LG E460 bootloop, can't open recovery or anything else - LG Optimus L3 II, L5 II, L7 II, L9 II

So, I've had this problem before, and I know that I managed to get my pc recognise that I plugged in my phone, and updated it with the LG Support Tool but this time nothing seems to be working. If anyone could give me some advice on this problem, I'd be really happy, as I'd really need my phone right now. Thank you in advance.

Download last Europe Open KDZ for your phone from here. Then try start your phone in emergency/download mode and use LG Flash Tool with downloaded KDZ.

That is the problem emergency/download mode doesn't work either. It could be that I'm doing something wrong, but all I get is the bootscreen.

Try this steps to emergency mode:
JerryGoyal said:
2. now enter into "download/emergency mode" of your phone... but how??
(i) remove battery then insert battery
(ii) press and hold both vol+ and vol- buttons and connect to computer via data cable. you will see LG logo and '>download mode' on bottom of mobile screen.you will also hear a 'connecting sound' from PC that indicates that your phone is now connected.

If it'll work, continue with LG Flash Tool.

Unfortunately, the software updater always "stops due to an unknown error". If you have a solution for that, I'd be more than happy to read it.

Yes I did. It said download mode on the bottom.

Then make sure you have installed LG Mobile Driver, if not, download and install it from LG site. Also make sure you have downloaded correct KDZ for your phone and have copied it to "LG Flash Tool 2014" folder and use CSE Flash.

Hm, what model number?
1 - Download last Open EU KDZ for LG L5 II - V10P
2 - Install LG Mobile Driver from here
3 - Put your phone to download/emergency mode
4 - Flash KDZ with LG Flash tool using CSE Flash by this tutorial

Well, I was using an earlier KDZ, maybe that's what was causing the problem. I'll try using this one.

Help Me Please!
My phone CAN'T boot up!
Not happen when i press Power button
My computer cant find device (OMAP44...) when i connect with USB cab
I Can't Install driver for it
My phone is realy died
To use OMAP driver (with a bricked phone), you must remove your battery then plug your phone (without battery) to your computer : you should see the OMAP device appear and disappear in a loop. Be fast and install the driver while it's here.

Only the sound (connect and disconnect) without OMAP device
Strange, if Windows make the connection sound, then, it should appear (and desappear, and reappear...). Maybe you should try on another Windows installation (on another computer).
Apparently, if you flash official LG firmware with a locked bootloader you won't be able to brick your phone. So there will be some way to recover your phone. Can you boot into SW Upgrade mode?

I can boot into SW mode, but my phone SWmode can't use KDZ_FW_UPD_EN,If I want to change the rom i should boot to os and set the LG Software mode to change my rom
Have you tried the complete offline flashing process from the beginning to unbrick your phone? If the computer still recognises your phone in SW Upgrade mode, you will be able to unbrick it
If you were on JB before bricking your phone (and obviously, you were : "I'm using Vietnam V20a Rom"), the offline KDZ flash method doesn't work, you must apply the online KDZ flash method.

OK. Two options to solve this problem.
1. You can use LG Mobile support tool to recover your phone. Load it from LG website select recover phone from menu.
or
2. Flash ICS u boot & x-loader via fastboot. Please refer to to fastboot tool at http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2292828 after that your computer should reconize your phone in S/W update mode and you can flash kdz.

I mean in fastboot script by Lelus, there're option to flash ICS u-boot & x-loader. Did you flash it on your phone? Because on JB KDZ flash tool cannot detect our phone. It work fine if our phone have ICS u-boot / x-loader.

Help_bricked my TMobile LG G2 :(

Hi guys. I got the Tmobile LG G2 and it was running on Android 4.4.2 LG G2 D80110c. Then I changed the dpi by editing the build.prop via root explorer up but when the device reboots, it shows system force close and I basically cannot do anything. I realized that my TWRP recovery hadn't installed successfully and also I think download mode is not working. Computer recognizes the device when it is on... Can someone please tell me how to unbrick my device? Is there a way to install TWRP at the current condition of the phone? I think I cannot use lg flashtool because that requires the phone to be in download mode, while mine can't get in download mode...please help! thank you!
Edit: also when I try to hard factory reset the device it shows: ERROR: boot certification error and it gets stuck in black screen.
What I can think of is a way to manually install TWRP via adb or manually flash a kernel that supports custom dpi, but the only problem is that I don't know how to do that...

theres several things you could do.. try srk tools to try and fix twrp, or fix download mode using nuke download.. i dont know how to i just know theres a way to do it.. if other fails and it doesn not go into download mode then you must short circuit the motherboard.... then look at thread g2 hard brick fix..
here but try other first as this one you have to open phone..

I don't think my phone is hard bricked. USB debbuging is on and computer recognizes the device when it boots up. I simply don't know how to install twrp via adb commands or alternative methods ... or how to manually flash a custom kernel that would allow normal device boot up when dpi is changed.

I tried using LG Flash Tool with H90120e_00_0316.kdz... it gave the connecting to server error. I had read that this is normal, that I should wait... I waited twice, overnight, and nothing happened.
Did you have success? if so, which version of Flash Tool did you use, with which specific kdz file? and what is your phone version?
Thank you for your input, I will try again using the KDZ I have.
This happened to me and I was able to unbrick. You have to get into download mode by connecting your phone to your computer and just hold the volume up button before it loops again. Then I was able to re-flash the kmz in download mode with LGUP.
What happened is I forgot to fully unlock the bootloader again after flashing the kmz. You have to do the fastboot portion as well (fastboot oem unlock). Then you can flash the tot file and continue the root process.

Your phone needs to be connected to PC for that to work. Check if you connected directly to onboard USB port and cable is OK. Also, check if you going in it right: full shutdown (preferebly with battery), hold vol-up and connect it to PC while doing it. It should show small frame with "Download mod" and some dots and go to actual download mode after it detectes connection to PC.

Hey Gr8GuyInSF
1) Download LG Bridge on your PC-computer
2) Make sure your LG Aristo 2 Phone is off and then connect the usb cable into your LG Aristo 2
3) Hold the volume up key
4) Connect the other end of the usb into the PC-computer
5) Your phone should be in download mode-- open LG Bridge
6) Click on Software Recovery Tab
7) Click on the blue underlined Update Error Recovery

The Aristo 2 Plus doesn't have a kdz specific file. It was never made, but tell me more about your issue. I need to know if you can get into fastboot or the OS. Have you installed TWRP yet?

I have installed TWRP, I can get to TWRP, fastboot, download mode, but I cannot get to OS.
Update: Actually, your message made me try lg bridge and this time it worked! I guess they finally updated it with the Aristo 2 Plus. So it's working again!

Yep, after LG Bridge fixed the boot issue I was able to go through all the other steps posted to install TWRP and Root. The phone is working normally again

So now your ready for ROM's. I have a custom ROM available via the link on my signature. It's a stock light rooted DeOdexed debloated room.

Hello there, I have one aristo 2 which was on secure startup so I tried to factory reset it with the buttons but it only shows me the droid bot and an exclamation mark with the words no command, so I tried flashing it with lgup flash tool but when it gets to the end of the flashing process and shows me complete on the PC the phone will not reboot. Instead it goes into fastboot. I tried both the upgrade and refurbish flashing method but the result is always thesame. I used minimal adb to reboot still thesame thing. The phone just goes the fastboot and that's it. Does anyone have any idea about this pls.
