Hi does anyone here knows how to unlock the beast on Poco F1?
Like playing games that stays on 60 fps.
esp. on Mobile Legends and other heavy games.
Currently using Global Stable Miui 10.3.4
Kinda okay on games but i want to level up more my usual gaming experience.
any suggestions for custom roms, kernel and other tweak?
TIA for your answers.
I am playing Raid shadow legends and it has the 60 fps option in game, maybe the developer needs to add support in the game?
I'm also playing mobile legends, pubg on a solid 60fps. Don't know what you're talking about. Running stock rom, stock everything.
I am not a gamer but recently playing SHADOWGUN LEGENDS game and I was also having issues with low performance on Poco F1.
To enjoy game at 60fps:
1. Make sure the game support 60fps! - many games are locked at 30fps only. I guess PUBG is locked at 45fps?
2. Set the 60fps mode in supported game.
3. Play the game and see if game play is smooth as you want.
4. If not, your device is overheated and lower its performance rapidly. My Poco F1 is able to give full performance only for couple minutes, it drops down then up to 60% in some cases.
5. Get CPU Throttling Test app and let it run for 15 minutes - it automatically stops after this time.
6. I am sure you`ll see thermal throttling
7. To solve this get custom kernel, thermal profiles etc. - search on xda for it.
Keep Device cool don't charge it while playing. Mobile Legends turn on High Frame Rate it will run 60fps. for PUGB set graphics to Smooth and it will unlock Extreme settings for 60 fps. No need for custom rom or tweaks.
Well flashing Malakas kernel should do the job it is best for gaming , do check the geekbench scores after flashing the kernel if it's around 8800-9300 then I don't think you will face any problem while gaming but if the scores are still low (which was the case for me) flash PE ROM and then flash the kernel , best setup for gaming talking from personal experience
whats the best rom for gaming and battery for poco f1??

Really? I doubt that dude no offense. How long do you play? When you said "solid 60fps" do you mean no hiccups all throughout?
What's your ROM Version?

Thanks dude! I always played MLBB for about 1-3 hours daily. Kinda 7/10 on the performance.
Yes i encountered the Thermal throttling btw which is sucks it will drop your FPS around 25-29FPS, it will stays around 1-3 minutes roughly.
Yes still looking for custom roms or kernel etc.

It can be dude it can be. But how long we're talking here? I doubt that solid 60 fps without a FPS drops/hiccups once in a while esp. while playing on long hours (no offense dude).

Yup Oxygen os is also good but I never really played games while I was using Oxygen os , as far as my current gaming experience is concerned almost all of the games that i play eg. call of duty , pes 2018 run on their maximum settings without any fps drops

I am okay with the stock ROM Poco. Just make sure you turn on the high fps mode on the setting. Most game will turned off by default.
Download Google Play Services AR and make it to autostart.
Because, I installed Minecraft Earth, to play it Google Play Services AR required. Later I played other games and noticed an upgrade.
(Root required) Download GL tools from third party website (aptoide) and install. Then select your game, tick fake CPU and GPU option, use template, choose highest specs (meke the fake GPU Adreno 640) (RAM 8GB or above)
Stock kernel is the stable and best for gaming I guess.
And more.... Try using some build prop twerks (I don't know much twerks so Google it)

I'm use RR and "Guide For PUPG.apk" when i set to HD Realistis in the app "Guide For PUBG.apk" is fery smooth no lag
sorry for my bad english
rr oreo by luis build is smooth tho, and use gfx tool for pubg apk then set resolution to lowest. You can easily get 60 fps even in 8x scope. But game graphic looks bad you know.
@ Superblazer can you find me lightest rom so i can play pubg smoothly on redmi note 4 2gb variant
Well only way is flashing a really lightweight rom like Lineage os 14.1 and a good kernel like francokernelnor electrablue kernel. Then overclocking cpu and gpu speeds thus changing governor from interactive to performance. Will give you stable 60 fps but battery will be drained fast so its up to you...
But pubg for for mido is locked at 25fps..hehe
On multipro pubg running smoothly,in Oreo roms I feel some lags and prob with rotation (screen shaking)
So I have recently got my k20 pro and joined the family. Now I have a question, how is the game performance on graphic heavy games for you? I am using the miui global and I can say I am not impressed. You might think that there shouldn't be a game that works slow on this phone but try Marvel Future Fight (yeah not everyone plays pubg) and my fps was so unstable it was even going below 30 time to time. I will now root my phone and try to change the cpu governor (as schedutil is not a good governor for performance) but I wonder if others have tested out different games and different roms with similar experience. I saw some people doing gpu overclock but I actually dont want to do that for now. And I saw a custom kernel so I wonder its performance as well.
For me the performance is quite good
Graphics heavy games? No problem at all
List of games that I've played :
- Traha
- Call Of Duty Mobile
- Perfect World
- Black Desert M
- Vainglory
All of that with maxed out graphics @60fps
ROM : xiaomi.eu
Antutu : 377k

