I think no... As far as I know it hasn't been released to the public... It's only the second update for MIUI 10 on this device, bugs needs to be fixed...

too bad, i messed something up with my phone. now it won't see the imei for the 2nd sim slot no matter what i do(even restoring modemst and the original qcn backup). crazy thing is everything works fine on aosp, internet, phone calls etc for both sims. only the imei is visible. on miui it kept showing the "cannot find invalid device id" warning even though everything works. annoying af. rofl
so i did some things in attempt to recover the second slot's imei, and now both of it are ****ed, and i'm locked out of my mi account for 24 hours because of some **** "too many request". rofl fml

I couldn't figure out what exactly went wrong too. Was flashing to the latest miui 10 global using edl mode before it happened. Went back to china then global and still the same thing. Actually, nothing breaks, everything works well, except for the imei, and the imei is not missing too, since using miflashpro tool(the part where it use mi recovery to get imei), both of them are showing there. Only the OS fails to get the imei number and kept showing the annoying "invalid device id" warning(on miui, on aosp custom it's as if nothing is wrong except for about page and *06# not showing imei). I'm confused as hell right now.
edit: can anyone help me out? on qxdm, nv value 00550 (ue_imei), is it supposed to be readable? on my phone it's showing as "NV status error received: value inactive", trying to write to it shows "Item read only". from what i've been reading, there's supposed to be some values for that nv item. holy balls i messed up my phone really bad.

Installed cm13 - cannot register phone on network.

Its been a long slog but ive got the os - I thought id open a new thread. I cant seem to register on the phone network. Its not the sim as ive tried another on (another provider) and that's the same and its also been a problem across all (even the stock images) that ive tried. Ive read on another thread is there a folder that I could have formatted which holds network or radio information....?
Just a thought....
Cheers.
ok - I believe its something to do with me imei number being forgotten....found a tool called the ARIZA patch but for some reason my cm13 build isn't rooted. Ive installed superuser but I still don't get root access (needed for ARIZA to work) I assumed the cm13 build would already be rooted....and idea's - I'm probably missing something...
Edit: just found the root slider - ariza patch doesn't work though - error is "phone not proper"

You could try this guide
Yep - looks like that's what happened - my imei number currently is that....well, at least I know now how to get it to a custom rom so ill have to reflash back to stock first - thanks for the link, that's a great help....ill report back in a bit...thanks again.
Nope - no luck so far....but that's definitely the problem.....lost the imei....ive never had the issue before - ive flashed mine loads of times (Note 3) and never had a problem so I never thought to back it up....if anyone has any other option I can try that'd be great....
Cheers
Ive followed the walkthrough but its not 100% clear - I might run through it a few times....
Supersu does not work on CM13, yet.
You need to turn on developer options in settings.
Well, all the stuff ive tried so far hasn't worked....I think id be looking at a manual entry (the imei is under the phone) so will try to find something along those lines....
I did try going back to a stock rom but seemed fruitless. ive gone back to cm13 as it seems the system is more open (obviously). It looks like the imei changer programs will work if xposed framework is installed....which I'm currently trying to work out how to do....easier said than done...
I think I'm done - I cant see any way of getting the imei back on there....think the phone has had it....my first loss...the xposed framework does not support the s2's architecture (that I can see)

I had a similar problem when I switched from ICS to JB, tree years ago. My phone would not register on any network no matter the SIM I put in (I tried 3 different operators). The only way I could solve it was with an apk called "Galaxy S2 Sim Unlock" - I had to work with that a little but after a little headache I could solve the problem. Since then, everything is ok - I can register on any network. My personal lesson from that experience is: "Never do a Factory Reset when upgrading Android (eg. ICS to JB, JB to KK, KK to LP and so on)." But that's only my experience. Now I'm on MM 6.0.1 (Cyanogen 13).
Ok- ill go take a look now....thanks for the link - I was hoping that someone could offer (something like this) so ive got another way of tackling it...cheers.
Edit - just gone looking and I cant see an app with the exact description....do you have the authors name (to narrow it down a little??)
Just to add this phone wasn't actually sim locked in the first place...are you saying that the side affect of using the sim unlocking software will insert the imei back in??

