Sounds as though your phone is hard bricked. I advise you contact Huawei for an exchange (if you have a warranty). If not, you may have to get another one as there currently isn't a way to fix our hard bricked devices

From what I know, if you are on MM, KingRoot won't work for you and as stated by zinko_pt in that post, never use KingRoot. It's a nightmare.

I tried to unlock my honor using kingroot (getting unlock code) I'm on 5.0.2 but still no progress.
Registrated on emui to get the code but I have to wait for 14 days (I don't know why)

They put it in place for instances where I know your IMEI, Serial and ID and try to get your unlock code.
As unlocking makes your phone unsecure, they want to make sure that it's really you who wants the unlock code.
I guess...

I don't want to wait 14 days, so I tried to use kingroot as they say it works. But it didn't. So I don't know it's my fault or not

One of the users has a whole thread here where the phone eventually bricked trying to get rid of KingRoot root.
Please stay away from it.

Yeah dude, you'll want to wait those 14 days, when your bootloader is unlocked everything gets a lot easier, then u can flash TWRP recovery and with that the limits are very blurred:laugh: what I mean is that with just TWRP recovery u can then flash a Rom that is pre-rooted, it is absolutely the easy way to control your phone:good: I know 14 days is a long time, but it's better than a Brick:fingers-crossed:

Seems symptoms of a hard brick.
Does it shows anything while charging? Animation, led, anything?

qhsusb means the boot loader is forked, he must have flashed the wrong Rom

Agreed.... messed up mobo r near impossible to fix though :/ unless there are easier ways created by aftermarket devs like in Samsung tablet S or HTC HD2(The Leo Legend!)

That's sad man. May your phone rest in peace.

If it's out of warranty, try to get a refurbished logic board. I did that for my Nexus7 and it was way cheaper than a brand new one.
JTAG can do it, also you can download drivers now that you couldn't before, he needs to learn to use google, there really is no excuse for flashing the wrong ROM there are plenty of good people on here to ask like I did, I asked the question can I flash only l21 ROMs and what is kiwi and I got told what I could flash, remember friends beauty fades but stupid is forever !

Jtag is somewhat expensive.
Sent from my Galaxy Tab 3 using XDA Labs
The cheapest JTAG box I found is 150$ plus shipping and import taxes. Also there is no guarantee it will work with H5x (must have the appropriate firmware).
I would say it's safer (and probably cheaper) to get it fixed officially.

take it to service center,,, they have lot of other tools... they can bring back ur phone maybe to life.
Hi guys, I followed this tutorial. I did complete backup and then I changed the firmware but the result did not please me, so I went to restore the backup and now my honor 9 does not start.
if someone can do my honor at least re-connect I can recover with twrp
If someone does not understand. VIDEO This is my problem.
if anyone has a way to get a motherboard, to save my honor
The phone in the video isn't the Honor 9. This is the Honor 9 thread. Did you flash firmware for the wrong model?

Hi everyone,
I recently started to use RRos 8.1. Come from emui 8.
Due to high battery drain and warming device, I really would like to go back to emui. Problem is I can't. I tried some tutoriels found here but no way.
Could you help me please with the needed steps?
I have emui recovery oreo and no root.
Thanks.
What steps did you follow to install RRos 8.1 ?
Thanks for reply.
I used the system.img in the tutorial about RRos and flashed it through fastboot.
Just tried to flash system.img from the stock firmware...
I shouldn't try to do this. Now bootloop. I only have access to Huawei eRecovery, nothing else.
However, today, it's monday. So I just have to wait 9 o'clock and run to buy a brain :silly:

Hello everyone,
I am currently at my wits end. I just got the Mate 10 Pro, rooted and TWRPed it after getting the OEM unlocker et al. Decided to try the LineageOS and ran into trouble there. Now I can boot into to TWRP, I can also get into FastBoot but can't find a Factory or any ROM for the matter that I can use to install an OS on the phone. Can anyone direct me to a TWRP flashable ROM?
Thank you all for the anticipate kind assistance with this.
Lineage OS can be installed through fastboot since it's a treble rom. Havent seen one that can be flashed through TWRP.

Thanks for your responses. After too many failed attempts to fix it myself, I invested in the Funkyhuawei software and fixed the phone.

I didn't hence the $65 investment with Funkyhuawei. Can you share as the license is for 30 days and with my getting rusty with the rooting and flashing skills, I may need such tools again.
