I'm use RR and "Guide For PUPG.apk" when i set to HD Realistis in the app "Guide For PUBG.apk" is fery smooth no lag
sorry for my bad english
rr oreo by luis build is smooth tho, and use gfx tool for pubg apk then set resolution to lowest. You can easily get 60 fps even in 8x scope. But game graphic looks bad you know.
@ Superblazer can you find me lightest rom so i can play pubg smoothly on redmi note 4 2gb variant
Well only way is flashing a really lightweight rom like Lineage os 14.1 and a good kernel like francokernelnor electrablue kernel. Then overclocking cpu and gpu speeds thus changing governor from interactive to performance. Will give you stable 60 fps but battery will be drained fast so its up to you...
But pubg for for mido is locked at 25fps..hehe
On multipro pubg running smoothly,in Oreo roms I feel some lags and prob with rotation (screen shaking)

I just want to know which is the best rom and kernel to improve gaming fps on the phone. I play pubg and usually get 35* fps with frame drops. So it would be nice to have a better kernel. And also does having a new rom like ressurection remix will improve the gaming performance. TIA.

best rom would be stock one but u can go for pe or lineage with franco.....
Stock as it performs almost 30 percent higher than custom
For kernels sphinx and Franco are the most stable
Extreme kernel crashes way too much

So you say Stock + extreme would be the best ? Or if not, Franco ?
I bought the phone, still not here, and I want the best gaming experience possible

Extreme kernel has a history of crashing during benchmarks not just a small amount like 50 percent of the time it is unstable. I did benchmarks on it the scores are exactly the same as stock kernel and sphinx and Franco same exact scores all.
Some people on the forums are cheaters on benchmarks and will disable zram and fsync to reach 300000. It will mess up your internal storage longterm don't recommend it.
Use Franco or Sphinx kernel and use official MIUI because the performance is weaker on custom roms.
210000 - 230000 lineage
260000 - 280000 miui
For games use the chrysalis thermal module to disable thermal throttling, the throttling is pretty aggressive for the pocophone. There seems to be no problem when charging and normal stuff. Some people in the forums just delete the thermal files from the vendor folder.
You can set everything HDR and extreme 60 fps in pubg but just make sure the game is rendered in 720p giving about 46*c or else there will be overheating in 1080p gaming or 1440p.

I was looking for chrysalis thermal module, thanks.I guess i'll try the xtreme, and disable zram and fsync too(always did that). If crashing, then franco (never used his kernel, seems only hyped tbh but idk)
I use Xiaomi EU 8.12.27 + franco kernel, and set the maximum freq of GPU on 596 Mhz or 520Mhz, big clusters of CPU in 2.1 Ghz like maximum with the tool Pub Gfx paid version i set Zero Lag Mode ON, Graphics profile in HDR with Max FPS(60fps) + potato graphics, Render OpenGL 3.1, optimization GPU all, memory boost, safe mode and "save the configuration" experimental option enables. With all this settings i got on 25 min of gameplay 62°C of CPU and 44°C of battery.
i just noticed that the GPU works on pubg max settings on the lowest freqs usually, sometime it's on 414 or 520 Mhz but the major of the time is in the lower freq, the cpu its almost the same of the little clusters but for big cluster they are in 1.5/1.8 Ghz and the game run very smoothly, for me without fps drops and nothing.

You try any combination? Benchmark normally is cheating with miui.

MIUI has a custom thermal protection for some games like pubg and benchmarks like antutu, so if you consider this, miui is a good option for games than custom rom, if you install any module to disable the thermal protection on any custom rom it be the same than miui, but the problem is if you disable the thermal engine how you can control the temps of battery. In my opinion the best way for this is with a script that disable the thermal engine when you will be playing some games, and when you finished the game, run another script that enable the thermal protection, like this mod (click me c: )

every oem rom cheats nowadays.... watch ary he has better way the g factor
Stock MIUI stable 10.3.5 with Shadow kernel and smartpack kernel manager. Use gaming mode in the manager when gaming. I play PUBG in HDR extreme fps with all settings maxed out using GFX tools. There is no dropped frame even at 1%. It's smooth until it dies. The battery drains like hell though. About 1% per minute. No use plugging and playing. The device gets warm and it will discharge even though it's charging. I guess thermal limitation prevents fast charging then. Well, saw this thread now only so.. very late reply.
the rom have bug well you will hardly notice if does then they're insignificant one . well try RELOADED CAF dnt know about kernels am still confused about them . but this rom in itself so smooth and the thermals are so well maintained . i have been a fan of it .
As I'm thinking to buy poco F1?
How is the performance of the phone in games ?
Pubg ?
Is that worthy buying it?
Hey!
Actually, for PUBG I read that poco f1 is a killer. Some people reported great sot. You can make up to 4 hours gameplay without a phone to get hot or so. The phone has a good processor so u won't suffer from lag or something. I never used it but this is what I read from people who use it.
Suggest me some good custom roms?