I bought my phone unlocked in 2011 - brand new, official release, so on.
I rooted it right away and started experimenting, installed tons of unofficial/official ROMs, playing with kernels, tweaking and everything, upgrading as soon as a new unofficial version would show up, from Stock Android 2.3.3 to... to X ... to Y... up to MM 6.0.1 (CM13) now.
I had few bricks over the time but I solved them in few hours to two days. But this problem with network registering was the longest of all and the scariest - it happened as I described it in the previous post. My understanding on that time (as I remember) was that the Factory Reset wiped my EFS.
That (Galaxy S2 Sim Unlock) apk gave me few codes I could use. Below is a note I made on those days (pretty confusing for me now, but it might help you):
-- Introducing "SIM network unlock PIN" didn't help me. I restart the phone and when it asked me the "SIM network unlock PIN", I introduced first the "Unfreeze code" but the network didn't unblock and then I introduced "SIM network unlock PIN" and the network unblocked."
As I searched now on Google Play I could not find "Galaxy S2 Sim Unlock" anymore. There is something called "GalaxSim Unlock" (by Spocky) - updated on december 2015, with support for Android 6.0.
Strange as mine I believe is the same as yours....unlocked generic phone. Ive not had any messages atall regarding "sim unlock" - my issue is theres a dummy imei in there - that's it although ill go and look now....any more information you have would be great...
Its the little things that help sometimes....I couldn't get the partitioning done atall then petrolcan mentioned a user and his script...then from that little bit of info I had a flashable zip that did everything for me...so everything helps.
I'm just not sure on the correlation between the sim unlock software and the imei missing....

Again, I'm not a specialist, but If I remember right, the EFS has to do with the IMEI, and on that time I have lost my EFS, and, I guess, my IMEI....
My S2 was usable (apks, games, wifi...) but not as a phone (for calling and receiving calls & SMS).
Or, you may want to try finding some ways of restoring EFS/IMEI....
yes, the efs folder holds the file which the imei is in (a bin file) but from what I read if you remove the efs folder completely the os will generate a new one....once you've got a new file then effectively you "should" be able to inject the imei into that thus renabling your phone (and therein lies the problem - getting the imeil back in) - yes, mines the same....everything works bar the phone access to the network...

Just guessing: Maybe "GalaxySim Unlock" injects the IMEI??? Check the description on Google Play:
"Detects errors like lost imei / serial in nv_data caused by third party apps"
You can give it a try with the free version - see what it founds on your phone.
I did try it....just gave me an nv_data error....nothing more than that...

I'll check about that tomorrow as I found few threads on XDA and I have to go now.... Hopefully you'll be "up and running" by the time I come back!
Heh - I hope so but I doubt it - spent about 5 hours Friday night, a good 12 yesterday and 12 the day before....any information you have would be great! thanks very much.
After looking around I think my best bet is the NV-items reader writer v1.0. but, I cant get it connected to the phone.....anyone got any clues on that one?? once connected it looks like you can edit the nv file and add the imei back in....

Downgrade to lollipop!!

hi guys,
i am in a bit of a trouble as after waiting for a long time for MM to be released for honor 5x in my country Pakistan but there wasn't any thing to hope for so i decided to flash manually and choose a MM file but when i put the update.app in dload folder and attempted to force flash it came back with update failed error after some reading on xda and other forums i found out that the update package was not of my region, it was European with with Denmark association. so i changed my region to mts/by (Belarus) and modified the custom.bin file in accord thinking that i would change the region back to Pakistan after up-gradation (poor me ). the update process then went smoothly and my 5x rebooted but right after that some thing strange happened.
the boot screen went green with red and blue boxes and i was frightened that i might bricked my device but after some time it shows the honor logo and setup process started.
secondly my sim card seemed to be not registered and required puk code. i dismissed the message and went on with the process. now my sim is not registering with the network.
also there is a massive battery drain even i didn't install any app.
the overall look and feel is not changed very much and also the performance is laggy.
Thing is that now i wanted to downgrade it to lollipop. and totally clueless what to do here.
i tried (Honor 5X_Firmware_KIW-L21_Android 5.1_EMUI 3.1_C432B140_United Kingdom_Channel-Others ) by putting update.app and force flashing it but the update got stuck a 5% and after 10 to 15 minutes it restarts.
please help me out, i am totally confused here
Edit: my device model is KIW-L21 but after upgradation to MM it changed to KIW-AL10.
Build number is KIW-L21C432B330
Attached is the device information.

