Hi,
When I click on "Select Recovery Image" I only get a white screen and the back arrow. It doesn't show any option to select or browse files
Anything wrong on my part?

I did not use this method for flashing the TWRP recovery.
I used an extgernal sd card and placed the recovery image in there with name recovery.img.
Then turned on box pressing reset button and it went to the card recovery. Don't know if that will work for your box thouh

Works on other boxes but not this 1, it's like it's unable to boot into twrp. Out of ideas lol
Probably a silly questions like...does this require root?
I install recovery through terminal emulation.
1. su
2. dd if=/sdcard/recovery.img of=/dev/block/recovery
To log in to recovery
3. reboot recovery
Hello guy's I'm new here and I have a very simple question for now.... If it alright to flash my T95z with brand new version of android at the min it's 7.1.1 and all works correctly apart sometimes randomly restart the box while I'm watching TV any help would be appreciated
This tool is due for an update quite soon

I'm using unlocked bootloader with original kernel, baseband etc., but it should also work on a locked one. There are no bugs I've noticed.
OHHH, sorry. I had to remove paid launcher so there was no launcher left. Try the new download link, it contains ADW Launcher.

definitely the second option(external). Do You use xRecovery or CWM?
xrecovery/backup is a default folder where xRecovery creates the system backups. The path should look like this: (/sdcard)/xrecovery/backup/2011-12-04.00.00.28/here all the .img etc. files.
If You are using CWM paste "2011-12-04.00.00.28" folder to clockworkmod/backup/.
Make sure You have extracted this folder. It's not a flashable zip.
Sorry, I thought that there was also a folder in it, instead of all the files.

?Nougat!!!?Successfully flashed Twrp and rooted my VIE-AL10 in
Hello everyone !
I'm a normal user of P9plus(AL10) and using the EMUI5.0 (Android 7.0)
Firstly I am looking forward to getting matchable TWRP here but failed , so I turned to other forums and get up the nerve to use TWRP for the Honor 8 . Yes,it works ! and then,i rooted my AL-10 !
Here is the thread
https://forum.xda-developers.com/honor-8/how-to/twrp-nougat-edition-t3504140

I didn't patch boot because I was afraid that would made my phone goes bad .As a result,my root is not complete.
By the way ,the new TWRP 3.0.3 for Honor 8 by the same person doesn't work on our P9plus ,I have tried it:crying:
I hope that there would have official/unofficial TWRP correctly for P9plus!
Works on L09 too i used the phh su. it works for me

Unblock the bootloader as we do in EMUI 4.X , then flash TWRP with adb or other tools , there are so many guides in XDA or other websites. Then we could boot into recovery and flash superuser to root our device.
All we do it as before , except the different recovery.i mg .
The unpleasant place is that the recovery can not mount /data , and we should mount /sdcard ourselves. The new update seems to repair this but we ,p9plus couldn't use it. :crying:
As I said before ,the root is not complete, sometimes I can't do chages to system files.
Good stuff! I see Titanium works and Greenify works under the root mode, Secure Settings is able to install the system module as well.
Just so that everyone is clear, the TWRP flash is here: https://mega.nz/#!foR2DTRa!XjXjOVl4ykYzm3iyBknwFkxugj9z8zxch3mU1O7F7GE, data and system partitions can't be mounted properly on this version of TWRP but at least you can boot into it.
And you have to use the phh's SuperSu: https://forum.xda-developers.com/android/software-hacking/wip-selinux-capable-superuser-t3216394, the regular Supersu doesn't work (lead to device reboot).
Is anyone able to flash anything using the twrp though? This is the only thing that would seem to help me.

not sure that would work because the problem with 7.0 and emui 5 is that it encrypts the /data partition.

I did everything correctly to flash this recovery image, but ended up with lots of errors. After flashing the image and restarting the device, it start saying "touchwiz is stopped", "google play services has stopped", and lots of other apps similar errors. Even, these error won't allow me to use the device, and I just recovered after flashing the stock ROM again. What is it? Why is it happened!

It doesn't work. But if you only want to gain root, you can flash A520F twrp and use sideload function as I mentioned.
You can go into advanced on twrp and rebuild partitions to I thinks it's 2 then that will unlock them...

