I am using RedmiNote4 Snapdragon version. I am on DOTos v2.2. Whenever i try to flash any kernel, sometimes ROM(despite using lazyflasher),
I am stuck on bootloop!Either i have to flash the stock boot.img again or flash the ROM again. Used latest twrp!
I have tried redwolf recovery and twrp exclusive too!
But all in vain. This happens too frequently. I'm fed up!!!! :silly:
Please help!

I guess you're using a treble enabled ROM and flashed a non treble kernel or vice versa. Try flashing a treble kernel.

Franco Kernel is good if you want performance.
Kud Kernel if battery life is more important for you.
Both of them have Treble and non Treble kernels.

I have officially unlocked my phone and installed Strix's latest TWRP and the official CM 14.1 with firmware and all that but I got the bug where battery percentage would not change until a reboot.
So I tried to install the Radon custom kernel to fix it, but alas I got stuck in a bootloop.
I have tried both versions of Radon both the nougat versions and I tried AssassinX kernel too.
If anyone knows of a solution for this it would be much appreciated.
Check the radon thread, there is a problem with the latest Strix's TWRP.

Are you flashing an incompatible kernel? Usually that's the case

No. G925F Nougat custom kernels what i try.
I tried Radon Kernel on Havoc OS, AOSP Extended and Nitrogen OS. I did the same with Franco Kernel on the same ROMs. The device was stuck on MI logo. I waited for some time and yet it didn't boot up.
Here are the steps I followed:
Flashed Custom ROM
Flashed Custom Kernel
Gapps
and Lazy Flasher
Is there something I'm doing wrong here. In the order or anything? I need help!!
(I checked to see if my bootloader got locked but it's fine)

Sorry, I was asking about when I should flash the cutom kernel. I see you didn't mention anything about the kernel in your answer.

Yes it does. I flash lazy flasher every time I flash a new custom ROM. Should I not flash it when flashing Custom Kernel?

It didn't work
I flashed miui 10 pie global dev and then I flashed another Rom and still the same bug
I flashed xiaomi.eu_multi_MI8LITE_9.2.21_v10-9. And it worked, search for it on xiaomi.eu flash it and boot after setting up the wizard reboot to twrp factory reset and flash any custom rom. If it dosent work flash stock rom with fastboot method and it should restore audio
Same here, I tried to miui.eu, doesnt work either
Also mic and cam doesn't work
You don't need to flash the entire stock PIE ROM guys. Only the firmware.

Yes and it works fine
Yo, Using twrp to install custom ROM will corrupt sound hardware, Becuz Twrp can't fully Install Custom ROM, So you'll need to use CWM recovery (ClockWorkMod) to Install Custom ROM correctly. Using CWM recovery worked for me.
