I just got an update today, haven't got the camera night mode update yet and found only these in the picture attached.
Should I do this update first then get the other update from firmware finder? I can't check for updates now because it already found the other update.
I have yet to see actual PROOF from actual Mate 10 users that -ONE- : Night Shot update exists, and -TWO-: that it is being rolled out, and -THREE-: that the Night Shot is the AI Stabilized Night Shot mode from the P20 Pro line and not some updated normal night shot.
Take from that what you will..

I can tell you it's there in C432B145, but I didn't really use it prior to this build so I can't say if it's better than the "normal" Night shot.
Im on c432 145 and its way better then the old one

1st looks dope
I got the update (C185) that enabled night shot and face unlock on my Mate 10 a couple of days back. The night shot works really well handheld, it shoots for about 4 seconds and gives a very high dynamic range image.
What version you have?

I just got the phone back this morning, but so far I think there is a slightly batteryperformance, but it is hard to say for sure. But it has solved my problem with display dim all the time

I get my OP Two today, I will be working on a kernel from the moment I get it or maybe I will jump ahead and start before. I am looking for a variety of testers to join a hangouts group to ensure it is stable for daily use.

I ordered mine two days ago, first thing to do with the beast will be to root it. Count me in for a alpha/beta test! Unstable sh*t is just exactly my cup of tea

When did you order yours? Mine says "Pending shipment" since 09/09, but I ordered a load of accessoires with it (StyleSwap Cover, Otterbox, PowerBank Bundle and a Silicone-Case fot the PowerBank), so that may take longer to ship to Germany...

How is battery vs stock?

Battery is still on going test, what i noticed is that there is delay when the phone is in deep sleep, it will not recognized your fingerpritn quickly, you need to press the power button.
Flashed R2, been using Zzmoove on big core, impulse on little core. Using msm hotplug.
During screen off, the phone took longer to respond to my fingerprint. Stock is like 0.5sec longest, while this kernel took 2sec longest and sometime doesn't rven read my fingerprint ._. That happen not when deep sleep, it happened after turn off the screen via power button.
For the battery life review, will wait until tomorrow and will include game performance, etc.

I'm using this amazing phone in the last weeks and i noticed that, when exposed to sun or close to a light source, the screen starts brightening up until black gets almost light grey and colors start saturating. Then i tried to cover the light sensor and in a couple of seconds the screen reverts to original brightness and colors. The phone did this since the first day and noticed that my gf's is working perfectly. Already tried to flash, root and update but nothing changed.
Anyone else had this issue? What should i do?

Yes, I have the same issue too! I think there's nothing we can do... At least with the stock ROM. In fact, if I don't find any big cons, I will flash CM13. I'm sooooo tempted
There is something on the new sd820 assistive display not sure it's on with the std rom I know using rooted and use lspeed app u can force it on.

I was thinking to change rom too, but i still find the stock rom to be pretty good(let's just say not so crappy) , plus this is the only issue i had with this beast, so for now i'll keep it clean.
In fact i tought about resolving the issue by myself but it will take time. In case i'll keep the post updated

Yeah, i agree...Looking for other roms I found that they're so buggy... Will keep it with Cuoco92's rom. Thanks for keeping the thread updated

AND another question: when I updated to 7.1.1 my LTE+ activated, and I feel it drain more battery than LTE. is that true??

Same here. I've been using stock BTU for like 2 months now. But battery life recently has been terrible. I can barely get 3hr SOT. Hopefully Oreo update that we maybe will get this year is going to fix that. Or even a Nougat update would be nice. As long as it fixes battery life..
Latest Oreo for N8 Exynos is currently CRB7 btw.

If you're struggling to get 3 hours SOT it's most likely a rogue app rather than firmware-related.

I haven't installed any apps on it. I just use it to browse web and for alarm. It also gets pretty hot.
Edit: but it only happens on BRA8. Before it was okay. I should probably flash odin version of BRA8 and that would probably help.
I just noticed that after the update that the animation scale in dev ops had changed to 1x from the 0.5 I had it set at, haven't noticed anything else as that note 8 isn't my daily driver but will be interesting to see if it happens to this one as well
Got it after manually updating, wonder how much more the 8.0 update will be delayed!

I m getting ultra low download speed for the update. After 24 hours, i am stuck at only 15 percent. Anyone else having the same issue?
The update definitely has improved the battery life.
