I recently switched to MIUI 10 from Lineage os 15.1.
Gcam used to work fine in Lineage. But it's not working in MIUI 10. Whenever I open it just a blank screen appears and nothing else. Please help. I'm using GCam5.1.018-Arnova8G2-V1.3-Front-HDR+ version and MIUI 10 8.7.2 China ROM.

I think that some of those Gcam mods require Oreo.

Hey Guys,
the fingerprint sensor of my redmi note 3 doesn't work anymore. I opened the phone yesterday but I have plugged the fingerprint sensor cable back in. It worked for 5 minutes after I put the phone back together, I just had to set a new fingerprint in the settings. But then suddently it stopped working. The strage thing is that when I want to set a new fingerprint I can tap 1 time and it gets recognized but I have to tap more than 1 time to save the fingerprint.
EDIT : Normally I use CM 12.1 by Sicmosh, I reinstalled CM 12.1 but still no function. Then I installed MIUI 8 latest China Developer Rom via MI Flash tool and it didn't work too.
Sorry for the complexe sentences and sorry for my english.
Hope anyone can help me.
What rom are you using? I had this problem once and it was because I had xposed on a cm12.1 rom

Oh sorry I forgot to write which roms I tried.

Hey, I recently switched to MIUI 10 and I want to install the pixel 2 launcher but all the APKs show the "There was a problem parsing this package" error, if I try and install them. Is there any APK that works with MIUI 10?

Hey, I don't know exactly can be installed pixel launcher in miui rom. 1year ago i could not. best experince about it is installing custom rom 8,9 android version like nitrogen , they are based pixel launcher experince but are not as good as miui performance and battery usage.
how do you get miui version 10 rom?
latest update miui is 9.6.2.0 stable version.
there are some ported miui 10 from cooker but as i know kenzo Goodix fingerprint now working
I've tried most of the custom ROMs already and I've been using the pixel 2 launcher with those ROMs but I went back to miui 10 to try it out. Also, I'm not using stable ROM, there's a developer ROM available from the MIUI forum, I think it is MIUI 10 v8.9.20.
it seems pixel launcher is not working on miui roms. it is ported for other based roms without miui environment.

I have the fpc model and yes my fingerprint is working perfectly in Miui 10.
Hello everyone, my redmi 5 Rosy has a problem with the Fingerprint sensor that does not work, at the beginning I had installed the official Pixel Experience and gave me problems too, they released an update of the EP but sent the BootLoop phone , then I installed Lineage OS 15 and Aosp extended 9.0 GSI but it gives me problems too, how do I fix the FP?

I'm using PE too.
Same to me, FP sensor not work in latest update oreo.
Rollback to previous version of PE will solved the problem.
I'm Using PE official 8.1 update 08.11.2018

Flashing 9.0 Pie ROMs on Xiaomi mi 8 Lite results in sound not working on device. Which means no games, no YouTube, no functionality
However flashing the 8.1 Oreo ROMs are fine
I'm guessing this is a simple issue I'm encountering. Can anybody help enlighten me to where I am going wrong or what the issue is?

I Installed the MIUI BETA build on 9.0 Pie, updated MIUI fully, then reflashed TWRP and installed a 9.0 Custom ROM
and I have working sound. :good:

Good to know. I just got my phone this past Monday and am awaiting the bootloader unlock. I did see that some of the custom ROMs did mention, you must come from a Pie OS before flashing. Guess now I know why. Thanks!

Have you try factory reset?

MIUI 12 is not all it's cracked up to be. The animations are too much and many minor bugs like horrible ram management and it's slower than miui 11. There are also several bugs like phone failing to respond to touches, night mode glitches, and now you mentioned non-working camera. I'm on miui eu 12 but I must go back to v 11. If you can please save yourself some trouble and go back to 11.
