Hello,
The box i'm talking about, has 1gb of ram, which i'd like to expand. On the internet, i could get hands on a 2gb ddr3 ram chip, similar to the ram chips on the board. On the board are 2 chips ddr3 each 512Mb. About 200Mb is used for the gpu i think. This leaves 800Mb for the os. Now i have a chinese heatgun with small nozzle. It can go to 1000degrees celsius(the display shows this). Now my question is how do i install the extra ram chip without destroying the board?
Grtz,

not sure how much ram it have to begin with but adding more ram

best left to people who are pro at it
you can try searching for threads about the stores who offer it for surden
htc devices and see if they do it for other devices
Yes, it is possible. just google
asus p750 128 ram site:asusmobile.ru

Hi guys, I wanted a 9.7" tablet but not sure what to go for so would appreciate your help. This would be my first ever tablet!
I want something to read books on and play game/surf web/watch youtube etc, budget is $220 USD. I've done some research and have narrowed it down too (prices I got online added next to each tablet):
Ampe A90 $210
(has 1.2Ghz A10 CPU; 1GB DDR3 Ram and 16GB internal storage, plus 7000mAh battery)
ONDA VI40 $220
(has 1.5Ghz A10 CPU; 1GB DDR3 Ram and 16GB internal storage, plus 5000mAh battery)
ICOO D90w $218
(has 1.2Ghz A10 CPU; 1GB DDR3 Ram and 16GB internal storage, plus 5000mAh battery)
Cube u9gt2 $209
(has 1.2Ghz Rockchip CPU; 1GB DDR3 Ram and 8GB internal storage, plus 8000mAh battery)
Ployer Momo11 $200
(has 1.5Ghz A10 CPU; 1GB DDR3 Ram and 16GB internal storage, plus 7800mAh battery)
Given that there prices are so close which would you go for
If you are looking for something with dev support, meaning custom ROMs, you can get an HP Touchpad for this price if you look around online. It has a 1.2ghz Dual Core Snapdragon S3, 1GB of RAM and around a 6000mAh battery.
surely the Chinese tablets would have dev support and are better specs wise?
The Ampe A90 seems better though as it has extra 8GB internal storage but this has a Rock CPU compared to an A10. Not sure if there is a difference as the speeds seem the same.
Anyone else?
Im thinking its either the Onda Vi40 Elite, Cube U9GT2 or the Ampe.
Leaning towards the Onda.
Ended up getting the vi40 for £153 from the UK. Looking forward to it.
Not on your list, but I highly recommend cchecking out the Advent Vega.

I was wondering, if we can replace the gs6e soc for a gs6e+
it's exactly the same, only ram differences.
so we can come up with a gs6e upgraded? with 4gb ram
It might work, then again it might not. I would say it wouldnt be worth the hassle and the extra 1GB of ram isn't worth the hassle.
It is quite ridiculous that Samsung phones need 4Gb of RAM to run smoothly..
Hi.
Recently I found this old tablet and thought that maybe there is a way to make it work a little better. So here is my question:
Is it possible to replace internal storage ic with a one of bigger capacity and is it possible to do the same thing with RAM chip? And if it is possible what should I do and look out for?
I'm a veteran in soldering and working with electronics so it wouldn't be a problem, but I'm unfamiliar with devices like mobile phones and tablets. Reballing isn't an issue either.
Here is some data regarding the hardware:
RAM chip: ELPIDA B8132b3pp-1D-F
Memory chip: THGBMBG6D1KBAIL
Processor: cortex a9
Thanks in advance
So this new Vivo V21e 5G smartphone with Dimensity 700 chipset has 3GB extendible RAM apart from 8GB internal. Do you think this works like regular RAM?
