The Aristo 2 Plus doesn't have a kdz specific file. It was never made, but tell me more about your issue. I need to know if you can get into fastboot or the OS. Have you installed TWRP yet?

I have installed TWRP, I can get to TWRP, fastboot, download mode, but I cannot get to OS.
Update: Actually, your message made me try lg bridge and this time it worked! I guess they finally updated it with the Aristo 2 Plus. So it's working again!

Hello there, I have one aristo 2 which was on secure startup so I tried to factory reset it with the buttons but it only shows me the droid bot and an exclamation mark with the words no command, so I tried flashing it with lgup flash tool but when it gets to the end of the flashing process and shows me complete on the PC the phone will not reboot. Instead it goes into fastboot. I tried both the upgrade and refurbish flashing method but the result is always thesame. I used minimal adb to reboot still thesame thing. The phone just goes the fastboot and that's it. Does anyone have any idea about this pls.

Like many others i recently got trapped into 'Security Error' problem and phone was refusing to boot-up.(after root i deleted some system apps )
luckily i found the solution
this guide should work for other LG's phone too.
so here are the steps:
1. update/install USB Driver for windows
2. now enter into "download/emergency mode" of your phone... but how??
(i) remove battery then insert battery
(ii) press and hold both vol+ and vol- buttons and connect to computer via data cable. you will see LG logo and '>download mode' on bottom of mobile screen.you will also hear a 'connecting sound' from PC that indicates that your phone is now connected.
3. disconnect the phone from PC(remove data cable) and install LG MOBILE SUPPORT TOOL
4. run that B2CAppSetup file, it will install LG SUPPORT TOOL online so wait for some minutes.
5. now in main window of LG MOBILE SUPPORT TOOL you will see "waiting for connection".
View attachment 2934639
6. connect your phone to PC (via data cable)
7.LG TOOL now should try to connect your phone to it, so wait for few seconds.
View attachment 2934640
8. now in LG TOOL got to 'OPTIONS' > 'UPGRADE RECOVERY'
View attachment 2934641
View attachment 2934642
9. make your self a cup of coffee or take a nap if your internet connection is too slow because it will download approx.500-600 MB of software and automatically install it on your phone.
(if your upgrading stuck at 4% then disconnect the phone and connect it again in 'download mode')

there is a another method too using kdz but that didn't work for me Flashing KDZ on LG L5 II
PIECE OF ADVICE: never ever try to delete any system app of Stock Rom otherwise you will get 'Security error' (not even after unlocking bootloader) and let me know if there is any solution to it.
tested guides by me on LG L5 ii e450 on win8.1:-
-for rooting [Guide] Root LG Optimus L5 II E450
-for CWM recovery (L5 II) CWM for Locked Bootloader(Beta 2)
-for unlocking bootloader (L5 II) Unlocked Bootloader (Optima Team)
Actually I've done it with locked bootloader and it's still working as a charm.

I did everything as shown but im still stuck. When i turn device one lg logo shows up, after a few seconds it spins around and i can hear boot sound, and lights turn on. I left it like that for about an hour but its still stuck.
device: LG e460
Thinking myself to flash orginal recovery. Atm thinking about booting into recovery via minimal adb in usb debug mode
Reason: i fail to boot into cwm since month with my e440. Recovery reboot wiget never worked also expeliced xposed model for this LG4ii has no boot into recovery option.
minimal adb code something like
adb devices #enter
adb reboot bootloader #enter
fastboot devices #enter insteat of fastboot may recovery or download
#in fastboot mode you can flash files by
fastboot flash recovery recovery.img #enter flash recovery.img

It seems the program just doesn't want to find the phone. I don't think it had Usb debugging enabled(Think that's the problem), cause its not my phone, but I have also tried changing usb ports, from usb2 to usb3 and restarted the phone. Any ideas?
It's great! Everything worked out without "stucking on 4%". The "security error" appeared on LG E450 after "rooting" and deleting some system apps.
Many thanks to author.
tried to flash my H901 but failed.
I cannot recover it in any way.
When it turns on it loops on the LG logo and a message: boot verification fail!
On Hard Reset it keeps looping on the same screen
On LG Bridge there is a message: Cannot check internal storage on your phone
On LG Flash Tool with H90120e_00_0316.kdz: error connecting to server
On LG UP with TotbypassFRPlgh901.tot: Antirollback version is smaller than device version
On fastboot flashing stock boot.img: writing 'boot'... FAILED (remote: unknown command)
I don't know what else to do, please help!!!

I tried using LG Flash Tool with H90120e_00_0316.kdz... it gave the connecting to server error. I had read that this is normal, that I should wait... I waited twice, overnight, and nothing happened.
Did you have success? if so, which version of Flash Tool did you use, with which specific kdz file? and what is your phone version?
Thank you for your input, I will try again using the KDZ I have.
This happened to me and I was able to unbrick. You have to get into download mode by connecting your phone to your computer and just hold the volume up button before it loops again. Then I was able to re-flash the kmz in download mode with LGUP.
What happened is I forgot to fully unlock the bootloader again after flashing the kmz. You have to do the fastboot portion as well (fastboot oem unlock). Then you can flash the tot file and continue the root process.

