Anyone play PUBG? - LeEco Le Max 2 Questions & Answers

May I know what rom you use to play this game? I use RR ps version but it lag a little bit when the device is hot mostly when charging..

rom doesn't matter this game will make the phone hot always, specially when you're charging because of quickcharge, just play in front of a fan

I disabled thermal throttling in mine ...now it doesn't lag....but gets very hot
check if your device gets throttled using 'cpu throttling' app from playstore.

I disable quick charge in le eco extra and use normal charger (original lenovo charger) to avoid device became too hot and seems to be working but I noticed 1 thing.. When Im running and want to watch behind my back pressing the eye button will make the screen shaking. Only if I press the eye button.. But when I'm not charging, screen not shaking.. But its OK I guess..

I don't want my device to burn.. I though maybe there is a rom that handle games very well (even on throttle speed)

I am using Lineage OS. Performance is very good as i also played on HDR mode without framedrops but battery drains very fast.

I always use latest official build of LOS. You can use GFX tool to enable HDR mode and set fps to extreme for 60fps.

Lag while playing Mobile Legends

I don’t know if this is an issue with the game developer not optimizing their game for the new chips or if there is another underlying issue. The game was much smoother on my LG V30 using the same network and same settings.
I ran Anutu and I got a score of 264,567 so it seems like everything is running normally.
Anyone have any ideas?

PUBG lag on Poco f1

I have the 6, 64gb variant of the poco f1. Earlier It was running pubg buttery smooth on smooth and extreme settings, but now it lags a lot.
It is not unplayable but it bothers me because i've seen how good this device can perform and now this lag.
Is anybody else facing the same issue?
Can this issue be resolved?
I've tried uninstalling the app, didn't work.

Yes mate happening in my poco 6/64 variant too
Most likely thermal throttling
Have you tried using the gfxtool app to adjust the graphics settings, playing for longer periods will lead to thermal throttling as mentioned previously. Lowering the graphics settings even slightly and disabling shadows etc. Will help to decrease the load on the processor and thus keep the fps stable. Kill all running background applications before launching gfxtool/pubg. Also make sure to remove any protective case whilst playing to help keep the phone cool and most importantly give your phone a break every now in awhile after all it is just that.... a phone.
Hi Bro, you should unlock bootloader => install TWRP => install custom roms to use (pixel, Lineageos, EU rom)
I fell so good and improve so clearly if we use custom roms (I think pixel experience is the best)
It is the thermal throttling.
You have to unlock your phone to get a workaround.

Yeah bro I did encountered lag problem in MIUI10.2.3 global stable not in 10.2.2 I tried every custom ROM PE,nitrogen,MIUI EU, and MIUI Room and every kernel like extreme,Franco, sphinx, twisted kernel but no use pubg is lagging after playing 15-20 mins I think it is problem of pubg servers neither phone nor roms

a stupid game update
after all i think pubg is not yet fully optimzed for mobiles
it has many bugs/ glitches
& with developers adding more features without investigating optimization issue it will lag more & more

I am on beta rom miui 10 9.3.28, one thing is for sure the framedrops are because of thermal throttling, when my phone is cool and i start playing the game for the first 15 minutes or so it runs super smooth, after that the framedrops starts, it is very annoying, i have tried everything from gfx tool , removing phone case, not charging while playing. I haven't played around with the thermal configs yet someone posted here on xda, i have bought this phone only for pubg, Does someone have the perfect work around for the issue? Buying another phone is not an option

Pubg is laging in all phones not only in poco F1 it's pubg server issue change the server in pubg and have a try... I too faced but now I am playing pubg butter smooth
I have been facing lag on PUBG mainly while driving a vehicle. I thought it was happening due to using miui beta (open) rom. But I see even stable users and custom rom users are also facing occasional lags. Infact I was going through reddit and I saw people using Galaxy S10/ OnePlus 6T complaining the same. So I think there must be something wrong with the game only.

Everyone thinks the same way buddy. We think other devices run the game without lag. Other device users think our device runs the game without lag. The main problem is, PUBG is still not well optimised for smartphones (atleast for Android).