We have finnaly gotten TWRP for the Motorola One Deen
https://androidfilehost.com/?fid=11410963190603888689
ALL CREDIT GOES TO @Alberto97 FOR MAKING TWRP FOR A DEVICE THAT HE DOESN'T OWN!
How to flash:
You need ADB fastboot files
You need an Unlocked Bootloader: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_Zhqfzg__IA "full tutorial"
The recovery image: "link above"
Command: fastboot boot twrp-deen-0.img
Your warranty is Void!
I'm NOT responsible for broken devices or anything that will happen resulting booting twrp.
For some reason i have to explain that this it not flashing. It's booting. You need to use the command to boot to twrp every time.
https://androidfilehost.com/?fid=11410963190603868607
Update!
Thank you very much for your effort, will try it out soon.
However just out of curiosity, is it not possible to use the official TWRP for the Moto One Power (chef) https://twrp.me/motorola/motorolamotoonepower.html ?
I would assume those two phones are very similar in terms of partitions.
actually I just saw that Tys0n indeed used a "chef" based TWRP image on his root attempt ( link ) , I assume using this updated one from Alberto should be even better.

I have the same problem (black screen and only blinking LED when plugged in) after trying to switch the partition slot!
I'll try to see if I can fix this but so far it looks bad :/

Small update: the device is in QLOAD mode which apparently can be fixed with https://github.com/jareddantis/unbrick_8960

Ok, apparently the recovery can be done with blankflash.
If anyone knows how to get one for the moto one it would be greatly appreciated!
I sent it to guarantee and they gave me a new phone c:

There is no blank flash. Go back to where you bought the phone and tell them it was done by an update. Usually it is backed up by the warranty

For that you need RetEU Motorola one deen 1941-1. If you don't know how to get this info, you probably shouldn't flash.

Really? I mean, you agree to avoid warranty when you apply for the bootloader unlock code.

Not if it's bricked, and the warranty is still gone even if you relock. They just need to check up IMEI to see that you're out of warranty.

how did you flash stock rom?
It has few weeks that my stock ROM is having the same problem, MmdRza!
I click to install this ~87MB (in my cased it is precisely 86.4MB) updated and when it finishes I receive the following message in red colour: "Installation will continue when device isn't being used. To install now, tap Resume"
So, when I resume, the same looping occurs. The only thing that I did was root my device =(
Same here
I was screwing with custom roms and eventually decided to roll back to stock.
Installed the stock via twrp, upon first boot it said something is corrupt suggested to do factory restore and booted fine
Just now when I try to update I get the same issue. I personally stuck on V10.3.12.0.PFQEUXM
Someone help us please

Thanks mate but instructions were unclear - "download full OTA zip (not the incremental one, size must be above 1gb)"
Not sure were to get this full OTA zip for my EU A3

1. collection of Fastboot and OTA images at one place (use Google translate and click on "official firmware" ) http://4pda.ru/forum/index.php?showtopic=962154. Though there are Fastboot images with more recent versions available, so it doesn't make much sense to extract old OTA images yourself (unless you want to try it).
2. tune2fs must be run as root (adb shell; su; tune2fs)

Well that was almost 48H wild ride
lol looks im too dumb to run adb shell as root cuz after adb shell I always got 'not found' also couldn't find the actual up to date ota on 4pda
So I got slightly older ver. ota gave up on the tune2fs step and headed on extracting the system.img from the payload.bin then flashing it blindly using 'fastboot flash system system.img' and when done got thrown back to yesterday - no phone at all just plain xiaomi logo yayyy fml!
But! on the same 4pda I stumbled upon the latest V10.3.17.0.PFQEUXM Fastboot recovery, and after poking around the web re-flashing the whole damn thing with the stock fastboot rom seemed like not such a bad idea at this point of my frustration.
By now the whole a/b slot tuned into one huge salad in my head so I went for sure and this is what I did:
1. boot to fastboot manually
2. 'fastboot flashing unlock' (holding vol down to return back to fastboot)
3. 'fastboot' flashing unlock_critical (holding vol down to return back to fastboot)
4. 'fastboot --set-active=a'
5. flashed the extracted tar folder with MiFlash and holding vol down near finish to return back to fastboot
6. 'fastboot --set-active=b'
7. flashed the same extracted tar folder again with MiFlash and holding vol down near finish to return back to fastboot
8. 'fastboot flashing lock_critical'
9. 'fastboot reboot'
And hooray! It booted to latest updated rom will have to wait for next OTA update to see if it works at all :cyclops:
