Would someone be able to tell me what the current baseband version for their phone and software version is please.
Changed mine to dual sim and now has two basebands which are identical but never made a note of it before starting the process.
Everything is working, im just curious.

C432 - P20 Lite. 136 basebands
Brilliant, thank you. Mine is the same as yours.
Only issue I seem to have is the second sim has an IMEI of all zeros but still works for data and calls perfectly fine. Strange but who knows. Thanks again.

Yeah, strange. Both my IMEI display correctly, but probably could be a region bug thing with the firmware change. Anyway, you're welcome
I just assume because it was never destined to be a dual SIM phone, it originally shipped with only one IMEI number, but the rebranding and area changing activated the second sim and baseband, it has no IMEI associated with it. But doesn't seem to cause any issues though so I'm happy with it. Was yours originally dual SIM from new. ???

Hi guys, I've just got my replacement SIM card today but there is no signal for the SIM on my Galaxy SII Gingerbread 2.3.3. I popped the SIM into my old Nokia phone and it is working fine so I'm pretty sure it's not the SIM. I googled and looked around the forum but found no solution. Already message the carrier and they say the phone is not barred while the SIM is working fine on my old Nokia phone.
In the "About phone/Status" the phone number is unknown, network is O2 UK, signal strength is ok, mobile network type is "HSDPA", service state is out of service. IMEI number is normal. When I dial any number it says "mobile network not available".
If this thread existed before, I really apologize for making a new one. Any help is really appreciated
Have you entered the network details in the phones settings ??

Where'd you get the phone? Sounds like it's a SIM-locked phone...

I believe you're referring to the 3g network? If so then my problem lies in calling and texting itself. There is no network signal as there is only a circle with cross. If not, how do you enter the network detail

This phone is an international version I got from my home country Vietnam and it's already unlocked. I was using UK SIM fine until the December holiday. After I returned from Vietnam, the SIM stopped working and I ordered a replacement. Can flashing new kernel affect this cuz I tried some new one during the holiday? The IMEI is still normal though, I checked
i have a problem ...
with miui or wiui , my debit of 3G is bad. I download at 20 ko... with official rom i download a 300 ko ...
why ?
tks

Have you tried the SIM in another phone? Or a different SIM in this phone? Could be either the SIM card is bad (which the replacement SIM will fix), or the SIM card slot on the phone went bad (which the replacement SIM WON'T fix).

Kind of rude to hijack someone else's thread... But I'll answer anyways. My guess is that your official ROM has modems more suited for your country and carrier, and MIUI (or WIUI - never heard of this one) doesn't. You can probably fix with flashing a different modem. But I can't tell you which modem to try.
I have always try e few modem and it's doesn't work .

Try some more. I doubt you've tried them all. Maybe some kind soul who is also on your carrier (which you have displayed on your profile as Orange) in your location (also in your profile as France) can tell you which one.
I popped the SIM into my old Nokia phone and it worked fine so it's not really the SIM. I was thinking maybe there is something wrong with my software but you brought up a good point about the SIM slot I'm gonna try it out and see first
ok . i will try another modem.
thanks
no, it doesn't work ... i have tried a modem who is ok with checkrom or ics or official samsung but don't work with miui . it's strange because it's ok with miui NDT
Since around 3 p.m (est) today, my phone has stopped receiving signal, I tried to put the sim card in my friends phone and it worked just fine. Anyone has any ideas why and how to fix it?

What is qcn and what might be the reason my phone got blacklisted?
Same thing happened to me two weeks ago. Phone would only connect to the network after a full reset. I'd reinstall my apps, reboot and it would not reconnect to the cellular network. Switched to my backup phone (Nexus 5) for 3 days... After that switched the SIM back to the V10, reset the phone again and it has been working fine since.
Weird!
i have same problem, and till now my problem not solved. help!!

I also have this problem. It's happened on two phones. Would be curious if anyone else was using the ROM from Andy Zhang? http://forum.xda-developers.com/tmobile-lg-v10/general/rom-v10-development-forum-t3461890
I never had that issue until using that ROM (which is great in all other respects). Maybe it's a coincidence..
yeah my old v10 sim slot got killed as soon as I tried Andys Rom too. Phone works fine, just cant figure out how to get the sim card slot back. All my sim cards work fine on other devices.
I am having a terrible LG week with these darn devices..
With Andys Rom you'll need to change a few things in build.prop and add a tmo apn. IIRC
I bought LG v10 imported unlocked from ebay, the phone working fine just week and now showing "No Service", i tried factory reset as well as hard reset, also tried #*#*4636#*#* but its showing "This app is not working on this device", What to do now ?
Good question