Custom rom? Meh, try miui eu + extremekernel, best for gaming.
I'm on LineageOS + FrancoKernel
FK kernel manager (a paid app) has per app perfomance profile settings and there is a thermal profile named Pubg built in. I keep everything at max and Pubg thermal and can play without lags.
its great for pubg, i use smooth with extreme fps , and colorfull its looks really nice .
im using miui eu 10.3.4.0 stable
Hi does anyone here knows how to unlock the beast on Poco F1?
Like playing games that stays on 60 fps.
esp. on Mobile Legends and other heavy games.
Currently using Global Stable Miui 10.3.4
Kinda okay on games but i want to level up more my usual gaming experience.
any suggestions for custom roms, kernel and other tweak?
TIA for your answers.
I am playing Raid shadow legends and it has the 60 fps option in game, maybe the developer needs to add support in the game?
I'm also playing mobile legends, pubg on a solid 60fps. Don't know what you're talking about. Running stock rom, stock everything.
I am not a gamer but recently playing SHADOWGUN LEGENDS game and I was also having issues with low performance on Poco F1.
To enjoy game at 60fps:
1. Make sure the game support 60fps! - many games are locked at 30fps only. I guess PUBG is locked at 45fps?
2. Set the 60fps mode in supported game.
3. Play the game and see if game play is smooth as you want.
4. If not, your device is overheated and lower its performance rapidly. My Poco F1 is able to give full performance only for couple minutes, it drops down then up to 60% in some cases.
5. Get CPU Throttling Test app and let it run for 15 minutes - it automatically stops after this time.
6. I am sure you`ll see thermal throttling
7. To solve this get custom kernel, thermal profiles etc. - search on xda for it.
Keep Device cool don't charge it while playing. Mobile Legends turn on High Frame Rate it will run 60fps. for PUGB set graphics to Smooth and it will unlock Extreme settings for 60 fps. No need for custom rom or tweaks.
Well flashing Malakas kernel should do the job it is best for gaming , do check the geekbench scores after flashing the kernel if it's around 8800-9300 then I don't think you will face any problem while gaming but if the scores are still low (which was the case for me) flash PE ROM and then flash the kernel , best setup for gaming talking from personal experience
whats the best rom for gaming and battery for poco f1??

Really? I doubt that dude no offense. How long do you play? When you said "solid 60fps" do you mean no hiccups all throughout?

Thanks dude! I always played MLBB for about 1-3 hours daily. Kinda 7/10 on the performance.
Yes i encountered the Thermal throttling btw which is sucks it will drop your FPS around 25-29FPS, it will stays around 1-3 minutes roughly.
Yes still looking for custom roms or kernel etc.

Yup Oxygen os is also good but I never really played games while I was using Oxygen os , as far as my current gaming experience is concerned almost all of the games that i play eg. call of duty , pes 2018 run on their maximum settings without any fps drops

I am okay with the stock ROM Poco. Just make sure you turn on the high fps mode on the setting. Most game will turned off by default.
Download Google Play Services AR and make it to autostart.
Because, I installed Minecraft Earth, to play it Google Play Services AR required. Later I played other games and noticed an upgrade.
(Root required) Download GL tools from third party website (aptoide) and install. Then select your game, tick fake CPU and GPU option, use template, choose highest specs (meke the fake GPU Adreno 640) (RAM 8GB or above)
Stock kernel is the stable and best for gaming I guess.
And more.... Try using some build prop twerks (I don't know much twerks so Google it)

kinda late but MIUI 12.0 or 12.5 are pretty heavy. i have POCO F3 (snap 870) suppose to run the game perfectly fine but still lagging and unplayable. once i changed to Pixel Experience rom the gameplay is buttery smooth with no drop high settings. other games are fine like PUBG or CODM on MIUI but genshin no. as for not deleting game files is kinda impossible. the banking apps problem if you install rom without safetynet support. i reccomend pixel experience for your phone

Does your phone overheat or smth? If it heats maybe cpu throttling. While playing check if your cpus and gpu are running at higher clock and not capped at certain min values (eg. Max cpu clock 500mhz, running the game 450-500mhz. If not try to manually adjust or try another rom
I see. Well I'll try to cpu and gpu clock first. Any recommended app for that? Thnx btw