How to achieve a stable 60 fps gaming experience on POCO F1.

Hi does anyone here knows how to unlock the beast on Poco F1?
Like playing games that stays on 60 fps.
esp. on Mobile Legends and other heavy games.
Currently using Global Stable Miui 10.3.4
Kinda okay on games but i want to level up more my usual gaming experience.
any suggestions for custom roms, kernel and other tweak?
TIA for your answers.
I am playing Raid shadow legends and it has the 60 fps option in game, maybe the developer needs to add support in the game?
I'm also playing mobile legends, pubg on a solid 60fps. Don't know what you're talking about. Running stock rom, stock everything.
I am not a gamer but recently playing SHADOWGUN LEGENDS game and I was also having issues with low performance on Poco F1.
To enjoy game at 60fps:
1. Make sure the game support 60fps! - many games are locked at 30fps only. I guess PUBG is locked at 45fps?
2. Set the 60fps mode in supported game.
3. Play the game and see if game play is smooth as you want.
4. If not, your device is overheated and lower its performance rapidly. My Poco F1 is able to give full performance only for couple minutes, it drops down then up to 60% in some cases.
5. Get CPU Throttling Test app and let it run for 15 minutes - it automatically stops after this time.
6. I am sure you`ll see thermal throttling
7. To solve this get custom kernel, thermal profiles etc. - search on xda for it.
Keep Device cool don't charge it while playing. Mobile Legends turn on High Frame Rate it will run 60fps. for PUGB set graphics to Smooth and it will unlock Extreme settings for 60 fps. No need for custom rom or tweaks.
Well flashing Malakas kernel should do the job it is best for gaming , do check the geekbench scores after flashing the kernel if it's around 8800-9300 then I don't think you will face any problem while gaming but if the scores are still low (which was the case for me) flash PE ROM and then flash the kernel , best setup for gaming talking from personal experience
whats the best rom for gaming and battery for poco f1??

Yes i encountered the Thermal throttling btw which is sucks it will drop your FPS around 25-29FPS, it will stays around 1-3 minutes roughly.
Yes still looking for custom roms or kernel etc.

I am okay with the stock ROM Poco. Just make sure you turn on the high fps mode on the setting. Most game will turned off by default.
Download Google Play Services AR and make it to autostart.
Because, I installed Minecraft Earth, to play it Google Play Services AR required. Later I played other games and noticed an upgrade.
(Root required) Download GL tools from third party website (aptoide) and install. Then select your game, tick fake CPU and GPU option, use template, choose highest specs (meke the fake GPU Adreno 640) (RAM 8GB or above)
Stock kernel is the stable and best for gaming I guess.
And more.... Try using some build prop twerks (I don't know much twerks so Google it)

its depend of each person, I like because I can send messages or whatever while I am in game... It doesn't make the game more faster. It just clear memory cache, cleaning open app in background, show fps, etc.. If you don't like it u can uninstall it, ofc the battery drain fast because I am using this and playing.. I only use it for sending sms, going to telegram, etc while the game is searching any match, if I leave the game, it doesn't enter any match.

Great bro
You have 3 options for tweaking
Battery
Balance
Performance
Even with battery option performance is great
On my coustem config I had 0.3% per H, over night and ~1% per H idle draw on the day.
I first installed the magic Modul, but noticed the version is super old. I removed the magic Modul and install just the APK https://github.com/Paget96/LSpeed .
As far as I can see, it doesn't need magic Modul.
The app is easy to use. But it doesn't save your configs, even when use backup and restoring, so after an reboot need to config it again.

So... my 2cents after a few days of usage...
I have the Balance profile enabled, no other tweaks. Same usage between 2 days... one with, one without the app. With the app saved me 5% battery life.
In fairness, not really enough of a savings to make it worth keeping for me... I'll be testing Battery over the next few days and will report back on that.

I don't think so, but all this does it apply "universal" random tweaks that has not been needed on a smartphone since 2012.
Using this one a phone with the latest flagship precessor is completely unnecessary and in worst case scenario, harm your phone.

Placebo effect. These types of scripts might work on older devices but modern day ones if anything its worse and can in long run do more harm than good.
