Hi, I was just wondering how to troubleshoot this issue.
I recently restored from a separate S9+ using the samsung tools (not sure if there is a direct correlation) and my new S9+ is unable to issue DHCP connections to other devices. The issue is as such:
1) If I have a wpa2 password - (ie 12345678), all devices return that the password is incorrect.
2) If i set the connection to "OPEN", devices are still unable to connect
Any help would be appreciated

I bought prevents this smartphone, after rooting, I noticed that the connection would jump, after some research I read the router manual for specific devices that the mac address must be in some range of values, so it must be changed on Android .... following the procedure of the lg p500 does not change ... what can I do?

The mac address for each and every network device is embedded into the device.
So there are 3 possibilities:
The wifi chip in your SGSII is faulty and is telling the O/S the wrong details - send it in for repair.
The Android O/S has corrupted and is reporting the wrong mac address - reset the phone to factory settings (wiping everything) or flash with a wiping ROM. If still unresolves send in for repair.
The phone is stolen and you are trying to hide its true identity from being traced - no help from this site.
Hello, I have a huge problem with the ZTE v987 which I've bought from a Chinese purveyor.
I have installed on it:
V987 Android 4.2.1 V2.0MOD by BM, after that the 3rd and 4th version also. Now I have ROM BM 4. Noone solved my problem.
The phone is manufactured August 2013. It works good with 3G also, modem works in mode H or H+. I have tried 3 networks in my country and it works, anyway there is a network in my country which has voice/messages disabled and has roaming for data, the network is only for data service, no voice/message, this network works on my huawei and it works also on another v987 (probably version with another "baseband", I guess)
My V987 cannot connect to the network.
I have made a log from logcat
logcat -b radio -v threadtime *:V
There is that log:

The radio had been disabled, I had enabled it, the v987 tried to connect and failed
The network is called "FullName is Aero2", numeric "mccmnc = 26017, pnn = Aero2'
For comparison
There is a log from connecting to the network

full success, and the phone can works on 3g h+ mode, above 9mbit/s works

Previously I connected to the corporate network from my work, held the key to access the router but needed to change the mac address of my device, used to use macchanger with root access.
I recently connected to the network but do not have access to the Internet.
An option to solve this problem and to connect again to the Internet?
My device is an ace samsung galaxy 3 android 4.4.2

After flashing some ROM's I've lost my WLAN MAC Address. I know the address, but the phone just shows 02:00:00:00:00:00 under the WiFi Settings.
Bluetooth and mobile network are working fine. I flashed 6.9.22 via fastboot on the phone but that didn't worked.
Can anybody tell me where I can set the MAC Address manually or fixing it? The original MAC address is still shown under /sys/devices/soc.0/a000000.qcom,wcnss-wlan/wcnss_mac_addr

Same issue in here, After Flash Rom Global Dev 6.9.15 by fastboot then update OTA to 6.9.22 my wlan can't turn on, mac address & ip has lost, and 1 more issue is, my microphone didn't active for outgoing call, my phone has lost the main job!! "Telephone"

I had to flash , because phone was unusable - it stucked mostly on obtaining IP address wifi
after a while, phone disconnected from wifi and cant find any wifi or if find, then cant connect because of some security issue , after restart all was OK ...
