Dont own a Redmi5 yet but wondering if the focus hunting issue reported in C4ETech's two video reviews has been fixed yet?

There is nothing we can do to get direct draw to work on our phone correct?
I read a few places but am really disappointed to hear there is a problem that most likely cannot be fixed. raw frame buffer is better, but I hoped someone would have a workaround.
No. i heard no2chem fixed it all by himself, so i flashed his 5069d the other day, and i was in awe watching a youtube video on TCMP. utter amazement. NOTHING has come close to that quality that ive ever seen on my phone. of course, flashed back to DCD for performance reasons, and i always have problems with N2C's on verizon.
I wonder if DCD has this in the works or if not, would be willing to share notes with N2C on this issue, or if not to reverse engineer for that issue alone.
DCD himself complained that this would be the reason he changes out to a new phone.
I am guessing there is still no fix for the nearly non-existent sounds on videos recorded with the TB? Anyone have any idea when this might roll out?
I don't have any problem with my videos
Lucky you, I guess.
Well you don't specify anything so what else is anyone supposed to say. Has it always been like this? If not when did it start? Are you rooted? If so what rom are you running? What kernel are you running?
You can't complain about a problem and just magically expect a fix, provide information and people can help you.
The OP is talking about the dual microphones on the device. These as we know are intended to reduce background noise while on a call, unfortunately they work all the time, essentially canceling out almost all sound when recording video with the stock camcorder. HTC has recognized this as an issue and has stated that a fix will pushed out. As of yet I have not heard of any updates being pushed.

Thanks for the clarification and the helpful response. As an aside, responding that "I dont have a problem with XXX" is not really all that helpful. Thanks for your thoughts though.
The new leaked RUU made available yesterday SHOULD fix the audio issues, but I can't confirm this. Anyone have experiences with this?
I can confirm the leaked RUU fixed the low audio problem on video playback.
I can confirm that it works for me too
I can confirm that the leaked RUU fixes the low audio problems. The last of my issues is now resolved
I'm running TEAM D.I.R.T's Dirty Unicorns v2.1 ROM and I am wondering why whenever I record a video I get sporadic lines and when I send a video over MMS the lines are REALLY bad
Sorry if this has been addressed somewhere but I couldn't find it
Vertical lines? I've seen the same issue on my phone, except for it's sporadic on mine. I'm using CM 10.1 Wild for the Night.
Yeah verticle lines, not black either.
I used that ROM before this one and I had it on that one too
My guess is that there must be some odd compatibility issues with JellyBean and the camera drivers. I've never seen that with any ICS-based ROM. Would love to hear if anyone else has experienced this and resolved it.
Same.
I'm assuming there may be a mismatched driver too that I may have missed, otherwise it's probably like you said and just related to JB. But that would mean everyone else has the same issue that is on JB ROMs.
Hello XDA,
Recently I've acquired a Razr (and I must say, this thing's great ), and have gone into my usual habit of slapping on different roms on it much like many of my previous Android devices.
In the process of doing so, I have noticed that many (if not most) of the 4.2/4.3 roms which are AOSP/CM based, they have some issues when recording video. The problem is that upon reviewing a piece of video which had been recorded with the camera, the audio channels are very off center. This led to my realization that the back microphone is the left channel, while the front microphone becomes the right channel.
Although this bug is not very critical, I was wondering if there are any known fixes for this. I have tried googling this problem, but it doesn't seem like many people have noticed/cared about this.
Thanks for reading, hoping that someone could shed some light on this issue!
EDIT: I'm currently running AOKP MR2 with JBX 1.4 Kernel, as well as Artmod 4.31. Artmod does not have this problem as it is stock based.
Whenever I take picture with my phone in dark room...or somewhere where led flash need to be used, photos are ale white..I mean not all, but enough that it is useless. Does anybody knows how to fix this bug ? It seems like led flash is too bright(strong) so it impacts image in a bad way. Also, does anybody experienced this issue ?

are you putting some cover on your phone?then it may cause problems
if you are on custom rom then its a bug update the rom
if you are on stock then try a factory reset
I changed over a 15 roms and kernels, now I'm on stock(flashed with odin, latest) and still the same. No covers, also. Did anyone experienced this issue, my friends told me that that is common issue on S2, is that true ? or it is a bug ?

The only common issue on the S2 I know is the mic (sometimes not work unless screaming) and the camera filming at 1080p looks like 720p but then 1.5x zoomed.
No mic problems, or any others, just that one with a camera. Video quality is good also.
