Recently I got to hear that google camera app won't work on mobiles with MediaTek processor. Can anyone in the forum know why?
Can anyone let us suggest an application best in camera performance... Similar to Google Camera HDR+ app... Its insane in its way.

Google Camera uses API called camera2API which helps it to directly get information from camera sensors and it is disabled in Realme / Oppo devices and only way to enable by end users are via root .

GCam app needs Camera2 API & EIS support.
Ask Realme at Facebook or Twitter...they may enable them in their next/future Firmware update.

With samsung devices you can use the two cameras at the same time (front and main cameras). I think that feature is called 'dual shot' or so.

Hi guys!
ARcore supported for wide range of Samsung devices, included S7/S7edge. Unfortunately, Google doesnt support Note FE, at least now. Guess that have to wait for the upcoming updates.
Is there a way to use ARcore & AR apps right now? Can we get a edited ARcore version to work with Note fe?

I found this version https://f.celsoazevedo.com/file/gcamera/GCam_6.1.021_Advanced_V1.5.190418.1850.apk which works ,but not all features. If you want, you can try it and test different settings, because there are not suggested settings for Galaxy A7 2018

Hi, in my A7 2018, Back camera is fine, but whenever I tried to change it to Front camera, the app closes. Please give me a suggestion

Hi. That's because of the Camera 2 API limitations.
I'm having the same issue.
Try downloading another versions. I found one that allows me to use the front camera with the full image resolution (24 megapixels), but the rear camera only can take photos with 8 megapixels, unfortunately.
Tell me the version that can use the front camera, please?
I have problems with night sight and front camera, I hace an Galaxy a7 2018 and it's bad for me, i'm a constant camera user and that perjudicate me.

So how would you make AR solutions for these phone?
Is there a way to tweak it so AR core can run on these phones?
I use Unreal/Unity to build apps and then I install the .apk directly, so I don't need google play.
I cannot buy all phones, but I suspect it will not work on these?

I'm thinking of buying the mi 10 and I wanted to understand the photographic quality of this device. (in particular I am undecided with the p30 pro and samsung s20 FE 5g)
I have read conflicting opinions on the camera of this smartphone.
Questions:
1) has the stock camera improved a lot over time?
2) does the gcam improve the final result a lot compared to the stock application?
3) can I use the gcam and the xml files of the mi note 10 also on the mi 10, if I only use the main camera?
4) alternatively where can I find the latest versions of the gcam and the relative xml files?

1. Camera is good but hasn't really changed
2. Yes it's a lot better but no 108mp yet. Think it's around 27mp or something like that
3. Yes but there's XML for mi 10 so bit pointless using note 10 XML
4. Install telegram and search for Mi/note 10 series - Google camera then you'll get mi 10 APK and loads of XMLs
