I guess we will have to wait for it then. :\
The method mentioned in the below link will surely work for the Huawei honor holly as well.

But we need to modify codes specifically for this device.
Right now am trying to modify it, but stuck at the signature verification error.
Am having very least development experience .
Any persons who wish to work for this device there means please post replies here or reach out to me via PM.
I could share further more details .

Hope someone does the magic soon. Can't wait to root this killer phone, it works so smooth even without root, with root the possibilities are practically unlimited. :good:

Dude, how much you paid for the mobile, always take that in consideration first. Don't expect a 3GB RAM, 5000mAH battery, 5.7 inch screen in that price. I mean, seriously? Buy a costlier phone if you need high specs.
Dude i use moto e as well. Excellent performance and stable and dependable phone . Can charge moto e fully and can travel with out any worries.
I am not taking into consideration about the technical jargons like 3-4gb RAM or Hd display etc.
But a battery life of atleast 13 hours wit normal usage ( just email notifications and watsapp ,no videos or games) is bare minimum what a customer should expect .
Anyway. If root is obtained i believe we can tweak it to increase the battery life.

I get very good battery backup on my phone. After 12 hours of usage my battery is down about only 50% from 100%
I think that's very good battery backup considering a 5" screen on a 2000mAh battery.
I don't know what apps you use but I am not having any battery issues whatsoever.
Guys I did it.

I wanted to ask you guy if the update is worth it or not. I am really happy with 4.4 because of the battery life that usually last for 2 days and I don't want that to be compromised by lolipop update. does the update improve the battery performance?
how did this end up in this section . Please moderators move it to ask section of the Xperia Z2
is it possible to porting Sony Xperia Battery Care app to installed on any non stock Sony firmware (AOSP, CM)? if possible, can someone or developer ported that app? I think Battery Care really usefull to avoid overcharge when we sleep and our phone charged in the night
sorry for my eng.
Continuation of the 2014 thread.
OK, I'll chime in. Just short of paying $1K for the new Note 8, I'd say the Z Ultra still holds its own.
Yup , Z ultra is my dailly driver for almost every thing , amazing battery and running KK, Aosp MM , lollipop , marshmellow and Noughat almost every thing , I bet it will run Oreo as well , coz of its powerful hardware ... if by any mean we will get the binaries and some devs who are still working on building .for this amazing machine..

I can ask you a tip ...
I had this terminal just came out, but then I sold it, now I bought it back, and as soon as I got installed a number of roms, but in all the roms I tried the battery convinces me. I changed the battery, but I think but I do not think the situation is combiata.
What rom you use?
Anyone still using Sony ultra z in Nvember 2020? I got myself a Huawei mate pro30 - like its speed , camera and the fact I can install as many applications that I like without worrying for its storage space and memory. Yet scrolling Facebook just on it just made me missed my Sony ultra z - I miss the big screen and the Xperia Chinese keyboard which offers t9 English keyboard and ability to write Chinese on it. I bought Huawei mate30¤ pro as it's half its original retail price and the fact of it has 5G option makes it an easy ( but regrettable decision)...

Yeah, still using it, for the same purpose I purchased it back in 2014. With OruxMaps it gives a great Bicyle GPS. It is easy & Cheap to repair (Battery, Screen, all easy to get) and I even bought a second one as backup. Latest Android 5 updates were supplied from this forum until end of last year - what more can you expect? Further Software updated would be great, but it will even continue to work without...

If you want a capacity measurement by app you could try 3C Toolbox (Pro). IIRC it runs also on Kitkat.
It outputs many values as AccuBattery like estimated capacity, actual voltage, current in mA.
I have both 3C Toolbox and AccuBattery apps installed and the estimates in capacity are very close! (just because 2 got The same result it doesn't make both got it right).
