Hi, as the title I can't find a compatible File manager with the new rom. I usally use "com.alphainventor.filemanager" but the lat time I can use it was on the 2.6.0.18 ROM. Is only my problem? any suggest?
I'm running the official 2.8 ROM on my Pace and that file manager works for me.
You could try updating or doing a factory reset. Not sure why it's not working on 2.6.
Ok thanks for confirming that.. probably is time to do a factory reset because never do it
can confirm that on 2.8.0.5 all is working well :good:

As the tittle say. i have purchased the premium version and installed CWm through it. i never used it before, i was always going through odin or cwm manualy. but yesterday i tryed to instal CyanogenMod 7 for Samsung Galaxy S II and that was reason for purchase the rom manager. but i coudlnt even see it in avaible ROMS. i did ther install the harder way. but i wanted automatic updates. i made research and i am left with no clue how to fix this issue.
i can only see cognition ROM's untill 1.06 and Darky's old roms. nothing else.
i tryed;
reflashing whole ROM
factory reset
wiped cache
reinstaled
and i also checked the option advanced in menu with no luck.
can someone give me idea how to fix this bad issue. i am unable to see roms.
Thanks
Any ideas? I am stuck...
Its not available for rom manager yet.
I've also got this issue. I can only see these options under download rom: extras, google apps, designgears roms and Novek, which I'm pretty sure are the ones I could see in the free version of rommanager. Although I'm not looking to install cyanogen it says in the cyanogen thread that it should be available in rommanager now.
Bump....can anyone help? :-(
Hello to all,
I've been looking on this forum, searched for everything I wanted, and always get an answer, but this time I need to ask some experts here. As the title says the gps don;t want to get fix even on clear sky and without any building around. I used many programs one of it is "gps status" where are shown 0/11 fix, basicaly there are 11 satelites available I believe. I have tried almost all the roms available in the development section but none of them worked, even the cm7. Used another firmware and there is fix to this. If I use the original samsung rom untouched the gps is working normaly. Please let me know what I doing wrong?
Thanks,

Since I'm rooted and flashed Faux kernel, I have connection problems (wireless & 4G), is very slow. Today I had an infinite bootloop, I removed the battery to solve the problem. I also had problems with update SU ... I went on the market for the SU fixer. For that, it's ok...but is there anyone who can tell me what to do to return to the original version of Telus? no more for me.

You will also need to flash stock kernel back, I'll let you find that in the dev section...i'll give you a hint its by xboarder and its called kernel flasher by xboarder.
Thank's for the answers ... I flashed the kernel again and now everything works normally. A question about the superuser, I have a message telling me that it's obsolete, yet I installed the fix from market, always the same message, you have an idea?

Did you flash the stock rom back???? you should not have superuser if you flashed the stock rom back. you should always wipe dalvik cache, wipe cache, wipe factory settings from recovery before installing a rom.

absolutely not, just rooted (xboarder56 utility) & flash the kernel.
For SU, I currently have version 2.3.2.-efgh ... he told me There's a new version 3.0.3.2, it downloads but when installing, it says error

then you should flash the stock rom back.
hasoon in post number 3 told you what to do. Why are you not flashing stock rom back????
Because now everything is working as I want and I have the stock rom, right? First, I wanted it to be root with a custom recovery while keeping the rom that was already in phone. Eventually, I download another rom.
well, i have here a vodafone v845, with cm 3.0.0.5-recovery and root installed i once have installed a 2.1-rom (LR845 v1.9 synthesys), somehow my nephew git it out, that there is no mp3-playback anymore (used different players, says missing codec), i tried factory reset and wipe in recovery, did'nt work, then i installed the 2.3.7 v5 from Lololololololololol - it worked, but still no mp3-playback in standart mp3-player.
i now tried to go back to stock rom, but recovery says something with "since gingerbread,... etc.)
Am I able to resume stock rom, which other rom should i choose?
thanks for help
Hi all
I'm not even sure that's the right section :\
I recently installed the latest MIUI Italian rom (It shall be version 3.7.12) and it worked like a charm (installed with full wipes)... Until today.
I was simply browsing Facebook when the entire phone freezed.
I tried to reboot keeping pushed the Power button, but after Samsung bootscreen (not the one animated, the one before the kernel), black screen.
I tried to:
- Wipe cache & dalvik
- Fix permissions
- Re-flash the rom without any wipe
- Removing the battery and putting it back again inside
But no clue, no one of my solution worked, so I restored a previous AOKP backup.
Since I thought that finally i've found my perfect rom, and i've set all the apps, i'd rather not wipe...
How can I get that device fixed?
And PS: Sorry for my english

miui 3.7.12(180mb) is update from 3.7.5(405mb), i think you need flash 3.7.5 for base rom and after update with 3.7.12