I have tried to look for an MM for middle East but could not find it. The only solution for you imho is to flash MM for middle east.
Another way is to unlock bootloader and manually downgrade to emui 5.1 by flashing image files.
MM for middle east is available, clsA uploaded it

Well thank you but please elaborate. What do you mean by change my phone to original specification?? Are you referring to change my region or any thing else? Idk how to change region on MM and my device is not rooted. I tried to unlock its bootloader but the captcha code is not appearing in emui english website. I also tried the chinese web but it is not accepting my entered captcha saying i have not entered correct code. I tried many times but this whole unlock thing is driving me crazy. I used three different laptops, three different browsers and also tried it on mobile browser but the same thing happened again and again.
So whats your opinion in this matter, and please forgive my noobness

First of all, you are not a noob buddy. Only experienced users try this stuff. The problem is that Huawei/emui is easily messed up. Well, we learn from our mistakes.
I meant, you should change the region back to middle east. I never tried to change the region of my phones so can not help you there. Sorry for that...
The captcha code problem is faced by tons of users and everybody takes a different approach to solve it. I used Microsoft edge on win10 and never faced the captcha problem. You can mail Huawei customer care with serial, IMEI and device id and state that you are facing captcha problem. May be they will provide you the code.
If you can not change the region then alas! You are in more trouble than I thought.
I am on limited mobile data these days, if that was not the case, I would have downloaded a transition package for any other Huawei device (preferably honor6 or 7 as these are my devices) and would have used Huawei update extractor to see what partitions are they flashing for a rollback.
(Advised by DigiGoon to do this)
That would have allowed me to specify which partitions you should flash to rollback to LP to change your region again but that's all wishful thinking for the time being.
By the way, did you edit build.prop to change region?

Thank you so much for bearing with me and for such a detailed opinion. i replaced the oem.info file for EU by going into /dev/block/platform/hi-mci.0/by-name/ and also edited the Custom.bin file in Device/data/ and put mts/by (EU region value) text and cleared the previous text which was hw/meafnaf (PK region value).

What about battery drain and lags? If they disappeared and firmware is working fine, may be just restoring IMEI would be enough.

First of all thanks for your continued and kind assistance.
The thread you mentioned for imei is for mtk users only.
And yes i got my device id and the unlock code too but when i tried to unlock the boot-loader the command came back with wrong unlock code and failed.
i think my phone internal specification (imei and model number is missing) which i changed somehow and unintentionally is causing the problem. i tried but couldn't find any method for Qcom imei changing.
battery now is not draining like before but lag is still there.
So despite all your help(which i deeply appreciate), i am back to square one.

You may wish to have a look at the following page:
search the web for "Huawei Bricked phone repair guide with DC Phoenix" (sorry for not posting the link as I'm not sure it's allowed by these forums)
It's something that I haven't tried myself, but on that page, if you look at Method 2 Step 3, they're describing a possible (paid) solution to restore your missing details. I should caution the following though:
1. My antivirus flags the link in Method 2, Step 3 as UNSAFE, that could be because of what it does (changing IMEI, etc...) or maybe because the linked page/software is actually unsafe. You should exercise your own judgement there.
2. It's a paid solution
3. You may have to go through all the described steps before you attempt to repair your IMEI and other attributes.
I have used method 2 to un-brick an Ascend Mate 7 successfully, but that device had not lost its IMEI in the process, so I did not have to go through step 3 (paid 15 Euros for DC-Unlocker credits to flash the site's own recovery, nothing else I had tried would work).
The alternative would be, as other members have suggested, is to take it to a service center if that is an option for you. Hopefully someone here can suggest a better (and free) solution that you can apply directly instead of the above.

