Are you flashing an incompatible kernel? Usually that's the case

I've a little Question.
I want to root my Phone. I've installed latest official Marshmallow update (G925FXXU3DPDP) and don't know what's the way to root. The cf-autoroot from File Chainfire is different from my current Buildnumber.
I saw a Video from "Highonandroid" in that he first flashed the SpaceX Kernel and then the Twrp, does this work?
One more Question: When i flashed Twrp and want to install a 5.1.1 over the Official Marshmallow, do i get a bootloop then?
Sorry for the Questions, but i am new at this and don't want to do anything wrong
Flash twrp as in original android development section. Then flash supersu.zip.
And no 5.1.1 rom on MM booloader.

If your firmware is before 4DPG2 you could still downgrade.

Doesn't matter if the build numbers aren't exactly the same. As long as your device is g925f zeroltexx the root will work fine.
I have 6.0.1 g925f and i used cf autoroot a few days ago and no issues or errors

Yeah you can use flashify to flash your roms and zips. Make sure you make backups first though of your kernel and recovery. Just incase.
Enjoy buddy
I am using RedmiNote4 Snapdragon version. I am on DOTos v2.2. Whenever i try to flash any kernel, sometimes ROM(despite using lazyflasher),
I am stuck on bootloop!Either i have to flash the stock boot.img again or flash the ROM again. Used latest twrp!
I have tried redwolf recovery and twrp exclusive too!
But all in vain. This happens too frequently. I'm fed up!!!! :silly:
Please help!

I guess you're using a treble enabled ROM and flashed a non treble kernel or vice versa. Try flashing a treble kernel.

Franco Kernel is good if you want performance.
Kud Kernel if battery life is more important for you.
Both of them have Treble and non Treble kernels.

So how can we backup stock kernel? I want to know too.
Flashify can do that.
TWRP has option to backup boot partition, but haven't used that, so can't tell if this backup contains kernel, maybe somebody can tell this.
