www.kingoapp.com/android-root/download.htm and follow on screen instructions !
Somehow it did worked on my second try. First it freezed at 99% during reboot.
Finally I have rooted SM-G110H

I worked for me today as well.
I just wish I could root with PHH's Superuser instead, as I don't quite trust Kingo Root…
Got my device rooted and upgraded to lollipop yesterday but remote play won't work, any one could help except unrooting the device? Couldnt install xposed app either so not able to try cloakroot app....
If any one knows a fix for this, it would be very welcome
Of course Xposed runs on this tablet with Lollipop!

Here's the solution guys install this apk and your good to go the error is due to root not xposed xprivacy or cloakroot doesn't work on xperia for me no idea why I tried everything with it nothing so this apk will work for me

goto galaxy s7 froum and get root from there and it works. regards .
i have rooted with this only issue is shealth wont work but if you have root you can build prop it and that works to..

does it not have a complete uninstall option? if not you might have to flash the whole Rom again and root c/f..

My device is oneplus 3 and it has stock oneplus launcher.
I cannot install this on ViperOS...
try out appmirror and download there the latest pixel/O Launcher.
But you need to set the root permission for left swipe news.
I don´t know how to do that, but everything else is working.