No Service (Radio Off) Redmi Note 4 Global Version Problem

Hi guys,
I have Redmi Note 4 Global version (SD625 4gb RAM 64gb storage). I had a problem about IMEI and tried to fix it. Finally i fixed it, but now when i insert the sim card, phone recognises the sim card, asks me pin code. No problem till here. After entering pin code, phone unlocks but there is no service all the time. When i try to make a call it says "Turn off airplane mode to make a call." and "RADIO OFF" in the screen, as i marked in the photo.
In the Hardware Test section (*#*#6484#*#*) sim detect "passed" as showed at the picture.
What i did for fixing;
1. Flashed china developer rom; did not work,
2. Flashed global developer rom; did not work,
3. Flashed NON-HLOS.bin file from gobal developer rom via fastboot adb; did not work,
4. Flashed gobal stable rom; did not work,
5. Flashed NON-HLOS.bin file from gobal stable rom via fastboot adb; did not work,
6. Tried to flashed .qcn file from another Redmi Note 4 Global version but get an error on this and could ot do this,
7. Flashed RR rom by TWTP, clean flash; didn't work,
8. Flashed latest developer rom from xiaomi.eu; didn't work.
I show about phone section for my phone at the picture too. I have bootloader unlocked, no root access for now (i had before and can get easly)
Please help...
Non hlos is for baseband and ur baseband is perfect as your wifi is working. Chk your sim or go to service centre but before that. Flash global stable 8.2.5 dont go there with custom rom installed

I just flashed with flash all option and it took 353 seconds, you can see in the picture.
but later i realized there ise another option on mi flash tool's drop-down menu, it says "flash_factory.bat" tried to flash with this option but i got an error, i think rom must be different for this option. so i will google for that, do you think it could help?

you should ask for .xqcn or .qcn file of working redmi note 4 mobile here or in community , then you restore it. It will restore all baseband in your mobile and surely solve your problem, but it will also restore IMEI of that mobile in your mobile, so you should try this with your nearby users which can easily support you and later you can change imei with your own IMEI
here a link of smilllar situation and has .qcn http://en.miui.com/thread-545300-1-1.html
you may try it your own risk
I have another Redmi Note 4 global version. I will try vith it.
say thanks
thanks broooooo
My problem is solved. I restored qcn file from another redmi note 4 global, and gsm serice is back.
In fact, i tried it before but got an error says "The ESN of the phone does not match the ESN of this file containing RF calibration data" so i had cancelled the process. But just a little time before now tried the same way and got same error. I googled it a little and found a way. I checked "Allow phone/file esn mismatch" option and the process succeed. And nothing happend to my origina IMEI.
Pliz share ur qcn file of redmi note 4 global, Indian version qcn doesn't work, pliz
Pliz share ur qcn, I will use my imei, don't worry, pliz share it.

If someone could share a xqcn file for a Redmi Note 4 (2016102 model) with me. Have the original Imeis written down from the box. I backed up my own xqcn, but obviously since my imei is gone I cannot find the adresses to edit them back in.
I have same problem Radio turned off and MI service center advised to change motherboard which will cost almost price of a new phone. Will this issue also cause because of a hardware issue?
Hi to everyone and very sorry for not replying. I didn't get any notifications from the app for your posts.
I had opened the same topic at mi forum. Here is the link: http://en.miui.com/thread-686524-1-1.html
You will find more information there.
For Any Mi Device if radio is off
first need to flash with edl or fastboot mode for any issue related to network baseband imei radio, but after all there is no luck
for Radio off you need to write QCN only with any tool like UMT,CM2,Miracle,Qpst and etc whatever you have you need to read a fresh qcn with same model phone using tools and write on your damaged else search on internet for qcn and write with same tool of qcn backup after this process reboot your phone and check your imei if all is well there no need to do anything else need change your imei with original imei and enjoy your phone
---------- Post added at 02:01 PM ---------- Previous post was at 01:56 PM ----------
write any qcn file for same model and change imei with original IMEi by UMT/miracle no need to change qcn in ultraedit software if you are not much expert you can fix in few step easily bro using this kind of tool ask if is there any query