Your phone needs to be connected to PC for that to work. Check if you connected directly to onboard USB port and cable is OK. Also, check if you going in it right: full shutdown (preferebly with battery), hold vol-up and connect it to PC while doing it. It should show small frame with "Download mod" and some dots and go to actual download mode after it detectes connection to PC.

It either crashes completely, or says that some error occoured. I'm pretty sure I won't be able to use this phone again.
To begin with, I was trying to unlock Lg sp200 tribute dynasty phone , I was told that flashing lg k8 plus x210mula firmware will do it. Everything went well during flashing process using chip erase command on lg up software until it didn't.
The phone stuck in lg k8 plus logo, at first I went to download mode but then I tride hard reset way by using recovery method but everything went bad after that. I had been stuck at black screen since then with a message saying [LGE] [Image Recovery] op_image : 0 API Support : 3 and no ability to go back to download mode .
When plugged in, the phone was recognized by the computer for a few seconds beep and then disconnected after the message appears.
I tried lg up, lg flash tool and even plugging without battery using volume up method to get into download mode but no luck.
Now I need a powerful tool to get back to download mode to flash new firmware that I got recently.

Got a queation. Have you plugged your phone into a pc mac or linux machine to see if it registers. It being a qcom device it might show up as hsusb 9008 or qdl mode. If so you might be in the same boat as me. If it is check out QPST or QDL on linux and do some research. Im going to try to use qdl to revive my fortune2.
Worthy to note before attempting any kind of drastic procedure like exchange of firmware do extra research and make sure device hardware is compatible with the firmware you are trying to flash.
Some phones like the LG LMX210 variants called CV1 are pretty much interchangeable running the same hardwares. But there are a couple like my ulma that run mtk. Flashing mtk with qcom or vice-versa cause really bad. Thats not what i did i was just tired and wasnt paying attention to my procedure list and well you know it happens.
Hi,
I tried to upgrade my LG V30+ US998 to android Pie via TWRP but after the upgrade and system reboot the device got stuck in LG logo.
The download mode isn't working (device not being detected).
LGUP shows the device as "unknown" and adb is not detecting the device either.
I can't boot into TWRP anymore and flashing via LG flash tool 2014 fails (asks for server connection!).
I installed all the tools and LG mobile drivers on another computer and had no luck!
Do I have any chance of recovering my phone?

Why can't you boot to TWRP?
Use the hardware button dance, if you must.
__
Are you using the latest Dev Patched LGUP from the Pie KDZ threads? Uninstall any prior version and read the instructions carefully.
___
Your phone is not bricked. No one ever bricked their phone trying to update to Pie. Being stuck on logo is not bricked.
Tons of people get stuck on logo. So what? Then they re-flash 20h or whatever.

Reinstall LG Mobile drivers again.
Uninstall Dev Patched LGUP completely. Delete the folder from Programs/LG Electronics to make sure.
Re-install the Pie Dev Patched LGUP. Use the SetDev.bat in right click Administrator mode.
Then REBOOT the PC. You've installed two major PC components and Windows needs to process that.
Go into Download mode MANUALLY before opening LGUP. ONLY open LGUP from the desktop shortcut, not the folder icon.

I tried every possible combination of the available apps.
Phone in download mode not recognized by the computer (tried on two computers).
If I connect the phone into the computer and open the LGUP it shows as "Unknown"
For some reason TWRP got wiped out after flashing Pie rom and I cannot boot into twrp to flash the old Ore rom.
I finally managed to fix my phone.
Below are the steps:
1- boot the phone im fastboot (connect to tbe computer via USB cable and press and hold both power and volume down until phone reboots then quickly release the power button and hold the volume down until the fastboot menu appears)
2- copy the twrp image into adb folder and rename to twrp.img
3- download and copy a working rom (in zip format) and paste into micro sd card and insert into phone
4- open the command prompt as administrator and navigate to adb folder then type the following commands in sequence
Adb devices
fastboot devices
fastboot flash recovery twrp.img
fastboot boot twrp.img
Now your phone will boot into twrp and you can install the Oreo zip rom into phone and enjoy using your LG phone again!
Thank you!
I've added this to the US998 Pie KDZ thread. That KDZ is very wonky. It's the only Pie people have problems flashing. Probably because LG has not yet released Open Market US998 and the one we are using is technically for U.S. Cellular US998.
I had no trouble flashing it myself -- on my backup V30+(former LS998) going straight from Nougat (never updated, it was my backup phone) to Pie through Dev Patched LGUP Refurbish mode. But lots of other people seem to have problems.
On my daily phone, I'm still on rooted stock Oreo with Magisk and Xposed mods.

I think part of my problem was the Pie ROM.
I have the US998 UCL version and I've read that the LG only released the Pie update for LG V30 US998 model with the Buyer suffix (1CL, UCL, UCK) and US998Z (UCL) only. But I could be wrong!

Right. LG has not yet released the Open Market USS98 KDZ yet. Theory is LG is waiting for the Sprint Pie KDZ to be accepted by Sprint. Open Market USS98 is the official North American carrier unlocked variant that needs to work with all carriers. So, Open Market US998 Pie KDZ (if ever released) will incorporate testing results from the long-delayed Sprint LS998 Pie KDZ (whenever it's finally released).