Hi all, I recently got an S4 SCH -I545L from a friend to help him
But I faced an isue with it, it receives no signal at all, It just shows an icon with a circle inside in diagonal
At first the I thought it was siƶlocked so i strugeled to get into service mode using shortcut master for the conventional dial method didnt work. But to no availm after following the desimlock procedure, still nothing(Seems like it wasnt even simlocked since i found no NV golden backup)
Then out of a sudden when explorimg secret codes i found out that my IMEI says unknown, so i tried every possible thing to fix tha
I tried to install Xposed so as to install Xposed IMEI changer, but I was unable to install xposed for various reasons
Then i tried a lot of things i found on the web, but still nothing, seems like this issue is very complex
Im running android lollipop 5.0.1
Regards, hope someone can help
Come on, s o no one can help me out here ?
Really?
In the whole XDA community?
This is really sad
I don't know if my problem is exactly the same as yours, but I also have a no/very low signal after adding an AT&T SIM card to this phone:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/gal...rizon-samsung-galaxy-s4-sch-1545-att-t3459764
So far as I have googled, my IMEI number is clean.
EDIT: For your particular problem, it might be helpful to know what carrier SIM you're using and whether that SIM is specific to the phone or not.

I used a SIM tool app to verify SIM card, and it said it's locked to Verizon, but a lot of properties are listed unknown, so it's definitely not connected to the network
I think it's a CDMA/LTE phone but I tried and none works
Hi.
Am I being stupid or does my UK version not have dual SIM support? I cannot see how to fit in the 2nd SIM.
uk version doesnt have dual sim
https://forum.xda-developers.com/mate-10/help/huawei-mate-10-pro-carphone-warehouse-t3700587
if i was you i'd return and get amazon.de to deliver to uk address.
There is space for a second SIM on the UK version. Maybe its just software holding it back from being dual SIM?

I was thinking the same thing! I know the BLA L29 dual sim software can be flashed no problems it's been confirmed as working. What hasn't been confirmed is if we buy a dual sim card tray will the second SIM work?
It's been confirmed that if you rebrand using FHRebrandTool (NOT FHMate10Tool) the second sim becomes usable with a new tray.
Just flashing new software will not work. You must rebrand to L29.
But what about the second modem? I believe your phone has one IMEI number, hence single modem. It should be a hardware issue rather than software.

Yes. It will use one IMEI for both sims. But it works for people who tried it.

Wouldn't using 2 SIMs on the same network with 1 IMEI cause issues? Based on my understanding previously working for a UK network Provider.
It doesnt sound very promising.

You'd think so, but people have reported it works. I don't have a single-sim device to test it on, but at least in Spain it's confirmed working.
I am new to Huawei. Currently on BLA-L09 8.0.0.125(C34) on Optus(AU). I want to rebrand it to Asia/International version.
The queries I have.
01. Can someone please point me to the right Zone Code (i.e. C34) which I should be using?
02. Is it safe to use ROM's for L29 in L09 set and change the Zone? (i.e. rebrand with L29 Asia/International ROM)
03. If I use a L29 Asia/International ROM and purchase a Dual Sim tray, does both the sim slot works?
Thanks in advance.
This thread is relevant to my interests (I also have a pro w/Optus).
I emailed the good guys at Funky Huawei. They pointed to me that, I need to change to C636. In settings, I can see two SIM support is now enabled. Ordered a dual SIM tray, once I get them delivered, I hope they do work. However, the only thing I am missing is the VoLTE support. The option is not in the settings anymore. I wont certainly wont miss the option much but still trying to find a way. Apart from that, the ROM is smooth.
where did you order the dual sim tray?

I did it because I needed the dual sim support that wasn't present with the firmware I was using.
The process honestly it's pretty straightforward, I can't complain.
Look like there no hope of having a lineage OS for our mate 10. It has been so long and no developer had build any of it.
I am also looking into rebranding.
Did you check with FH guys about support for Optus VoLTE???
I tried to flash firmware from Huawei frimware finder and bricked my Mate 10 pro. Is there any way I can fix it by flashing the stock firmware again?
I also have a m8 10 pro with optus. Thinking of doing this too hows reception any changes? Also does the AI still work i hear if you root then it gets disabled could you confirm it still works?

You don't need root to rebrand using FH tool.
Upon re branding I have lost VoLTE on optus. Today I have got the dual sim tray and I can confirm that it works. Using 131 C636 ROM

You could rebrand back to Optus model and have both VoLTE and dual sim. Even if you rebrand to a single-sim branding, FHRebrandTool gives you dual sim. The only caveat is, if you're on a single-sim branding, you can't put a PIN code on your sim card.
I'm I'm c34 and can't even get volte to work. Optus have been useless.
My Sim has volte enabled, as my wife's mate 10 pro has it working wth it.
After hours of 'tech support's and a trip to the useless staff as the store, the only advice I received was "can you come back tomorrow".
Useless.