hmm xiaomi eu might actually be better than original miui. Are you rooted btw? do you use kernel auditor?
Also thanks for reminding black desert I didn't realize it was released
Nope, im not rooted n didn't use kernel auditor
i noticed, the best so far is xiaomi. eu is the best so far

you have to disable google voice match to avoid this, and sometimes it breaks so you have to reboot but it hapens once every 3 months or so
Playing honkai impact 3 on max, 60 fps. Works without lag but the phone heats up. Global stable latest version
I'll try playing a game on Pixel Experience official if you're curious about the performance. You just have to tell me what game you want me to test.

Mi globe works ok with Assistant so I see no reason to use eu.

a long time mff player here , maybe mff doesnt support 60 fps ? also i not yet tested mff on mine k20 pro , but it works ok on mine pocophone , , can stay in game on galactus without crashing
İts great to see a fellow mff player here. I also tried at galactus and I saw fps frops there time to time. (not insane drops but sometimes 30 or so) I was checking fps from game turbo and it supports 60fps

Thanks for the offer. I was able to see fps drop only on marvel future fight so far but I don't think you can test the graphic heavy game modes as you will need to start a new game

traha 60fps? for real?
According to some Youtube videos, Mi A3 was performing poorly with gaming, as its firmware was supposedly unoptimised and full of bugs. One Youtube reviewer claimed that (I didn't bookmark the video so can't post the link) Mi A3 4/64 version was struggling to run PUBG even with Balanced setting (second from lowest), while Redmi Note 8, which has same chipset ran PUBG with Medium setting (3rd from lowest) quite well.
Now that I am planning to buy this phone, I wonder, if bugfix and optimisation updates have resolved the issues that this phone supposedly have.
In a nutshell my question is, how well can you play games on this phone right now?

PUBG runs quite well on HD settings with extreme FPS. However, I had to use GFX tools to unlock the settings. I'm on stock rom with no root.

How does it perform this way: HDR graphics, Extreme FPS, Realistic mode, Anti Aliasing ON?

Hi
im using POCOPHONE F1
andoird 10
MIUI 11.0.4 stable
no custom rom/kernel
and recently(after latest updates) my phone got so much slower and random freezes/fps drops happen even on very low graphics (in games)
gave Antutu benchmark a shot to see if its score got lower too
but i get a very good benchmark score of 363k
anyone knows whats wrong?

A lot of people don't believe antutu benchmarks. If u are playing games like pubg, everytime they(pubgm) send an update the phone again lags. And this happens with everyone.
I am on 11.0.5 and while playing pubgm, if enemy is not around me i get almost 50-60 fps in low settings. But when enemy is near, render lag happens and frame drops to as low as 30-40 fps.

Hi,
Kindly factory reset the device. I did the same and now the device runs without any issues. Earlier my device used to stutter and using camera for even a minute would heat it up.
I would recommend doing the update again via TWRP (If rooted, then reflash magisk). If not rooted, before doing a factory reset, try checking dev options and change the game driver settings of whatever game you are using to new driver. If still not working, then do a backup and do a factory reset.
Hi guys
I have an eu redmi note 9s 4gb ram. I have always lag and freeze problem with genshin impact with miui 12...any people tell me that with root, i can play good without lag. Whats the best rom for 9s? kinda late but MIUI 12.0 or 12.5 are pretty heavy. i have POCO F3 (snap 870) suppose to run the game perfectly fine but still lagging and unplayable. once i changed to Pixel Experience rom the gameplay is buttery smooth with no drop high settings. other games are fine like PUBG or CODM on MIUI but genshin no. as for not deleting game files is kinda impossible. the banking apps problem if you install rom without safetynet support. i reccomend pixel experience for your phone

Does your phone overheat or smth? If it heats maybe cpu throttling. While playing check if your cpus and gpu are running at higher clock and not capped at certain min values (eg. Max cpu clock 500mhz, running the game 450-500mhz. If not try to manually adjust or try another rom
I see. Well I'll try to cpu and gpu clock first. Any recommended app for that? Thnx btw

what's your gpu max clock speed? and its normal for the device to get little hot in 20 min or so. also check the cpu clock speed too ( i use fkm with root to monitor)
