Hello Yesterday i have upgraded my phone ROM.
First have unlocked the bootloader.
Next, followed this video to upgrade to Android 5.0 AOPS build:30-11-2014 by Artas.
It was great and useable while i did not installed a new CWM.. (CWM 6.0.4.5 Touch by Pollos).. after that, the phone is stucked at "LG" logo and while i charge random times reboot..
Earsed all with fastboot, and now the phone is not turn on while i charge or try to turn it on..
I have got this problem earlier with an other android version (sercurity error) and the S/W update was good.

Hello

a few information about this phone:
- as far as i was told, the phone died after an update
- when i plug the phone to the charger nothing appears on screen
- when i power the phone nothing happens
- when i volume up + power the phone nothing happen, same with volume down + power and volume up+down+power
i have installed the lg tools and using the imei downloaded a 600+MB package which should be the restore image of the phone but when the procedure starts to flash the image it gets stuck at 4% trying to connect to phone without any luck
if anyone has some ideas to give i would be very happy to try them!

Now.:
When i try do S/W upgrade with the "LG Mobile Support Tool", it stops at 4% and the phone disconnect itself from the PC.. the installer goes (without the phone plugged in) 4--->8% and if i turn again my phone to download mode, go to 15%.
At 15% again disconnect and the installer say "Error, try to unplug USB and remove battery and try again......"
I have tryed KDZ offline flashing but it is force quit when i click "Start"..
Tryed:
Official support tool - Say "You have already installed the latest version (V20H). If i try to "Upgrade errors fix", it stop at 15% as i said..
Fastboot - earse boot, system etc.. after that again upgrade, but stop at 15% and phone turn off.
LG Flash tool - these 90% exit with some error before i can start anything..
I hope you can help and understand my bad english:'D
Did you invoke "Download Mode"? If i remember, this requires switching the phone off, and attaching it to usb while keeping volume up or down pressed, and will show a special screen, if successful.
Download mode is even more basic than fastboot or adb, and the final line of defense, before throwing the phone away.
All LG tools require the LG usb drivers. These at least no longer recognize the phone with Artas' CM11, except for when in download mode. Then Windows should auto-install a virtual COM port. For ADB and Fastboot you need different drivers then, like those from the Google SDK. But with these the LG tools won't work, not even the sync suite.
Helloooo,
I have a big problem, cant get my phone running again.
The sad thing is, I just got it 4 hours ago
So heres what I have done to my Phone:
I rooted it with Kingo-Root and then installed a app where TWRP was listed, there also was CWM and stuff and I thought I have to flash my phone there with TWRP to install a new ROM and stuff and I clicked there on flash.
Then it asked me if I want to restart in, I cant remember recovery and/or download mode, I clicked yes and from there the trouble began.
When it starts the Coolpad Logo appears, then it say "Download and install the package?", to confirm volume up, to abort volume down. If I press abort, it just goes off, the restart may leads to the battery charging screen ( usb cable is always connected!!), if I press volume up, it says "Information - Do not disconnect data cable", but it says it for forever, nothing happens.
If data cable isnt connected, it shows Logo and then goes off, doesnt do anything.
I wish I would have never done that, Im too stupid for stuff like that.
Can someone help me out?
Hopefully
Hi are you able to enter in TWRP recovery in orden to try to flash him back to stock rom ?
Sadly no
I read some stuff on the internet, and tried it:
I installed andoid studio on my PC, with all that drivers, connected the Phone to my PC and looked it up in the device manager.
Before it was just recognized as "Other devices - Android" without any information, now I had the Hardware ID and put that into the setup text of Google drivers and installed them.
My PC somekind recognizes the phone. (but not like normally)
Maybe i can get the Stock Rom to phone that way somehow?
Edit: its called adb interface in device manager
Now I tried to set up the stock-rom via YGDP, and well, it kinda worked.
Im now out of this mode.
If I start the phone it makes its starting sound and it response to "key"-presses by vibrating, but, no screen, its just pitch black.
Its not listed in device-manager anymore.
Any suggestions?
bad support.

That is probably because you flash incompatible firmware which does not recognize display of your device .
Search on the internet for another genuine rom and repeat flashing process .
I had alsmost same issue when I flashed Blu Studio D572i with rom of D572a as I remember , was black screan completely but buttons are working (showing light) .
I'll get straight to the point, yesterday I went and re-rooted my phone with Kingroot (I had already rooted it once with Kingroot) to try something called Magisk, and basically what happened is that I installed Magisk manager and selected the 3rd option to install it (can't remember the details), I am new at this sort of stuff but I knew it would be risky without some sort of recovery mode installed.
Next thing I know the phone shows the LG logo like normal but with an error message on the up left corner of the phone saying:
"ERROR: boot certification verify
[880]--------------------------------------------
[880]
[880] Secure booting error!
[880] Cause: Boot certification verify
[880]
[880]--------------------------------------------"
And then the screen goes black it doesn't really shut down because it takes me about 10 seconds of holding the power key which is force reboot instead of the 2-3 second hold.
I've been trying to get solutions for this around the forums but nothing works as I don't know my exact model number.
I would appreciate some help and thanks in advance!
Edit: I managed. Thanks anyway!
I done goof'd when trying to flash custom recovery, now phone gives "secure booting error! Cause: boot certification verify" when trying to boot.
I'm unable Fastboot - all the tutorials I found give me wrong instructions (*more details at the end).
So I'm trying to flash stock rom, but every flashing software I tried either had a broken download link (LG's official site is hot garbage), Needs a password (seriously, why), or doesn't run on my perfectly fine, modern enough PC (Ryzen gen 2).
Any help? With either a normal Flashtool (please link), or a way to enter Fastboot?
*Volume+ power, release when logo appears, then holding down volume+power again brings me to factory rest. Not even recovery. Choosing "Yes" on factory reset does nothing.
*Powering off, then holding volume up while plugging in the USB brings me to download mode. Keeping the same butting still held does nothing.
*Powering off, then holding volume down while plugging in the USB does nothing (boots normally, then displays the booting error I mentioned earlier).
I have similar problem with LG G2 mini: Secure booting error: Boot certification verify. I tried turn on download mode but I can not turn on download mode. I tried t flash smartphone by flashing software LG flash tools but this program hangs. Exception code: c0000005. Can you help me?
As i have mentioned in the topic i have an old phone and its brand is so rare that i don't think i can find any solution and i dont really need to revive that phone but at least i wanted to give a try on this forum so, i have just created an account well. As i have mentioned its probably hard bricked and if you ask me how it hapened actually tried to install rom and it just failed so it does stucks on boot section just flushes android writing second by second. So it would be probably a reason of why it doesn't boot into fast boot etc. so it blocks the connection between the pc and phone but at least in download mode, pc can see the phone but not as an usb-disk just sees as a cable or something, i tried to install rom but failed because of "download mode" i think and i have tried to push all of the buttons it just flushes android writing except for trying both pressing volume up and down keys (which leads download mode i think) they just appears black screen and does nothing but it does let the computer sees it as something otherwise it wont be seen as a device in other boots. So im open for all of the suggestions. Thanks for at least giving some time to read that wall of text.
