I just bought this phone and it only seems to get 3g reception. I tried flashing an international firmware but it doesnt work. Tried changing CSC only/CP only using odin and didnt work. Any ideas?

I have my note unlocked with T-mobile and it is running fine but when I tried to put the 3g/4g modem on it I lose my signal. I've tried 6 different ics and 6 different modems and i've combinated them all and no luck! I've been working on this for a week now! HELP!!!!
Are you creating an APN for T-mobile?

Problem with mobile network "NEDJMA" on the Galaxy S i9000 / i9100

In first, please excuse my bad English.
We have a big problem in Algeria with the mobile network NEDJMA on the Galaxy S i9000/i9100, the sim isn't recognized, in best case, it's recognized, the network bars are here, but it's impossible to make or receive a call, it's unreachable. That problem doesn't exist with the others mobile networks (Djezzy and Mobilis).
For the i9000, I've try to flash many roms and custom roms, with so many modems, but in vain. the phone refuse to recognize the sim. i have also try to put that same sim in another i9000 with the same custom rom CM9 4.0.4 and the same modem JVT, and guess what, the phone recognize the sim and mobile network works great!
For the i9100p, I've flashed a JVS modem and I've reduced the frequency of network bugs from many in one day to 1 or 2 in 4 or 5 days.
So, what you think about this problem? if is not the modem who we should change? then what we should do?

i have bought a sgs3 on vodafone uk network , the phone was probably factory unlocked as my 3uk simcard worked.
my question is should i rebrand(flash a 3 uk firmware) my phone to 3 to improve the signal ?any help

No you should search for the Modems thread and take a look around there. Try flashing different Modems through CWM until you find a Modem which gives you a better/stronger signal.

Hello still need help with my mega 6.3. I installed CWM and its rooted...sure without simlock. All things were fine... it worked in Austria, Hungary and other cities. Now i am in spain and get no signal.
It doesnt work...i tried different carriers (Orange..moviestar) but nothing.
Is it possible that i used a wrong Radio ?! In Austria i am using TeleRing (TMobile)

since I've disabled the netlock (bought the code online which works very well), installed custom rom (CM12.1) I'm not able to get a connection when I'm using anything else than 2G EDGE.
At the moment I've installed the Stock ROM again (Android 4.4.2 ATO - because I'm using it in Austia - also bought from here).
APN Settings are correct. I've also tried to set WCDMA Pref in service mode. Without success.... The phone cannot registred into Network if I use LTE, Auto or WCDMA.
I don't belive this is a hardware issue. Because Edge is working fine.
Is there a way to reset the service mode? Or is this already done by installing stock rom?
What I've already thought is that this could be a problem with the band selection. But flashing the right rom (baseband seems also be correct: I9195XXUCNK1) has no effect.
I really hope that you have an idea what I could try next because I dont get it how to fix this.
