Is there still no hope for my bricked tablet?
If everyone is using condi's tool to get access to the ICS update, then there will be no zip file for me to flash so my tablet can't be fixed?
I'm running a UK device and am in the UK.
Condi's tool doesn't make impossible for an UK user to save the newly received UK's update somewhere before modding it and give you an access to that somewhere...
Just wait for the update, again and again (and again).
Condis tool worked fine for me and mine is a UK tablet and I am in UK. How did you brick it?

Try giving your tablet to service center they will rectify it....i had got mine updated to official usa ics firmware and losr 3g so I gave my tablet to service people they downgraded my tablet to 3.2hc and gave my tablet within 2days......
Ie if u cant wait for a fix or having a dead tablet beside you the above idea works good
It would cost me £70 to get it repaired.
I tried to add init.d support but set the incorrect permissions, I don't have ADB access.
I got so fed up with not having the tablet, that I went out and bought the Samsung Galaxy 7+. Alot better I must admit, but I still don't want a 349£ paperweight on the end of my bed.
If ICS is due out on the 31st for Europe, can someone get the Zip for me please in the UK?
My device has been bricked since early February now.
I want the same file. If I get it Ill upload it for you
Can anyone post this? A full Zip not the OTA file
Hi,
So after selling my nexus 5, buying a G3, returning a G3 and finally getting a Z2 I'm wondering if any UK owners have got the OTA for lollipop yet. I have the D6503 Unlocked Uk (eu) version from amazon.

I too got the EU version from Amazon Italy. And yes, I got the OTA and I live in Ireland but that shouldn't make a difference..
You need PC companion to flash it though.. Connect you phone and let PC companion install drivers and as soon as its done, you will be notified of an software update..

So installing the drivers on the PC companion software will allow me to receive OTAs? Surely it will receive OTAs itself like any other phone or does the PC companion flash lollipop onto the phone, I want to avoid flashing for now during the warranty and stick to OTAs or methods which won't void anything.

Sony works a bit differently, Yes you get normal OTA's but to jump to lollipop, you need to use their PC companion. It doesn't void warranty or anything. PC Companion is an official Sony product.
Hi, I just bought this phone (H960A), but unfortunately seller told me that he bought it with a contract from one of Polish mobile operator. It will be probably bloated with many their apps, and there will be no marshmallow update for a long time.
Is it possible to flash 100% stock rom? I want get update directly from LG.
And btw, is there any way to obtain a root in marshmallow? I read a plenty of threads and I didn't find any answer.

I think the MM OTA update is already available for your V10 variant.

But I'm talking about branded roms. Because of this, my father for example got the lollipop update for note 3 in the end of 2015...

It doesn't matter if it's branded or not. There is a MM update available for euro version of H960A. Just install LG drivers and LG Bridge, plug in the phone to your pc and update via LG Bridge. If, for some reason, you don't get the update like that than go here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/lg-v10/general/official-software-h960a-v20a-t3354304. Download the kdz file and install with LGUP.
Hi,
I can't find answer regarding updating my miui OS to latest available.
I bought the Chinese version(package is written in Chinese) and the seller told me to not update via OTA else my phone will get bricked.
My question is what rom is suitable for the Chinese version?
Attaching my phone info.
Thanks a lot

Nope, you do not.
Device supports any upgrade from any official version, it happens that some sellers proceeded with a method specifically with the chinese version to flash a called "fake" rom onto it, for this reason it crashes trying to update via OTA. Don´t confuse; it supports any complete upgrade flashing entire rom through MiFlash tool or through recovery but not some OTAs due to bootloader restrictions.
What the user is telling you is if you unlock bootloader and install twrp you can install more easily any rom onto it.
But if you don´t want to root by now you can flash by i.e. this version that it seems to be the latest http://en.miui.com/thread-3007347-1-1.html it should happen that MiFlash tool doesn´t work (I guess only works with unlocked bootloader) then you have to try version for recovery, don´t forget to enable USB debugging and just in case OEM unlock features in developer options. If this doesn´t result then you have to search for MiPhone flash tool to flash in edl mode.
Before go further do a backup an bind atleast an account in your device to Xiaomi servers to have a plan B.
Hello,
I need help with my S9+ from ATT. It is still stuck at Android 8.0. I am no longer with ATT and am no longer in the US (Asia now). When i try to do a software update on my phone, it says it is already on the latest update.
How am I able to get the latest update? I have yet to try Odin as I am new to it and am scared that it will brick my phone. Is there any firmware and guide on how to put it to my phone? If successful updated to android9.0, how am i going to get oneUI and subsequent updates?
Is it also possible to make my att phone into a phone that is directly bought from samsung store? So that I am able to get updates directly from samsung?
Please advise. Thanks.
Regards