Lost IMEI restored succesfully but the signal never came back

Hello Guys, so as described in the title it all started when i wanted to unlock bootloader unofficially, im not a newbie but didn't expect Xiaomi to act like samsung in terms of making it a big headache to unlock the device...
anyway the unofficial method consist of flashing MIUI 7.1.8.0 while i was on 8.0.x.x if im not mistaken
I had my sim in my main phone in the process so im not really sure when did i basically lose the IMEI, baseband, MAC address all these things but i discovered that i lost them and spent like 2 weeks searching and tryingdifferent tutorials (i have like 50 bookmarks and maybe downloaded like 30GB worth of data!!)
Final/Current situation:
IMEI1 and IMEI2 recovered --> can log in to Mi account
MAC address recovered --> can connect to wifi
Service NOT recovered, phone detect the sim, it shows the sim number in settings, even the access points are read from the sim and shown in the Access Point area but whatever i do the sim card shows No service
last thing i did is i flashed MIUI9 beta official, locked bootloader, stock recovery...
I hope this thread get some attention for me and many others as well...ready to answer any extra clarifications
It's Redmi Note 3 Special Edition (SE)
[Product Code is 2015161 which is for kenzo according to thsi http://en.miui.com/thread-449310-1-1.html]
Qualcomm Snapdragon 650 CPU

Pocophone f1 Won't turn on WIFI and wont read SIM card - stuck in Android setup

Hi all,
I am completely stuck with this, I couldnt get any wifi it wouldnt turn on and when I did it just turned off again. It also wont read my sim card and randomly restarts.
I tried factory resetting but its now just stuck getting me through the android setup and needs internet in order for me to register the account that I previously used on the phone, otherwise it wont let me pass. It wont turn on wifi still and still doesnt register my sim card.
Please help as I have been trying this for hours and Im honestly at the end of my rope.
Cheers,
Evan
update:
I have tried,
factory reset
Flashing the rom,
downgrading,
upgrading,
wiping everything and putting latest miui again,
used twrp for running a recovery.
None of this has worked - all came to the same problem
So i believe that I found the issue. I managed to actually get in to the phone without needing to login to my mi account after a long few hours troubleshooting. Managed to boot in to miui 9.
I can see that my IMEI numbers are showing as UNKNOWN
I am going to see if I can find the box for my phone and then get the imei numbers back in the EFS file using miracle box
** :UPDATE 2.0: **
Hi.
So I am now witnessing really strange behavior.......
The phone will reboot ocassionally. Ive not recorded a pattern but every now and again it will register the SIM card but wont turn on the wifi.
The IMEI numbers will show, the base band version will show and the mac address. But I dont think they are correct.....
----------
Its showing
IMEI (SLOT1):
868xxxxxxxxx333
IMEI (sv1)
00
IMEI (SLOT2):
868xxxxxxxxx341
IMEI (sv2)
00
----------------------------
Baseband version:
Will update on next reboot that shows it as I didnt manage to capture the data when it did actually appear
----------------------------
Mac address:
02:00:00:00:00:00
I don't think some of this is correct.....
Like the mac address.... It doesnt look right to me.....
Anyone help with these symptoms?
It wont actually connect to any network still when it shows these details and after a short few minutes will restart and show them as unknown again.
Kind regards,
Evan
Try fastboot rom

The fastboot rom is different from the one that use to be flashed with twrp. Did you given a try with fastboot rom? Internet is required while flashing with miflash as it uses your mi account. Don't loose hope.
Thanks.

I know this isn't the help you're looking for but if you need your phone to work just take it to a service center. It'll cost money off course, but they'll help you. Some service centers do it within a few minutes

Hi!!
I have the same problem, any good news?
i have the same problem.. when i connet to wifi after fastboot rom flash it goes to sleep and never works again.. then i have to flush fastboot rom again and again. what should i do
Watch this

Try the persist fix. If that doesnt help, i doubt that some box will, as it appears to be a hardware issue..
Hi guys, some problem to me and I just fix it.
I noticed that if the phone is switched off for at least 10 minutes then wifi and SIM card are working for some minutes before stop. I used this time to unlock the bootrom, install the TWRP, root the phone and backup the EFS partition ready to apply the "Super guide: Persist file the magical file". On TWRP I noticed that I don't have the persist partition for the magical file. Anyhow I powered on the phone and now WiFi and SIM card are working properly! Hope this helps.
