SM-G9600 or SM-9650 Snapdragon variant. Why? Unlocked bootloader, better battery life, doesn't overheat under heavy usage. No issues with carriers, FM radio, Samsung Pay, fewer bugs, better gaming speeds. Likely fewer custom ROMS than the Exynos variant but they're available and the list is growing.

I've googled this and some sites say yes and others say no ?

No, the GT-I9300 model does not and will not support 4G. This is the reason why the US Variants use a different SoC, as it has an inbuilt support for 4G, while the Exynos SoC does not.
4g is an absolute battery killer from what I can gather anyway, so not really bothered, do most of my downloading at home or over openzone
I reckon a Korean version would still give you the superior Exynos SOC, 2GB RAM and LTE/4G. I'm looking for somewhere to buy them. AFAIK Korean Telecomms use the same radio spectrum as we do.
The LTE version will soon be available in Germany,
Contact Orange in UK!!!!!!

Yes that would work, although I would contact orange and see if they would comment on this, although try to make sure it would go through to someone in the UK not someone in India who is reading from a script!
If you do buy it from Korea be careful with ROM's and don't forget about import tax!

I'm looking for a Z2 and i live in Iran and LTE at all not useful for me, but I don't know what's the difference between these two model.
I think LTE version has more battery usage, it's it true?
Have i any other things that I must know about LTE and NORMAL version?
Thanks

The only difference is that the D6503 support LTE networks, while the D6502 does not. If you really don't need LTE (yes, it does use more battery), then just go for the D6502.

@hush66
Thanks for your answer, when we compare ONLY cpu benchmark both are the same?
In fact we don't have any difference between these two model without network ability, am I true??
And which one have more custom ROM? and have more support??

Yes, they're using the same chips so the CPU benchmarks are the same. Yes, no other difference except the D6503 supports LTE network.
With other phones, 3G-only and LTE versions were generally priced the same. If that's the case, you should go for the D6503:
• Resale: it will also appeal to people in LTE countries
• Future-proofness: LTE could come to you before your next phone
If the radio is set to 2G/3G only, battery life SHOULD be the same between both models
Any ROMs SHOULD be supported in both.
as I live in an area with bad signal I am specifically interested in comments on the g5 performance in such environments, especially compared with other phones.
thanks for all sort of input!

Comparing to
Samsung. Note 4 and 5
Lg G4
Samsung galaxy s4 and s5
I have all of them tested against
Lg G5
And Lg G5 will have 1-2 bars where other phones will not pick anything....
So definitely Snapdragon X16 LTE modem is real winer in reception side from other phones
I have also confirmed Band 12 working on T mobile
In Detroit area at my house now I hit 126 mb/s with this device where Note 4 and Lg g4 are close with 119 mb/s

I do have two phones that I use non stop and I travel all over USA
LG G4
LG G5
And LG G5 is so far best of all phones with internal antenna that preform like ?

Ok i have sprint, im hearing great things for all carriers regarding signal strength
Two days with EE in UK with my Z2 and G5, no difference usual but on odd occasion when Z2 is no signal I get one bar on G5. Thumbs up from me.
i am from india, here i am using Jio carrier, i am getting very low coverage in G5, whereas my Moto x play was getting fairly good coverage.
My G5 is getting too hot and battery is draining fast with Jio
If you do could you please post some links.I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks In advance!!!

Are does it need to receive p update in order to have 5 G capabilities. Thanks
Googled the question, here is the basic answer.......The existing phones cannot support 5G as it is new Radio Access Technology. So you require a new modem which should support*this. Be aware that no existing smartphones can support 5G.*

I got that as well but T-Mobile told me that the s9 plus had the software to handle 5G technology that why I asked the question because I was not sure. Thanks

They meant 5GE maybe, which is really just 4G LTE with updated software, another way to scam people who don't do research before buying. It's good that you asked.
